Tsui remained as she were, standing and keeping whatever sense it was that felt for the Chaos aura on high alert. She felt a few of them nearby, and she was certain that Benitoite had sensed them as well. Which meant that she had his undivided attention, and for now, that was enough for Tsui to not seek them out. For now. Him being on edge about their safety was enough to appease her for the time being, but she didn't let him see that.

She had no comment about the human war in the middle east; personally, she thought both sides were overreacting to their differences as well, but at least that war didn't start over some stupid love story gone wrong. But, neither one were here to discuss such manners, so Tsui let it drop. However, the other part about doing nothing? She couldn't do that.

"I can't do nothing. Maybe if I was never awakened I could, but then I'm sure I would have just been one of your many victims..." Tsui said, though it was a partial lie. She WAS one of his victims, but for the sake of her civilian identity, she couldn't bring it up. "Now that I have this power, and the ability to defend others from harm, telling me to sit this one out is impossible. Especially after that ambush... you're not naive, Beni; surely you don't expect all of us Senshi to lose our will to fight after an attack like that. Maybe some did, but others, like me, have only gained a reason to fight back. And you have no one to blame besides yourselves."

Her senses caught wind of a low-leveled member of Chaos, likely a youma, and though Tsui looked in that direction, she didn't move towards it yet. Instead, she was considering that last part. Who woke up first? Chaos, or Order? A very legitimate question, Tsui had to admit, but one that did not interest her in the least. At least, that's what she wanted to show, as she gave a shrug. "Who knows who woke up first? And who cares? It's like asking which came first, the chicken or the egg; really just depends on who you ask, or even who was there."

Tsui didn't know, nor did she pretend to know, and, just to see how far she could push the issue, she took a step in the direction of where the youma was, but only a single step and nothing more. "But even if you had someone that was there, could you really trust them? Who's to say that there's not some eviler third party involved in all this mess? Playing both sides against each other, just for kicks?"

He knew youma were near, how could he not? But he didn't give any indication of such and why should he? It wasn't anything unusual. He had no idea she might attack them or that she thought she had him on edge, as he on edge?

"One of my victims? Perhaps but what would make you think that? Out of how many people are in this city. You think we would run in to each other?" He asked while he moved toward the senshi of tigers. His pace slow, deliberately so, and even. Each boot hit heels first than toes. "You seem to think we'd run into each other - something I highly doubt. I don't see us as having similar interests nor being involved in the same social circles." Though one never knew for sure. Given all he knew about her was limited to this her and not her civilian life. What senshi would think him a painter or that he had a greenhouse full of plants?

"No, you are correct. I am not that naive, though I'd use the term stupid. I am not that stupid. And if a few have turned away from this war due to out attack than good. A few less to deal with." Though he doubted such was the case, senshi seemed stubborn and dedicated though they lacked in organization, he said none of this at the moment.

"The egg would have come first. The chicken could not have possible come first. If you think about it logically at least." He answered without thought as he spoke, ignoring her comment about not caring who awoke first. Maybe she would think on that later. But he couldn't help but jump to the other question, it had been something brought up once in a biology class. He could still remember the logical answer his teacher had given to the class, it really was the only thing which had made sense.

"If, and this is a big if, there is a third party I pity them when they are found out. I don't doubt that our side would turn on them." If someone thought they were going to play both sides like marionettes and were found they should find a safe place to hide. He knew he'd be after them without thought.

"Mmmm...are you looking to leave? Quite rude really if you are, after all we are talking...are we not?" He mused softly while tilting his head just a bit.

Once again, Tsui wanted to explain to Benitoite that it was she that he had danced with and likely drained her energy that night of the Valentine's Day rave, how she was the one dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and therefor making her completely unforgettable to even the dimmest of memories. How COULD one forget someone dressed as Dorothy at a completely unrelated event? But again, Tsui could not tell him everything, and it took her longer than she thought to reply. "I was a civilian once, you know. Let's just say I had a run in with a Negaverse officer, before I knew what one was, and after the... encounter... I felt extremely weak. As though my energy was drained."

That's all she felt safe to say. Anything more and he might realize her civilian identity, and that would not do Tsui any good here. So, she was grateful to move onto a different topic, even if it was one poking a hole in her flaw, though she was relieved to hear that he didn't completely hand wave her theory on a third party. She wasn't even all that serious about it, but it was still a comforting thought. "Trust me, if there is a third party out there that's messing with both of us, then I will gladly join you in seeking them out and putting an end to them. Then maybe there can be peace between us, but as you said, that's a big if."

He had stepped closer, and in returning, she had taken a step back. Not in retreat, but in defiance, and she made sure to not turn her back on him. They may have been talking, but her ordeals with the ambush had only served to make Tsui more weary about trusting any member of the Chaos faction. "And what if I am leaving? What if I'm tired and just want to go back to my nice, air conditioned room? Slip out of my fuku and into something a little more comfortable? Are you so paranoid about me skipping out on our little chat to go youma hunting that I can't even go home?"

She might have been pushing her luck, but he had not summoned his spear yet. She kept her smile sweet and innocent, which clearly meant that she was up to something.

"I see, how interesting. Though I find it perhaps more amusing that you say you once were a civilian. Has that changed? Are you no longer a civilian?" He was still a civilian, just not all the time. He knew he could be grabbed be a fellow agent of chaos and drained some day, or night, that he was out as a civilian and not powered up. Hadn't that been how he'd met Fluorite a year ago? Indeed, it had been.

"I consider anything possible and nothing too outlandish. That I have learned and I believe both sides can, or should, be able to agree on. Anything is possible. So while it is a big if it is still a possibility." And not one he liked the idea of. He would gladly go after any third party which might be playing with both sides and playing them against each other. He certainly hoped that was not the case though, but as he'd said anything was possible. As much as he wished certain things were not possible, such as becoming a cat.

"I'm not paranoid it's called lack of trust. Not with your look, your words, and the direction you stepped." Even if that was the direction her home was in. Was he really going to have to fight her in this heat? He really didn't like that idea one bit but he had the feeling that their talk was headed that way, and fast. Yes, when he got home a cold bath would be needed.

"Yeah, I was once a civilian that didn't know any better. Now, I'm a Senshi of the White Moon Court, and I can no longer pretend to stand by and do nothing when I know that there's a great evil out there," Tsui said, initially regretting her words and how well she had twisted them around, but her response had felt natural to her. Proper. Like it was the right answer. She could no longer be Gwendolyn Caspian, sophomore of St. Mags and student guilty of the occasional truancy. Perhaps that was the mask, and Sailor Tsui was the real deal. It was a topic for later, that was for sure, as she could tell that her backing away was working in driving his suspicions up. The tension in the air was thick, and yet, Tsui felt it was natural, like it was meant to be this way.

Maybe there simply couldn't be ongoing peace between the warring factions. What he wanted her to do simply could not be done, no matter the risk or the outcome, and her smile had faded into a more serious gesture, her golden eyes more confident and resolute. She knew she couldn't beat him in the battle of wits, and maybe she couldn't even beat him in a straight up fight. But she would not allow innocents to be harmed by youma, and she reflected this by not merely taking another step back, but practically leaping several feet away, putting some distance between them to make her stance known. "Then we have an understanding that neither one of us can trust each other. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a feeling that I'm one youma away from earning my stripes, so it's been nice chatting with you."

And with that, she was off, running towards the edge of the building and leaping off onto the next building. She knew that he'd follow, despite the heat, if he truly suspected her to be hunting down that youma. At least this would now free the citizens or any other White Moon Senshi or knight from any possible harm from one Negaverse general, in the very least.

I see, so you've given up your civilian life, have you?" He questioned with a shake of his head. "I, personally, have not. I do try and keep these two lives separate so I can enjoy both. So I am still a civilian." He spoke, a little smile in place. He tried, and sometimes failed, to keep the two lives separate. It was not an easy task to do, sometimes it was impossible really. Being turned into a cat or having broken ribs, or other injuries, made things impossible really. But he tried his best, and did a fairly decent job he thought. Both were him, equally, just...like some super hero perhaps? Not a way he'd looked at it before but it was a good way to think of it.

"Earning your stripes...how quaint a comment." He spoke and that little smile turned to a smirk. "I'm afraid though that I simply cannot allow you to do what you please, at least not so easily." The words came easily as before he was taking off after her. He might have short legs but he was fast, from experience, and leaping from one roof to another wasn't all that hard any more.

As he ran he called his weapon as he hoped to catch up to her and put his weapon to good use.

So the night would not be a total waste after all, Tsui thought, not even bothering looking back to see if Benitoite was following her as she ran along the rooftops and jumping over to the next building. She didn't need to. She knew that he would follow, if he was true to his word about protecting the youma. That, and the sound of boots hitting the rooftop behind her and catching up was enough of an indication that he was in hot pursuit, and that only made Tsui run all the faster. She may not have been a track or marathon runner, but she was confident enough in her abilities that she felt she was more than able to outrun him.

Perhaps she could have, even, had she decided not to run her mouth while in the middle of a chase. "You know... had you followed your own advice and did nothing... you wouldn't have so many Senshi and Knights rallying up to fight you."

She threw back taunts and and chance she could, glancing back periodically just to get a good grasp of how much distance was between them and when she might have to stop her mad dash and fight instead. All the while, she held nothing back, verbally, at least, as they drew closer and closer to the youma's signature. "A lot of us didn't wanna fight. Were willing to do nothing. Then you guys attacked, and blew that chance up... just like the youma blew their chance those many, many years ago!"

She had no idea how far she had really traveled, but she was starting to feel the effects of the run, and the taunts certainly didn't help either. And while she may have been fast on her feet, even with her increased energy as a Senshi, she was starting to feel herself slow down. She was not an endurance athlete... were tigers even meant for endurance? She didn't stop, even as she barely made the jump into the shorter building and rolled to prevent an injury, and the youma was close. So close. The splashing water from the other side of the building indicated a swimming pool; perhaps it was an aquatic youma? Tsui took one last glance behind her to see where Benitoite was, before dashing towards it. All she needed was a good strike; she couldn't imagine the look on his face when she dusted a youma in front of his very eyes, though she could imagine it'd be similar, if not the same, as hers when he ripped that starseed out of that senshi... yet, where was he?

For the most part he ignored her comments, focusing on catching up to her. Benitoite worked on closing the distance between himself and the senshi he was following. He wasn't going to just allow her to keep ahead of him without trying to catch her, he wasn't going to give up and let her achieve her goal.

"Some how I don't believe that. I assume a few didn't want to fight, but I believe the majority did and do." He stated as he continued his pursuit over her. Jumping from one roof top to another he wondered if he jabbed his spear out he could reach her, doubtful. And it could put the breaks on his running in a less than favorable manner if he did hit her. "Their chance is not blown, so long as they fight with us. They still have their chance." He shouted at her back as he picked up speed. Should he even dare to teleport right in front of her? No doubt she'd smash right into him, no time for her to stop and such.

Where he was was in the middle of teleporting. He'd seen her dive for the lower building and decided to surprise her in a rather good way, or so he thought anyway. Teleporting down right behind her as he swung his spear at her. "So sorry for vanishing for a moment, I didn't care to make the jump down." Not that he couldn't he simply wanted to surprise her with this move. He too heard the splashing and hoped the youma was smart enough to leave, or did he need to tell it to leave?

Tsui had many more taunts saved up for the general, was willing to spoil a few segments of the meeting even if it meant to help her case, and yet, he seemed to have spared her fromt he dishonor of revealing any big secrets or names when he had pulled his little trick. Tsui had never seen such a power before and she felt like someone among her White Moon Court had completely forgotten to remind her of this one very important fact.

Had someone warned her of this feat that Negaverse officers were capable of, maybe she could have prepared accordingly and have had the wit to avoid the spear's blade, but be as it may, Benitoite's spear had hit its mark, cutting into her side and throwing her trajectory completely off. She had hit the flooring of the rooftop and rolled so fast and hard that she had practically bounced and slammed her back against the side. The youma that she had been hunting was long since gone from her mind, as she brought an arm over her bleeding wound and managed to sit herself up. Benitoite meant serious business, and she had seen him kill before, mercilessly so. This was not how she was planning on dying this evening... not to him.

She glanced over the side to see what fate awaited her below. It was a swimming pool to a hotel, and from this angle, she could see the youma that was now alerted to their presence, peering up at them. She had two choices; take her chances up here with a general that was most definitely out of her league, whom she knew would kill her without a moment's hesitation, or take her chances with the youma that eagerly waited to drain her energy below. Between the two, she'd take the youma for now.

"J-just so you know... I was one of them... the one willing to not fight, just let you be... assuming you never hurt anyone. But... you changed that. And I'll never forget... or forgive you. One day, we'll be on equal footing, Beni..." She spat, pulling herself onto the sidings and throwing herself off before he had the chance to drive his spear in for the killing blow or take her starseed, and she gave a shout as she plunged herself into the pool below, gaping wound and all. "Until then... Beni!"

This was crazy, and she knew it would hurt, but Tsui refused, absolutely refused to allow him the honor of ending her life. Better to give that honor to a subhuman youma than to him.

Watching the senshi hit the ground, her plans for the moment put on hold, he made his way toward her even as she rolled along the roof top. With the threat to the youma made, and her right here, he was as serious as he could get. He would kill, it wasn't something which affected him as it had months ago. Months ago killing had brought nightmares, now it had no such hold on him, now though those nightmares were things of the past.

Standing over her, looming, she could perhaps call him death as he was quite possibly just that. He had no intentions of letting her live. Raising his weapon he readied for the final blow, it really wasn't all that hard. For a moment he wanted to taunt her about how easy it was, how out of her league she was and how a simple mistake was costing her the chance to make up for this slight. But he didn't he let her have her last words, he'd permit that.

What he didn't expect was how she ended her little speech, perhaps she had been unwilling to fight but she was a senshi and so long as she remained on that side she was the enemy, he watched her throw herself from the roof top and into the pool. Stepping forward, one boot landing on the edge of the roof he peered over and watched her smack into the waters surface. "Meet again..." Sniffing he shook his head slightly, as if that would happen. She was likely dead from that landing, and if not dead than some form of paralyzed vegetable. Casting his eyes down to the youma then he nodded once. "If she lives finish her, she's no innocent civilian." Using the foot that was on the edge of the roof he pushed off and spun round to walk back the way he'd come, his weapon vanishing.

"One more senshi dead." Came the soft musing.
