Ea stopped crying at looked at the lion. Seems they have some stuff in common and smiled. A club for people that had a suckish family? Is that just okay? Anyways, ea smirked as he stood up, letting the wind blow on his little lion-like mane.
"Suits me. By the way, the looks you had earlier probably meant you didn't know what i am. I am a hybrid call a 'Cheeton.'" Ea said, smirking.

It was nice to see Ea calming down. Huritt's words did some good it seems. At least, he stopped crying. Ea's new mood sent a smile on Huritt's face. Maybe the kid won't look so grumpy anymore --being sad all the time was never any fun.
Huritt tilted his head, contemplating Ea's words. A hybrid? Laughter started streaming out of him. "Get out! You mean to tell me a lion and a cheetah can have cubs? That's the craziest thing I've ever heard." He raised a paw and wiped away a tear from his eye. It just tickled him that such a thing could be possible. Though, the kid did look weird. He did have a bit of a cheetah body and a lion's features. How fascinating. "Well, then you must be lucky! You get the best of both worlds. You'll have the speed of a cheetah and the strength of a lion. Remind me never to piss you off when you get older."
Welp, that's it. Sign Huritt up! His pool of ladies just multiplied by at least a million. Plus, if lions and cheetahs could have cubs, Huritt was betting that leopards could too. Oh, this has been a very interesting day indeed.

Ea chuckled, knowing this wasn't the whole story of hybrids and also knew Huritt didn't know their were two more on the list of hybrids. "You forgot this. Lions can do it with leopards and cheetahs can do it with leopards also, so that called them 'Leopons and Leotahs." Ea said with a smile. Sense Huritt can now expand this List of Ladies that he had and huffed. Ea watched, knowing Huritt can at least be lucky to breed.
"My part isn't so lucky. Your the one with luck. I can't even breed at all, i am infertile as one would say it, making me a bit weird around females because i have to turn them down." Ea says and shrugs. Sheathing his claws, he sees they are between the size of cheetah claws and lion claws, bigger than a lion's but smaller than a cheetah's, making him more deadly on fights and making him more fast on races. Sighing, he looked around, thinking of nothing and turned to Huritt. Nothing could postpone the smile on Ea's muzzle, even for a second.

A few uncomfortable coughs ripped through Huritt's throat. He was so excited about learning some interesting things that he forgot that Ea was a cub. Ea shouldn't be talking about this kind of stuff yet...should he? Huritt needed to be the responsible adult and talk about more friendly stuff. Though, Huritt's had zero experience with cubs before...and the kid already had to grow up in order to survive this long... whatever. Huritt wasn't going to feel guilty about ruining this kid's innocence. Besides, it sounded like he already knew a lot.
He shrugged, "Psssshhh~ who cares about having kids? I mean, yeah, they're cool and all, but you're not...you know... without your weapon." He was starting to feel a bit embarrassing talking about this. "You may not be able to have kids, but at least you can get it on." Just shoot him. He was trying to cheer the kid up, but this was awkward.

Ea just sat there, looking at the lion. Yeah, he learned a lot sense he has met quite a few people. Ea needed to know this stuff to keep on his knowledge sense thanks to what happened to him, being infertile, he can focus on some things like new parents and someplace for a new life. "Right now, i am trying to find the perfect set of adoption parents for me because this 'Orphan Cub' stuff is killing me." He says to Huritt.

"Oh, yeah?" Huritt tilted his head contemplating. He couldn't think of anybody that wanted to become a parent. His list was rather short considering he hasn't talked to a lot of others. The lands were large, so his interactions remained limited. There was no way he could do it. Huritt just wasn't ready to become a dad yet. Plus, he needed to travel long distances and taking care of a cub would really hinder his movements. "Sorry, little man, but I can't help you there. I don't know anybody out here." He felt bad, but there really wasn't anything he could do. Soon he'd have to travel again, so his time here was limited. "Though, I wish you good luck. I know you'll pull through."
Glancing towards the sky, Huritt noticed the sun was glaring down on them. He's spent a lot of time with Ea, but he needed to move on. He wasn't a night owl and enjoyed the sun on his back while he walked. "Well, it seems you're feeling a lot better." He was glad his words lifted Ea's spirits. Huritt never liked negative energy. "I can honestly say it's been a pleasure meeting you, but I got to get going." He stood up, "But if we ever meet again, know you got a friend." A smile spread across his face.

Ea sighed as he got up and stretched. He looked to the big lion and walked off a bit. "I best be going. If i don't hurry up and travel before it gets darker, i'll be stuck here till sunrise." He says and with a bow, he started to pad, picking up speed till he started to run, wind blowing his small tufts as he ran. (can end now)

Huritt turned to leave, but glanced back to watch Ea run off. He really will miss the little guy. Hopefully, Ea will find what he's looking for. Huritt shook himself to bring his mind back from the dump. All this emotional stuff was really bringing him down.
He turned to face the blazing sun, then set off in a brisk walk. The wind blew though his mane and a grin spread across his cheeks.
