Otto supposed he'd best rest soon too. Company tired him out, exhausted him. It wasn't like he was completely alone anyway, being in an infirmary, many other patients were there in the same room.
"What." He replied in a flat tone, eyeing Eva incredulously. Actually, Molly offered story time too, and he'd accepted. But he'd also been dosed heavily with drugs at the time. "Sure.." He said with a small shrug. "Don't mind me if I fall asleep midway. Kinda tired." He mumbled softly, already sinking into his pillow.

Reaching out, Eva gave the boy an affectionate pat on the forehead. "Sure, sure. Just lie back and listen, okay? Let my generic fairytale lull you to sleep." She smiled at him, and then crossed her arms over her chest, leaning back into her chair. What story should she tell him? She really wasn't any good at coming up with stories on the spot, so it really would have to be a generic fairytale.
In the end, she decided on her favourite--The Little Mermaid. "Okay, I got it. So once upon a time, there was a pretty mermaid who lived in the sea..."
And so she went on to tell her favourite story, a story that was filled with sudden pauses and "HMMM"s as she tried to recall just how the plot went.

Otto nodded softly, letting himself sink into his pillow once more.
His eyes lingered sleepily on Eva as she began her 'tale'. His eyelids grew heavier as he feined interest in the classic story. Personally, he liked the Grimm version better, but who was he to complain? Especially since part way through her tales and Hmms and Umms, he fell asleep. Sound asleep. Not even a gentle nudge urging him from his slumber.

"And so the sisters brought the little mermaid a knife, and--...puppy? Puppy?"
Eva had been concentrating very hard to remember and tell the story, and so she did not realize that the boy had dozed off until she was already nearly finished with the tale. Leaning forward, she noted with a little smile that the blond had indeed fallen into a peaceful sleep, and...awwwww. If this were any other time, Eva doubtlessly would have run off to grab a camera, but for once, she decided to leave the poor boy to his rest.
"Sleep well, Otto. I'm glad you're safe." Careful to keep her voice soft, she carefully tucked his covers around him a little more snugly to ensure that he would stay warm before turning and creeping out of the room.
