The things coming from Ullers mouth were horrifying. He did this? The gryphon was actually surprised. For some reason she'd assumed he was good at technology. Uller being technology illiterate was a complete shock to the gryphon. She watched and listened in horror. At the very least her expression had tamed some. "Uller you did this?" She looked at the scaretop, "I don't know if its worth fixing.. Uh. I mean its pretty bad off... by the looks and sounds I mean... " She shook her head at the contraption, "Might be fixable but its a little beyond me in the damage. I don't think I can fix this with out just getting you a completely new scaretop." The poor thing. Tahki would have metaphorically taken the scaretop in the back of the woods and put it out of its misery if it was up to her. "Its okay though don't panic.. might be able to save some of your important files maybe at the very least."

Sighing hard when she said she couldn't fix it, Uller just flopped on his back and stared at the ceiling. Wonderful. "I'll have to spend part of my savings for a new one, then," he said, looking over to her and poked the laptop with his foot. It didn't matter, anyway. He didn't really have anything important on it because he wrote everything down in note books. "I don't have anything worth salvaging. I didn't know how to do much on it, anyway. Do you think you can help me look for one that isn't a piece of crap," he asked, sitting up and shutting the thing down. Sighing, he pushed the scaretop to the side and looked up at Tahki. Clearly she though higher of him than he was and it embarrassed him to disappoint her. Though, if he couldn't figure out a skellyphone why would he figure out a scaretop?

"I could give you the money for uh... doing my part of the quizzle work.. I kind of left you high and dry there. " She paused and quickly added, " It would make me feel better." Tahki still felt horrible about leaving Uller behind with out so much as a good bye. Guilt had a bad habit of clinging to the gryphon. "Sides scaretops aren't too pricey these days. Most tech geeks like the tombletes. I don't know why. I think they are over rated," Tahki gave Uller a serious look. Scruffums by this time had found the flat on his back Uller and was giving his feet kisses. The scruffle happily wagged his tail. Tahki continued to look very seriously at Uller. "We'll need to go in to town. But first... What do you want to do with that scaretop?"

"Don't... worry about that. The Quizzle's no problem," he said seriously, looking up at her and sighed. He yelped when his foot was kissed by the mini and pulled them away, sitting up and sitting indian style. "Don't lick fee, that's just weird," he said, wrinkling his nose and chuckling. Blizzard did the same to him if he didn't put the pet in it's cage at night. As to what to do with the scaretop, he sighed. "I don't know. We can give it to your minis to chew on," He said seriously, before rolling his eyes. "No, that would hurt them more than anything. We just trash it, I guess. Or give it to some tech geeks for scraps?" No one would use it for scraps, though. Rubbing his face, he toed at it a little before looking up at Tahki. "I'm not going to get a tomblete if I can have a scaretop. If the stupid thing works right, I can play some decent games on it, I think."

Uller told her not to worry about it. But the gryphon couldn't help but feel bad. "Its not trouble," She assured him with a small smile. Tahki had some how acquired a bat during this conversation. There was a slight gleam in her eyes that said she had a better idea of what they could do with the scaretop. "If you wanted .. I mean.. We could beat it to death~" The gleam was there bright like a predators eye. Tahki didn't mind beating the tar out of unfit electronics... or anything that wasn't really a being with a working thought process.

Turning his attention away from the scaretop he blinked when she suddenly had a bat in her hands. Stepping away from it and then moving behind her, Uller swallowed. "If.. You really want to, I guess. It is a piece of crap, right?" he asked. He sat on the bed, waiting to see exactly how much more damage she could do to the thing that was practically falling apart anyway. "You'll repay me by teaching me how to use a scaretop and skellyphone. ....And play these video games everyone keeps talking about." He didn't even watch any T.V. shows. That's how little he knew about technology. Huffing a little bit, he looked to the bat and then to the scaretop, just waiting for the first whack. Chobi_Chocobo He might be totally checking her out from behind. Maybe.

Tahki wanted to take the first swing. Beating inanimate objects with a bat was always pretty appealing. However, instead, Tahki extended the bat to Uller. She gave him a small smile.
"It is your's to beat first. If you wanna that is. I mean," She flustered about with her free hand and grasped her headphones. "I .. uh... Just here." Uller was presented with a bat. May I say that bat was the coolest bat that I have ever seen.

Uller took the bat when it was offered and blinked a little. His ears flicked a bit as he looked at the scaretop and then just rubbed his face. He'd actually never used a bat before, but he figured it couldn't be too hard, right? So, he moved closer to it and swung the bat directly down.
However, he had his eyes closed and he missed and nearly got his own foot! He yelped at that and flushed in embarrassment before giving her the bat back and sat on her bed. "Sorry. I've never use done before," he said quickly, wanting to just sink in the ground right now.

Tahki gladly took the bag. She stared at the scaretop. Glared at it even. There was an intense moment for just a short while and then Tahki swung so hard and so fast she missed and managed to put a nice dent in the wall.
" ...." Tahki was silent and flush red in the face. She through the bat to the side and folded her arms behind her back like nothing had just happened. Her gaze went upward like she was awaiting some kind of divine judgement to happen from the schools staff at any moment.
Nothing happened. Tahki detensed a little.

When Tahki dented the wall, Uller jumped yet again and let out a whimper. Surly they were going to get in some kind of trouble for this. Sighing as he took the bat, he rubbed his face and looked down at the scaretop that had managed to come out unscathed from this. It was like a Scaretop from hell, sent to taunt them both!
Gripping the bat tightly, Uller swung again and ended up whacking himself in the shin, instead. He dropped the bat and grabbed his leg. After hopping about a few times, he whimpered and managed to trip over the scaretop and fell the the ground, landing on his hands and knees.
Well, what a way to act. Stupid scaretop. Instead, he punched the thing with his fist and sat on the floor up right, feeling the pain in his leg. "Good think I don't need ice," he hissed out through his teeth.

Tahki made a concerned face at Uller. He said something about needing ice which Tahki would have laughed at if she wasn't so concerned about his well being. In a fit of rage the gryphon grabbed the bat and the scaretop and tossed them both out the window.
That would show them to -insert witty ice pun here- Uller.

He was dumbfounded as she chucked his scaretop and the bat out the window. He didn't know if that would kill the damn thing already. Getting up, he peeked out the window to see how it fared and saw it scattered in a few ... a lot of pieces. He wasn't going to lie about that. Sighing heavily, he shook his head and looked back at Tahki.
"Well.. That's how you kill a scaretop, I take it?"

Tahki stared out his window at the thing in a million pieces. She waited for an explosion but there was none. Her ears wilted a little in disappointment.
"Yeah. Thats how you do it." Cept with more explosions next time.
"BUT HEY! We did it?" They had defeated the thing more sturdy then that of a nokia phone. That was not something to take lightly. Tahki couldn't help but feel a swell of pride.

He cleared his throat and sighed before pulling up his pants leg. There was a purple bruise there already and he just sighed a little more. Well, at least it didn't look bad with his darker blue skin tone on his legs. "Yes, we did! But... What do we do now? How do we go about ordering one that is not a scaretop?" He was interested in one like Tahki's. One that he couldn't carry around with him, but that looked like it could take more of a beating than his old one did.
Well, it did until today.

The bruise had yet to be really all that noticed by Tahki but that didn't mean she was not concerned from past events. That looked like it really hurt to hit ones self in the shin. Uller wasn't talking about it so she kept her concern mostly to her self.
"You mean like a desktop?" Tahki scratched her chin, "Or a tomblet?"
