Painite couldn't have spoken truer words. She seemed strong enough to stand by her words, so it pleased him to know that she wasn't one of the Negaverers who still held disdain for the Court. The grudge they'd had against Ares had been from before his time, and for any new members to still be affected by it was just a pitiful notion.
"I'd appreciate it, and I'm sure Ares would, too. I've kept my eye out for your Lieutenants," even though some of them didn't deserve it, "And I fully intend to continue the practice. I can't be around to look after all of the Dark Mirror Court all of the time, so any extra effort the Negaverse is willing to chip in is very much appreciated. You seem like a woman who has everything worked out for her, but I'd extend the offer to you. If you ever need anything, you shouldn't hesitate to ask."
He could always decline, if it actually came down to it, but making friends with powerful people was sort of something on his to-do list.

General Painite adored grudges, but within Chaos it was a bit of a waste. At least, that was how she felt now. In any case, she much rather focus all her hatred on the White Moon, the senshi and their dogs. Knights.
Whatever.
"I appreciate that, blondie," she chuckled, moving to pat him hard on the shoulder. She laughed, nodding her head. It was good to make allies, and she would support him and his court as well. She wasn't sure she would ever need anyone's help, but that was probably her ego getting the better of her again.
She did have a bit of an issue with that, but she was a super villain.
"Same goes for you, too."

Remarque certainly wasn't one to ask for help, though he allowed and accepted her offer, regardless. Her pat on his shoulder made him bristle, perhaps because he felt an immediate desire to brush himself off, though he resisted such an urge. "Good to know," he said simply, figuring that was good enough closure on the matter.
"Well. Figuring I was out here for energy, I'd probably best be getting a move on. I don't want to spoil your trap should any knights be wandering around. Thank you, for enlightening me on your stance on the matter. I'll leave you to your business, though, if you ever do find a use for the knights, let me know, won't you?"

Painite liked to touch people, not just because she was a hug fan, but because she knew most others were not. They were tense, especially when they were serious business about the work, which was just fine.
She liked to have fun with it, for all its seriousness.
"Yeah, better get back to the old grind. Wouldn't want to get you in trouble. Look me up some time, and I'll show you a good night!" She laughed at the double meaning, actually not meaning to do that but likely how fortuitously that turned out.
She winked at him.
"I'll let you know. Enjoy yourself! Smile a bit more. I bet it'd look good on you." She waved goodbye and laughed.

Of course he'd look better if he was smiling. His smiles were quite charming. "Will do," he said only, not particularly clarifying what it was he was agreeing to. "Have a good evening," he added, mimicking her wave. For good measure, he even flashed her a smile when he dropped his hand to his side.
He turned from her and shook his head, now more than ever unsure of what to make of the Negaverse. At least she was passionate about her job. A bit crazy, but maybe that kept things interesting. Or maybe she'd just been at the whole thing for too long.
He wondered if she was such a character when she wasn't geared up and working for the Negaverse.
