"The pods?" He frowned. Just thinking about going back in there made a chill run up his spine. He didn't know how people, Kat included, managed to cope with going back in there a second time. "Yeah," 'If' he woke up she said. Meaning he may not. "I look forward to it."
At her response, however, the moon trainee made an exasperated sound and continued walking. "Ahh, right. Who am I kidding, this is you we're talking about." He said with a snort, reading the room numbers as they passed them by. "What's your room number again?"

"I think it's a better punishment than death. The whole 'second chance' thing only applies if you're still breathing," Ariane replied in a matter-of-fact manner, chuckling when Ryan seemed to have given up on trying to make her control her butt-touching, "Right. The day I stop touching butts is the day you should be concerned about someone posing to be me."
At the question, she paused briefly - as if she had forgotten the answer herself - before answering, "Room 116... Which is riiiiiiiight here."
She stopped right outside the door, grinning as she unlocked it and pushed it open. Once she was inside, she dropped her bags on the floor, and put her hands on her hip, admiring her handiwork; the wall looked normal again, without the stupid holes letting in unwanted skylight and fog, "Home sweet home. Took me forever to patch up that stupid wall."

Normally, hunters were warned by the presence of fog filling the area. That did not quite happen here. The reason being was that the dragon hadn't been inside actually. No. The only warning the two inside the room received was a blast of flame bursting right through the wall.
A look outside and it wasn't hard to see the draconic head of fog that awaited them.
This place was no one's else's home. Only theirs.

Ryan had, literally, just sat the duffel bag onto the floor when the s**t hit the fan. He had heard rumors of there being a dragon of sorts on the island, but he hadn't actually seen it. At least not until now that was.
"Holy s**t!" He stared at the gaping hole in the newly repaired wall, before his gaze landed on the dragon itself. "Ariane..." He started, tapping her on the shoulder lightly, eyes still glued foggy beast. "I don't know how to say this, but I think you have a pest problem..."

A pest problem? Ariane had far more worse of a problem than that. The fog beast let out a monstrous roar before unleashing more ashen colored flames at the duo.
Yes.
They were no ordinary pest.
They were a pest that could do a hell of a lot of damage.

"PEST? HE DESTROYED MY WALL," She practically turned to yell at Ryan, although her anger was clearly not directed at him, "I JUST FIXED THAT YOU STUPID-" More swearing followed as she summoned her weapon, hell bent on revenge... But not before she tried to move away from the flames. Sadly, the things in her room could not move.
That thing was thrashing her place.
So it got balls to the face.
