She was still staring at the captain as Roch walked by, paying for the passes. And still staring as he called out to her..once..twice...She looked up at him startled and then nodded.
Goodbye Captain! She waved to the cardboard version of her favorite character and then as they entered, stared in awe. The water park was large, giant, HUGE! Ships were the main decoration, pipes, slides, water fountains built in every single one of them. There was huge pools, some deep, some meant for scarelings!
The mermaid was just staring at all the exciting things when she watched a employee walk by. He was dressed up as a pirate and reminded her of the crew from the movie! She looked everywhere but....there was no Captain Jack. Oh well!Quote: Where do you want to go first Roch!?!?

"Let's put our stuff in one of the cubbies," he said, tugging her along to the lockers in question to lock away his granddad's credit card and his bag of seeds and keys. Then he looked at her. "Got anything you don't want stolen?" he asked as Riff crawled out of his pocket, fluttering back onto his shoulder.

She stuffed anything she wanted in the cubby with his, including her towel and then took off to the pool. Walking FAST instead of running. Running around pools was prohibited after all. She leaned down, gently swirling her finger in the water and smiling. She wanted to dive in!
SHE WANTEEEEEEEEED TO RIDE THE SLIDEEEEEEEEEEEE.

How do you get a mermaid up the stairs to ride the slides? You DON'T let them dive in. Roch grabbed her from behind, hauling her away from the water with a laugh. "Slides first, blue eyes! Otherwise I'll be carryin' you up the stairs," he teased.
Meanwhile a young-ish would be star was making his way out of the dressing room, rigged out for his day job as an undead captain--there to entertain the kiddies and keep them busy while their mothers lounged on tubes in the dead river. He stepped into the light of the waterpark just in time to see a rough looking boil haul an adorable little ghoul away from the water. Well, that was rude!

Amphi made grabby hands at the water and then smiled up at her boilfriend.
She wiggled in his grasp, silently laughing at the idea of slides! and then turned her head.
It was a second, a mere second of eye contact and Amphi still in Roch's arms. Over on the otherside of the pool was none other then Captain Jack sparrow. Her face heated as she held the Captain's gaze.
A mermaid entranced was not a good thing. She seemed to go lax in the boil's arms, never breaking gaze with the Captain. Would he come steal her? Make her ride on the ship in search of treasure and gold that was cursed? Or maybe search for gods and goddess that ruled the sea. The fountain of youth. Her head spun with all the ridiculous ideas.

"What's that you say, you want me to carry you up the stairs, even with legs?" Roch asked, pulling her over his shoulder and starting for the stairs, since she'd just sort of... stopped on him. He was amused, and completely unaware of the problem at hand.
Those eyes... Jack found himself staring into big blue eyes, completely not noticing the children that had flocked to him--until the ghoul got dragged away and one of the scarelings kicked him in the shin. "Ouch! Bloody hell!" he cursed, making them all laugh. But it had hurt!!

Amphi was so stunned by the eye contact with Captain, she didn't even have time to protest as her boilfriend picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. She shook and then stilled again as her hands slid over his bare skin, balancing herself so she didn't fall and flushing as she was feeling his back.
Fortunately she missed the shin kick for Jack, unfortunately she was being carted away and that made her sad for a second. She waved goodbye to the captain and then proceeded to look at the ground.
She was slung over Roch's shoulder. Why was she on Roch's shoulder....at least it wasn't bad but...she stared at the curve of his butt, sliding her hands down farther and poked it. AHAHAHA Take that Roch! She laughed silently at her devilish ways!

"Hey now!" Roch complained. "What's with the butt poking? You sayin' you wanna take the stairs on your own, huh?" he said, bringing her down over his shoulder and sliding her down his body so she was on her feet. "You just lost your free ride, blue eyes," he said, giving her a wicked grin of his own.
"Now up those stairs!"

She giggled silently again and then wiggled as she slid down him again, hands resting on his chest as she looked up. There was a small pout moment and it was quickly dispelled by her pinch of his tiny non existent chub on his stomach.
Turning around, she wiggled her bottom at him and then flew up the stairs. Ear fins perked as she listened to the instructions for riding the slide. The water that was shooting down made her hesitate though, looking over at Roch and then pointing at it. Would he be okay with her mermaid form taking over even in that moment?
Hesitation could leave a time frame of something else happening instead though...Hmmm.

There was a shallow pool for them to sit in at the top of the slide and he dropped down, spreading his legs. "Sit here, we'll go down like this," he told her, motioning to the spot. It wasn't as if she wasn't constantly between his legs or on his lap--
In a non-sexual way, of course.

She bit her lip as she looked from Roch to the instructor and then back to Roch and nodded. Sliding in, she sat between his legs and closed her eyes as her body shifted, scales replacing bikini while tail replaced legs. When nothing happened inside her core though, she let out a small breath and looked up at Roch expectantly, almost excited.
"Well look at that kids, a mermaid riding in the slides. We don't get enough of you guys in here usually." She blinked as she looked at the other people gathered behind waiting their turn, the instructor smiling down at her. Little scarelings pointed at her tail and mentioned either that it was weird or it was pretty. Children were often bluntly honest after all. Flushing with embarrassment she buried her head in Roch's chest and urged him to push them down the slide. She couldn't handle the intense stare at her form!

"This one's mine," Roch said before shoving them both forward, down to the wildly twisting and turning slide that covered half of the water park. It was AWESOME! He was torn between hugging her and shoving his arms in the air--so he compromised, keeping one arm around her waist and the other up.

Amphi kept her head ducked away at the sound of protest from the children and even some of the adults as they took off. She face forward now instead and her face brightened. The slide dipped, turned and general made her dizzy as they raced through the tube and rushing water.
Her hands held tightly to Roch's as her fin raised up and then they were at the bottom crashing through the opening into the pool. Amphi took a moment to drag Roch with her underwater, smiling at him and planting a kiss on his lips before pulling them up in record speed.
She splashed the water happily and looked around. The slide had been fun! she wondered if there were bigger ones too?

There were always those little moments where it was downright terrifying having a mermaid ghoulfriend. Not many--when you were on land, but when you were on water, well, who knew? It was a good thing Roch was an idiot--a tough idiot, because he was grinning as he surfaced, enjoying the brief hint of "mermaid Amphi" thoroughly.
"Hey, I got an idea," he said. "There's a store over there, and I think I saw one of those shark fin straps... y'wanna terrorize scarelings for a bit?" he asked her. "It'd be fun!"

That was a horrible idea. A horrible terrible idea Roch. Who went around and went scaring the little one!?!?!
As it was, the mermaid saw no reason why not. She was in her element, she was feeling dangerous. Scary dangerous. Circling around her boilfriend, she laced her arms over his neck and smiled at him, showing those baby fangs. But did Roch really want to let loose a mermaid shark that could barely control dragging her own man underwater??
