Group 5: Forward Guard-- Ok, it's finally ded.

All around him the pokemon of the other trainers were getting poisoned and beat up by this over-stuffed ball of brown fur who was somehow at the same time managing to dodge the others' attacks. It wasn't even a one-on-one fight, and the guard pokemon was still winning! The nerve of that thing, thinking it was all high and mighty just because it had jewelry... It just made Shawn want to show it its place all the more. He whacked the little beast while side-stepping its attacks, feeling more confident now. It was so much smaller than him. Pokemon or not, it didn't seem particularly powerful with its attacks, either. He just needed to avoid that poison. It was the least he could do to risk himself after the other trainers and their pokemon had done the same for him when he was afraid and next to helpless.

Shawn: 85 HP
Guard Bidoof: 130 HP

Zeke winced when the Bidoof had hit his golbat, and he promised himself that he'd make it up to Ialu, somehow. He was never supposed to be a fighter, but there hadn't been much of a choice.

"You're doing great." he said, cheering. "Now, use Wing attack!"

Hp:55 hp (Poisoned)
Bidoof: 130

Xander looked at Semadar and bit his bottom lip in thought. Heal now or next time? They still had a ways to go before the Bidoof would faint... "Sem?"

The Zubat squeaked and flew around the blonds head to show he was ok for now then flew at the Bidoof with a Bite attack.

Semadar: 65 *Poisoned*

Midboss: 120  

[Neko_no_Yami]

Cas winced from the poisoned wound but carried on with the battle. "Raichu!"
He landed a hit, but the Bidoof jabbed at him again. Joke's on it! He's already poisoned!
Jeo watched calculatingly from behind, pondering when to throw a berry to her pokemon.

HP: 75*poisoned*

Doofhat: 110  

[Hiker Kohl]

Kohl sat down against a crumbling stone block, lowering the swaddled egg beside her. "You can do better than that! Bite and shock it at the same time or something!" The pup looked back at her rare command and ran at the thing, his natural static charge grew, making his coarse fur stand on end. At the last moment it gathered in his fangs, discarding as they made contact. The mid-boss merely grunted and scrabbled at the other Pokemon in annoyance.

Kohl wondered at the strength of the thing. Four pokemon and a scrappy youth with a sturdy life preserver were beating on it and it kept going. Maybe it could hold it's own against Taka. She chuckles out loud imagining his furry face if a mere bidoof stood up to him.

Well, it was certainly stronger than the bidoofs in the temple proper, but with all of them attacking, it couldn't be that much longer until it faints, right?

"Come on Ialu. Don't let the miss get you down." The boy thought for a moment. What attack would work best? "Use Bite."

Hp: 50 (Poisoned)

Hatdoof: 90

It was probably a good thing this kid's specialty was running away. After dodging countless poison and ghost-type pokemon (not to mention a few back-alley thugs every now and then) He had become rather skilled at evading, dodging, running, and retreating in the name of self-preservation. Seemed like the skills had paid off. He leapt forward, attacked, and stepped back. It was like playing Whack-a-Bidoof.

Shawn: 75 HP
Guard Bidoof: 80 HP

Xander looked at Semadar then with a sigh nodded towards the Bidoof. At least he had a few Enigma Berry's just in case he got too low in health. "Try Leech Life!"

Semadar: 50 *Poisoned*

Midboss: 80

Jeo decided to wait on healing a bit more and let Cas have free reign with his attacks. "Come on boy, you can do this." she said to herself.
The bidoof again sent it's poison attack at Cas, but it still had no extra effect. Cas smiled ruefully as he sent a Thunderpunch straight towards it's face. "RAI!"

HP: 65*poisoned*

Superdoof: 60  

[Hiker Kohl]

She nodded. "Good, keep doing that." Kohl puled out some trail mix to munch on. Worf and the bidoof traded blows evenly. This looked like it could take a few more rounds.

HP: 60
Bidoof: 50hp

Why wouldn't the thing just faint already? They already had it beat. Shawn stepped in for another hit-and-run attack with his floatation device. Hopefully the others would finish it off soon.

Shawn: 75 HP
Guard Bidoof: 30 HP

They were getting closer to having defeated it, he could just tell, and he grinned brightly. This was more fun that he had thought battling would be, though he knew he'd never ask the golbat to do it again.

"Alright, Ialu. Use Poison Fang!"

Hatdoof: 20

So close, just a little more and the Bidoof would be down. "Sem! Use Bite." Xander said after a moment's hesitation. The Zubat had enough health for this thankfully.

Semadar: 35 *Poisoned*

Midboss: 10  

[Neko_no_Yami]

The bidoof was on it's last legs. Casanova stepped back and fired a Thunderbolt in the determined pokemon's direction. "CHUUUU!"
The guard went down, but not before it gave a scathing glare to it's opponents.

HP: 55*poisoned*

Middoof: 0

Shawn needs to edit in all his RP replies before I roll. If they are not edited in by the deadline, the mini-boss is still considered alive.

If the deadline comes close, and Shawn has not edited the RP in, the rest of the group can continue to hack at the mini-boss, while neglecting Shawn's posts. The mini-boss still has 70 HP, if G5 is choosing to do this.

Raven's post here should have 170 HP, so the mini-boss still has 10 HP, at this point, if Shawn edits all his posts in.
