"Nah. It healed up pretty quick actually. Kinda surprised. Just a scar now. Nothing more," Deryk assured. He really had been surprised at how quickly his wounds had closed up. It wasn't super fast or anything, but given the nature of the injuries, he expected it to take longer still. Then again, he had recovered pretty quick from that near death experience with the black dog too.
"Seems like I recover more quickly ever since coming here. Wonder if it's got something to do with Tooley."

Molly smiled a bit, looking for her fork, and furrowing her brows when she didn’t find it.
…Oh well.
Fingers it was. Molly started to finish off her scrambled eggs with her fingers, nodding her head at his words, her curls bouncing. “Well, I’m glad to hear that it healed quickly!” At his speculation though, the Mist trainee paused. Healing faster…because of their weapons? “…You know…” She started off. “…I was talking to Jude while we were all still in the underground base…and he said the same thing…! Except well, you know…about his weapon…” Molly then hushed, and leaned in close to Deryk, as if she was speaking about something that needed to be kept hush-hush. “Because Caelius broke his fingers on one of his hands!” She looked incredibly dismayed. “But he said they healed really quick…so Deryk…becareful with your hands around Caelius, okay!?”
