"Okay..." She still sounded and looked a bit hesitant, but she set Pippin down on the pavement and nodded to herself, trying to beef up some determination. Determination!! To steal from hapless civilians... No, okay, that really wasn't going to work. Resigned to being, well, resigned about this whole deal, she snuck (as stealthily as she could) over to the door, holding it open so he could slip in and grab his shiny.

And then came the big question - did she go in too? No, that'd probably be a bad idea; she could just see the headlines now, 'terrorist suspected in jewelry heist!'. But on the other hand, wasn't a senshi going over to randomly open the door to a jewelry store and one of their watches disappearing at the same time quite conspicuous, as well?

In the end she resolved to simply stand there, holding the door and politely smiling at anyone who sent her a wondering (or, in a few cases, mistrustful) glance while she waited for Pippin to come back. Hopefully he had it well in hand; well... in paw, as it were, but whatever - she had to trust him on this one and so she was going to.

Vanadis had tried very hard not to stare at Pippin as he did his thing, in fear that it would give them (and their nefarious plan) away to the people inside the store. As such, she'd probably have missed the little cat streaking out the door if it hadn't been for his discreet call that she follow him. Trying not to look suspicious, she cleared her throat (was that suspicious? Random people in doors clearing their throat randomly, oh god, it was totally suspicious wasn't it) and let go of the door before moving to follow the little guardian cat. As un-suspiciously as possible.

"I, I," she paused and threw a look at the mouth of the alley, "I think we got away!" She couldn't help the slightly jubilant sound of her voice, nor the bright beam of a smile on her face. Seriously, she'd been envisioning spending the rest of her life stuck in senshi-form in some maximum security prison somewhere. "Are you OK? Did everything go OK?" She quickly scanned him with a look, trying to see if he'd gotten hurt or anything like that. You never know, a lot of people get hurt in jewelry store robberies! Although this was less 'robbery' and more 'thievery', if she had to wager a guess. But still, just in case!
