"Nah, Neil's not an FMC member," Roch said to Amphi, draping an arm over her shoulders. "I don't even know if he knows how to play an instrument," he admitted. "But then again, I never asked. That I can remember."
Then he dug in his pocket, only to come up empty. "Sorry, Ren, all out," he said, pulling his sucker out of his mouth and licking it. "We ain't all here yet, though. So who wants to entertain us while we wait?"

Neil tensed feeling an arm around him. Slowly he looked up and over to see a winged feline like creature. It was as if this guy knew him which Neil was pretty sure he did not. This confused the canine. He was a little unsure of what to do or say. And then he introduced him self. Neil froze. Slowly he ducked his head down and out of the friend grip. Wasn't anything personal as much as he didn't like another boil or even ghoul hanging off of him. The gimblewolf tensed and took a few steps back. "Neil." He offered sounding a little choked. The surprise was a great one. Stiffly he offered his hand out for a shake instead. It seemed like the polite thing to do after all. His canine ears couldn't help but pick up battle of the band talk. Namely from Roch about whether he could play an instrument. "Anything keyed." He shot an intense stare/glare at the purple haired reaper. "Anything Keyed and I can play it. Not that its like a big deal or anything." The hand remained out stretched.

TG came late, and walked slowly to a chair that wouldn't otherwise consume him. In a puff of smoke, he reappeared in the chair, saving his dignity from having to crawl up, and sat down, tail curling and uncurling. He was only here because of Danny anyways.

So Neil played the piano? Like Mitsu! How fun. "You should play for us sometime! And then come be in the club..." she said eagerly. Always getting people to join. Always and forever.
Danny lit up when TG came in. "TG! she shouted ecstatically, letting go of Amphi to crouch down and offer her arms to the little imp. "Hello friend!"

Was this everyone that was going to sign up? Roch looked blankly at the tiny group, wondering if he should wait a little longer to see if anyone else showed up before talking. He didn't see Xiu or Mitsu--then again, he couldn't really see either of them joining the battle of the bands, anyway, he thought. Demi wasn't there, either... no surprise...
Oh well, he thought, he'd wait a little longer before making his announcements. For now he was watching the students that weren't hobs, wondering if one of them might want his job. He figured anyone could probably pull it off better than he had.

Chest hugs. TG liked Danny for her friendly nature, not to mention she was warm. Fire demons. Gotta love em.
Reaching out, he happily hugged her, making sure to press nicely up against her chest. Whoever invented the bikini top needed a medal.

When it became clear that no one else was going to show up, Roch lifted his pinkies to his lips, letting out a sharp whistle to get their attention. "Hey! Listen up, guys, cuz this shouldn't take too long. First off, I'm gonna throw a Battle of the Bands. You probably saw the fliers around. Try and get a three person group together, you'll need a singer, a guitarist and a drummer--or people pretendin' to be, hell if I care. Y'got a week to get ready for it. Good luck. For those that can't get a band, we're going to be running a booth out in front of the stadiums. You're more than welcome to help run it--or set up another one for a different club. "Secondly!" he said, before they could reply to the first statement. "I'm a hob. I'm going to be graduating after this year. And a guy that's no longer in school can't run a club. So here's the question-- do any of you want to take over as the club president, or know someone that will? If not, I guess we can let the club die or run without a president, but that would sort of suck," he said with a shrug. Danny's eyes lit up as Roch talked about Battle of the Bands. She knew the basic details, but this was the first time really hearing about it. Of course when he mentioned drums her mind went to Rikki, and when he mentioned bands, her mind went to Roch. She got a little sad when he said singer- Amphi filled that slot in her mind.
"So Roch, you're gonna be on my team right?" she said with a smile, letting go of TG and patting his head. "Rikki can play drums and then I'll sing!" She looked over at Amphi. Oh wait. "Wait, can we have four people? Amphi can play too!"
Essentially breaking every rule ever.

"I ain't gonna be in a band, Danny," Roch said. "I got t'run the thing, y'know? And bands are three people only, so no fourth. Which, eh, there might be a melee at the end, and three per team is plenty."
Then he turned to the rest there. "Like I said, if you want to be the next president, or you know someone that'd make a good one, y'gotta tell me soon. I don't want the club to go completely under once I'm gone, but eh, it might."
What a great attitude, Roch, seriously OTL.

Danny frowned. She wanted to play with Roch! But rules were rules. If Roch said no, Roch said no. She had to learn that eventually, right.
"Oh and uh. Same for Vice. It's a lot easier than Pre- err. It has lots of um ... duties ..." Did she laugh at the word duties? Maybe. "But its fun!"
With that she went back to hugging Amphi.
Because yes.

Rikki stumbled in far too late to even really understand what was happening, but he heard something about next presidents and clubs going under or some s**t. He grinned at his purple haired best friend as if he'd been there the entire time as he deposited himself near his ghoulfriend. "You're finally admitting you're not a good president? Don't worry, buddy, I'll step up. We'll get this club in shape in no time."

"Deal," Roch said cheerfully. "Rikki will be president after I graduate!" And since that settled everything (not really) he headed for the snacks. He'd told them what he needed to tell them, they could chat for however long they wanted to.
But the meeting was officially done. Maybe he DID suck as a president. Oh well.
