The invite to a new meeting had come as a bit of a surprise to Athene, coming so soon after the last meeting. At first in two minds about accepting the invite – the last large meeting between senshi and knights hadn’t exactly gone so great – the topic of the meeting was what had pushed the dark-haired senshi into sending confirmation that he’d be there.
Purification. It wasn’t something Athene knew much about and although there had been some information mentioned at the previous meeting, there had been too many arguments and counter-arguments – many of them loud – for the dark-haired senshi to effectively follow along.
Before the senshi meeting, Athene would probably have admitted to not really having any real opinion on the issue, but after the events of the meeting the dark-haired senshi was slowly coming to the opinion that purification was the best option, the only real option available.
He’d listened as those around him spoke up, nodding quietly when something was said that he agreed with. Personally Athene knew that killing wasn’t an option for him, dusting youma was one thing but taking another person’s life? No he couldn’t do it – that would just make him as bad as the Negaverse and their Dark Mirror senshi allies.
A black-haired Squire in mostly blue and white (Bimini) spoke about it being dangerous to have those purified together and Athene spoke up in response. “I agree that if we manage to purify people then we probably shouldn’t have them all living together, especially since they’d probably be targets or something.” He bit his lip “I couldn’t offer up where I live for people to stay, it’s not really that big” well that and he wouldn’t be able to explain a person turning up out of the blue to his cousin. “But I’m happy to do what I can to help.” It didn’t sound like much to his ears, compared to some of the other things being offered and Athene tailed off feeling awkward.

Sailor Irene listened closely to the princesses who had gathered to address the group. She had never met Polaris or Chronos directly, but still admired them for their poise and eloquence. When one said “princess,” that was the image that came to mind, of an elegant lady in a long dress, regal and kind. She couldn’t help but look up to the example that they set, regardless of the information they provided, though the information was also helpful.
Then her own princess spoke, and Irene practically facepalmed. She had gotten used to Iris’ coarse language when they were speaking one-on-one, but it was still jarring to hear her address a group in that manner. For a while she had entertained the notion that Iris had company manners that she only put on when they were needed, but her behavior here seemed to disprove that theory. Next to the other princesses in full regalia, Iris also didn’t look that impressive, and she had no useful information to contribute.
But only Sailor Iris would be able to stand up in front of a crowd and admit confidently, almost proudly, that she was clueless. Not many people would have the strength to do that. Irene couldn’t help but be proud to be part of her team, and she scooted closer to Eunomia, feeling comforted by the older senshi’s presence. She was definitely in good company as long as she was with the Asteroids.
Purification was a topic of particular interest for Irene. If there was a way to end the conflict peacefully, without violence or anger, she was all for it, After a year of being a senshi, she had started to get used to fighting, but she couldn’t honestly say she enjoyed it. Part of that was because she had no good ways of injuring anyone, even youma. It made sense, she supposed, for the Senshi of Peace to be ill at ease with war, but the fact remained that they were at war. She was part of it, whether she wanted to be or not, and she had to know what she could do to help bring it to a speedy end with as few casualties as possible.
In her opinion, few meant none. There was no reason that Irene could think of that would make her kill anyone, even an enemy. From the discussion, she could tell that not everyone shared her view on this point. Some might argue that to stop the Negaverse from killing others, they had to be killed themselves. That just made them as bad as the bad guys. No, Irene would have no part of that. She would use whatever tools she had at her disposal to keep any deaths from happening, and if purification was one, then she needed to learn as much about it as possible.

Iris remained upon the stage, since it would have seemed odd for her to just meander into the crowd so that the eyes could be off of her. It would end up drawing more attention to her than she'd like. Any who took a look upon her would find an expression similar to the one she had when she first started speaking to the audience. It was a very intense look upon her face and it didn't seem to be softening any time soon.
In all honesty, she was concentrating upon listening to all that was offered. She usually was the sort who would jump into something blindly. However, this was one of those things that would have been hard to jump into blindly. The crystal already drained her of quite a bit of energy when she used it 1 time. It was worse than anything she had ever dealt with before, even including all her failures with her Rainbow Revenge prior. The crystal wasn't something she could use willy nilly.
So far, all that she could hear was speculation for the most part. There were some stupid ideas being tossed out in the open, but many of them were getting squashed within moments of being offered. Even with all of the debating, the blonde could appreciate how this meeting wasn't going to hell!

Nysa had only recently come to terms with the fact he would need to fight in this war and put his pacifist ways to the side in many situations. He did need to preserve his own life, so choosing not to fight when he himself was in danger was essentially hazardous to his health.
It was obvious the Super senshi upon the stage was having difficulties finding the right and appropriate words for an introduction. If he wasn't so in check to his own reactions, he might have winced at her few expletives that slipped out. Slang was never a proper way to address an audience.
The young lad was proud that his Captain was the first to speak amongst the three designated speakers upon the stage. Her words were certain, informative, and filled with conviction. The Princess was truly the right figure to fire up a crowd to take a subject seriously. To Nysa, it was obvious that her time at Crystal Academy had been well spent, even if only judging upon her public speaking abilities. Nysa was truly engaged with her speech.
The next two speakers were not completely familiar to him, though he had seen both at the previous meeting. The first one seemed quieter, but it probably had more to do with the fact she had less to say. Just because the quantity of words was less didn't make them any less important. The term "Barren Pines" seemed familiar, but he was not 100% certain about it. As the girl revealed, she had been around for quite a while longer and had some vague experience with this thing called "purification." This girl seemed like the youngest of the group, and seemed to have quite a big heart with how she appealed to the notion of forgiveness. It was very respectable.
And then the ruffian blonde girl spoke. The manner in which she addressed everyone was so informal. It was almost barbaric. He wasn't exactly impressed with her lack of information. Her accusatory tone also wasn't doing her any favors when it came to Nysa's opinion of her.
After the floor was opened up, a couple of interesting theories arose. The debate of memory and how to deal with it was intriguing. The Squire of Neptune kept to himself, still absorbing all the information, but he couldn't help but agree that making one single base for all of the potential newly recruited members of Order was essentially a death sentence waiting to happen. There were better ways to go about it than to throw money about carelessly.
Another stray comment he had managed to catch was a young lady with silvery hair proclaiming how she wouldn't refrain from using harsher methods of dealing with the Negaverse.
A child had asked about where a few various people of specific names were. None were really familiar, but she seemed quite intent in her questioning, which would lend to him deducing that they probably important.
The most the lad would offer was a small assertion on his own part.
"I would be willing to lend my support to any sort of support system set in place."
It was simple, but it got his point across.

Super Sailor Aster had brought a notepad and pen to take some diligent notes, but had already had her mind drift off and found herself doodling pictures ranging from sunflowers to obscene stick figure art. Realizing none of this was appropriate, she tossed the notepad aside, landing on the floor by the feet of the princesses, and snapped back into emceeing action.
"A support system would be excellent," Aster nodded. "In fact, that leads me to something I would like to bring up." She paused for a moment and surveyed the room once more. "A quite a bit of work goes into purification, and unfortunately its unclear if we are able to purify without the help of a princess, although it doesn't seem that we are able to. As much as we will be reliant on the princesses in this, we will also be reliant on each other, especially to put in place a support system for the newly purified."
"So like, I am suggesting that we set up a task force here and now with all the members in this room - and open door policy for those who are not. At the close of the meeting, we should all scan each other in our phones to be able to contact each other so that we can best move forward towards this goal."
"We can meet on occasion, swap information about what we have learned of purification," she continued. "We are less of a team - but a network. A task force with a common goal that bears on none of your other allegiances to other teams you may be established in."
"If there is someone that you believe can be purified, we can contact a princess to ask for their assistance in purification. We can take initiative...with the help from some royal friends." She smiled the seated royalty.
"That said, the discussion of the meeting is adjourned," she added. "Please begin entering each other in our phones."
((The meeting is now at an official close, but you are welcome to continue to post your characters trading information or may hand-wave it.))
exclaim The purification of NPC Chaos characters is now permitted. Each purification requires approval from the moderation team. This is to set a reasonable limit to the amount that is done. Requests to have an NPC purified go to The Space Cauldron.
Things to note when sending in your request: - A stage-four or Royal character with purification capability is required to do the actual purification. Do contact the players of these characters! - While it may not be IC knowledge to all or any, the following are OOC rules: [1] Dark Mirror Court Senshi cannot be purified. [2] Purifications cannot be forced - the target must be open to it. - The above two rules can be learned ICly through trial and error, so plots where purifications are attempted and fail are viable. - Not all purifications will be accepted to keep a limit to the number done - but don't be discouraged. To better the odds, make sure the request details the purification as a small arc, not as a quick thing.
Happy purifying, folks!
((Note: This was approved by staff through proposal sent in by me as a player, not as staff!))

There were a few more opinions offered up from the floor, pretty much re-iterations of support for the suggested support network, before the senshi in yellow and green at the front (Aster) spoke again. Although he hadn’t caught her name, Athene figured that her senshi ability probably had something to do with sunflowers, based on the sunflower brooch that she was wearing.
The dark-haired senshi listened as she talked about setting up a task force and nodded absently when she mention that everybody should take the time to scan the other members into their senshi phone. He already had Polaris scanned into his phone, but there were other senshi present who were unfamiliar to him. Part of Athene wondered how it would work for the Knights present given that – as far as he knew – they didn’t seem to get phones. Although maybe the senshi there could pass on what information they had when (or if) their paths crossed with the Knights present. Athene was certainly personally happy to do so.
It seemed with that that tonight’s meeting was over, leaving the dark-haired senshi with a fair bit to think on. Although first… Summoning his blueish-green and bronze coloured cell phone, Athene looked around the faces in the hall, picking out those who were unfamiliar while making a mental note to at least briefly try for brief introductions when request permission to scan them into his phone.
