Water hit her cold enough to make her squeal, jumping and swiping an arm at Kess. "No fair! I haven't had time to get my gun yet!" Eyes lit up at the magical word 'raid' though; she was an awkward little duckling but she was an eager little duckling. Making friends! Doing cool things! Being awesome! Alright so maybe she was going to ******** this up by being too eager to start over and do things the right way but it was just...who she was. And then Quinn said she was ******** cool. Jackpot! "Gaming keeps me sane you have no idea." Otherwise she'd have to take her frustration out on Negaverse agents, the very people she was trying to convince that she didn't want to beat the s**t out of them. Lina didn't tangle much with the Dark Moon senshi because as much as she would have liked to have beaten the ever-living hell out of one of them, they were still generally a bit out of her class. Lina couldn't shoot magic out of her hands! It was unfortunate! Someone thought she was adorable. Daphne's world was exploding into starbursts of delight from which there was no coming down. Okay so maybe there was a way to bring her down but right now she was savoring the entire experience. It was almost like Jada's debutante ball again where somehow everyone had ended up talking to her, knowing her, wanting to dance so on and so forth. "I'm Daphne, by the way! Daph is cool as a nickname, I'm pretty chill." Hell someone could've run up and called her Audrey at that point and everything would've been chill! It was the beach, she was cool, she was in.

It had taken Ari all of five minutes to get to the car, get her board out, lock up the car up safely and jog back to the party. Now walking as sedately as was possible when she was about to wriggle out of her skin from sheer eye candy induced joygasms, she paused beside the shorter, blue-haired girl. Reaching out with her free hand to give the girl's hair a friendly tousle, she nodded and filed the name in her memory.
"Daphne, huh? Pretty name. Well, Daphne, I'm Arilee or Ari for short. And chill is a pretty great thing to be."
Arilee said that last with a serious look on her face. Indeed, she much preferred the chill people to the ones who let every little thing get to them. After a moment of studying Daphne and debating, she smiled again and managed an almost courtly bow, in spite of her spare board bumping into her ribs.
"Tell you what, Daphne, maybe later I can talk you into giving this board a go. You don't look like the type to panic and start screaming that a shark is going to attack if you even so much as look at a surfboard."
Arilee was determined to make some friends in this city. And as far as she was concerned, offering basic lessons as a means of extending the hand of fellowship was an excellent means of finding those friends.
Then, she turned to Quinn and gave her an impish grin. The moment Arilee got her hands on the water guns and balloons, her darling Captain was going to be soaked from head to toe.

Falco knew he'd probably be sort of the odd man out, he was older than most of the agents, which didn't matter so much until you started trying to hang out socially, then remembered that you were incredibly out of practice with doing anything that involved being social with people you weren't blood related to, and who were younger than you.
He'd brought a cooler full of chilled burger patties to contribute to the cooking ((Cheaper than steak, but tasty... the 'herbivores' he had already concluded could fend for themselves...)) and a couple packages of balloons for water fighting, but he wasn't sure if he would actually participate or just watch.
His Harley Davidson swim trunks and shredded, light t-shirt were relatively predictable, but he was less concerned with predictability than looking out of place. He was pretty sure he did that anyway.
Still, worth a shot.
"Brought some burgers to grill up!" he called to anyone who happened to be in ear shot, hefting the cooler as he approached the gathering.

It was an inevitability: Get enough girls in bathing suits together, and you were bound to get some older guy crashing the party. Then again, he came bearing gifts, and that meant someone must have invited him. Which meant he was, quite possibly, a cool dude. Besides, she had plenty of older friends that were due to arrive.
Waving an arm to catch his attention, she pointed her gun toward where the BBQ was shaded by a canopy. "Right there, bro, way to be." The gun moved until it was pointed toward a cooler full of beer. "Help yourself." He'd earned it!
Daphne was going to end up with more charming blondes than she knew how to deal with, and quick. Kess' grin relinquished the bluenette to Ari's flirtatious care, and she dodged the swat at her shoulder, looping her own freckled arm around Quinn's waist. Chaos-bros for life. Or until death. Whichever.
"Yeah, Daph's the s**t. We need to have some game nights, or somethin'." And if those devolved into sleepovers... Who was Kess to say no?

Quinn couldn't help but laugh at Daphne's comment about gaming keeping her sane, "Trust me, I completely understand." Gaming was her way to get away from the war that not-so-secretly raging through the streets and rooftops of Destiny City. It was the one time she could be a creature from some far away land that could fight for what they thought was right and get all of the respawns in the world. Unfortunately, real life didn't get respawns (for the most part). She narrowed her eyes at Ari, a playful smirk upon her lips in response to the grin. She had a feeling she wouldn't be dry for much longer. <******** yeah, now we've got some meat at this party!" She chimed rather loudly, fully aware of how that could possibly be interpreted, when the blonde man arrived with burgers. She casually leaned into Kess, her giant watergun hanging lazily from her hand until she had decided on her next target. "Game nights would be ******** awesome. My door is always open, ladies!"

"Ah, bless." Falco sighed happily at the sight of beer nestled in it's cooler, beaded with condensation and looking deliciously cold. "Let me know when and I can lend a hand getting things cooking." He added, hoping she'd catch it before she dissipated with evident pleasure into the crowd of young bikini bodies. Reminded him of his ex, young enough to be stunning, also young enough to soak in praise constantly to feel it. She'd fed on it like it actually sustained her. Maybe people like that really did, casting it back off as the glow energy, the kind that made you gorgeous no matter what you looked like. He could enjoy soaking up a little bit of that energy second hand anyway. He put down the cooler in the shade of the tent to make it stay cold just a touch longer, and scooped up a beer, passing it hand to hand a time or two before opening it and taking a swig. Ah. Bliss.

Flirty blonds were, thankfully, not at all out of Daphne's depth. Supercool brunettes like Quinn were a bit deeper into the cool-waters of which she was not entirely sure she could navigate but damn if she wasn't going to try! "Game night means that I have a reason to cook some more and put people in the house. You know I'm always down for that." Why hadn't she thought of using Kess' massive black book to throw a party before? That should have been something that would occur to her but then, Daph still wasn't too used to this whole 'deliberately social' thing. Reaching under the table she pulled up a brand-spanking-new boogie board that looked like it had just had the price tag pulled from it, waving it a bit enthusiastically. "Awesome! Maybe you can help me figure out what to do with this? I've seen videos of people doing stuff but I was figuring if nothing else I'd end up using it as a giant floatie, yanno? I love the water so anything that lets me spend more time in the water is super A+ in my book." Looking around she raised an eyebrow at the way older guy that suddenly showed up but hey! Kess did say that her clientele ran to all kinds from all walks of life. Deciding that she should probably do something before the good guns were all taken Daph dropped her board back under the table, moving to find a water gun of decent capacity and with a good pump action. They were useless without a good pump.

One of those people potentially making Falco uncomfortable and creeperish was the underage Aitana Ceu Matos. Bronzed Brazilian skin peeked out of her funky one piece bathing suit, and despite her height and toned athletic body the 16 year old tomboy definately looked well... not 18. As luck had it though, she seemed far more interested in what she was doing then trying to be jail bait.
A well beaten volleyball was being bounced over and over off her interlocked fists as she walked down through the warm beach sand, stepping awkwardly this way and that to accommodate whichever way the wind nudged the ball. Though she'd heard about the party ahead of time, she had brought nothing but herself and her ball, social graces be damned.
Ball still bouncing she lifted her eyes mildly to take inventory of what was going on and how many people were around. She could hear music and smell food coming from at least a couple of directions. The waves of the ocean were a welcoming sign as well. Her eyes flicked across a few people holding water guns in the distance, her grin widening with soft interest. It looked like no matter what she'd be able to find something fun to do today.
Maybe she could even convince some people into playing the chicken game!

The more she thought about it, the less Ari was considering using mere water guns or balloons to get her little bit of revenge on Quinn. No, she would have to think... bigger. More creative. Which could prove to be rather entertaining.
So rather than react further to Quinn's grin, she allowed her face to fall into an expression of utter and complete innocence as she batted her eyelashes before turning her attentions to Daphne.
"Mmm... those things are okay, but the shape makes 'em a bit harder to handle if you're trying to do more'n float. But if it makes you happy, I'm more than happy to help you out with it," she replied in a soft, friendly voice. Then, turning to Kess, she waved the board she'd brought up and grinned.
"Whenever you've got that minute, dude!" she called before planting the board firmly in the sand and grabbing her Precious. Then, extending her free hand to the blunette, she smiled and nodded her head to the waiting water.
"Shall we, cutie?"

As far as Uuni was concerned, everyone at the party was her friend for an evening. Friends of friends? It didn't matter.
However, it seemed this blonde girl was a friend of most of what this party had to offer. Uuni flashed her best smile, which was really her making a mental note to catch the number of this 'Kess' later. If she knew that many people, she was bound to know that many parties, and Uuni just couldn't turn down a future source like that.
Delighted, Uuni moved upright, opening her mouth to add some other, witty comment. A choked, gurgled sound escaped; the icey water closed down her throat so quickly that Uuni could only blink in surprise.
Lips squishing together for a moment, Uuni nearly made a comment about 'how the girls were already trying to get her wet' when new arms and a pluthera of food arrived.
"Hey handsome," she piped out, upon spotting something almost more intriguing than taste. Someone had brought the alcohol. "Wanna pass one of those my way?" If 'pass' was really the word for it. Uuni moved towards his location.
"I'm Uuni, by the way."
Her ears perked up at game nights, and she flicked her eyes back towards Kess. "Game nights?" Not that Uuni was much of a gamer, but she could be, if it involved tons of girls falling all over themselves. She'd even pick up a water gun today, just for that. Maybe she'd even break into a jog. Well, maybe that was getting ahead of herself. "What sort?"
"I like you," she added, to one of the girl's on her left after the exclamation of 'meat'. She wondered if said 'meat' regretted being the only source of testosterone in their small group. She'd been unable to catch a name, but the words were all she needed to hear. She pointed a friendly finger at Quinn. "Have we met?"
It was almost like a contest. How many people could she talk to at once?

Looking around for a moment it seemed like everyone had someone to talk to; why somehow Daphne felt like a hostess when it was decidedly not her party was just a little off. Though she'd supplied most of the food it was still Kess' party and it wasn't her responsibility to make sure everyone was having a good time. She was supposed to enjoy herself so after that brief hesitation Daphne nodded and pulled her hair back fast into a messy ponytail. It was growing out, not that long, but still enough that she wanted to keep it out of her face. "I'm all yours Ari! Let's hit it! Maybe you can make me into a cute surfer babe or something, I need an angle. Right now all I have is an unlimited supply of candy from the store I work at which draws a lot of people sure, but that's not all so cool." Teasingly her eyes rolled, squinted, and she stuck her tongue out in a 'blech' sort of motion. Grasping Ari's hand she tugged in a way that would have seemed just a little too familiar to Kess but was slowly becoming a habitual sort of gesture for the petite bluenette. "Race you?"

Corey had been invited to a party. Which pretty much totally meant that he like HAD to be there. Even if he knew noone. But the fact that he'd been invited by Kess, the super cutie mail girl that he obliviously had a small crush on, well. Let's just say it would be one occassion that he might have actually closed down the arcade for even if he couldn't have found workers! He had found workers though. Or forced them. Whatever. Money being made while he was out partying the day away. Corey was like a child high on a bucket of halloween candy.
Admiring all the 'scenery' as he made it to the beach, Corey hightailed it towards the center of all the activity where most of everything seemed to be going on. He was dorking it up with his Pac man swim trunks, pasty skin, and mullet. Was he singing? By god he was, with a smile so wide it almost looked like it would break his face.
"Take me down to the Paradise City were the grass is green and the girls are prettyyyyy. Oh won't you please take me hooooome."
His serenade ended moments before he reached the tent, offering his cooler of sodas off to join the rest of the collection, calling towards Kess with a playful leer simply to announce his presence. "Brought you a special package today Kess!" Package handling jokes. They almost certainly endured him to all the lovely ladies around. Or.. whatever the opposite of endearing was.
She was pretty busy, so he could talk to her later.
Noticing another guy, and one that was actually like.. semi close to his age, he weaved his way over, but not before offering a cheerful "Hi! I'm Corey" to everyone in his path along the way.
"Hey dude! Corey Boone." Jutting his hand out he waited for Falco to grab it.

Count on Zac to wear a t-shirt with his swimwear, count on him to wear a –black- t-shirt to the beach. He’d intended to skirt the edge of the crowd at first, just watch people mingle. See who talked to who and all the normal things he liked to watch, though perhaps with a bit more interest than normal. His thoughts changed when he saw Kess and Daph mingling with another young woman. He moved closer, toting with him some store brand sodas and a bag of ice for the coolers. Worst case they could be mixed with something after the sun went down, right? “Hey… am I um… interrupting? Hi Daph, G….Kess…” He glanced at the others not knowing their names right off.

While Kess didn't think Uuni was the type to keep on par the aggressive gaming that Daphne and Quinn were fond of, it didn't mean that Uuni couldn't come by for... A game of charades or two. "Geeky s**t. Or you know, cool stuff. It's very in this season, I hear. Quinn, this is..." She snapped her fingers once, twice, digging for it, "Uuni. Uuni, Quinn."
Speaking of geeks! There was the arcade king himself! It'd been awhile since she'd had enough time to actually play a game at the arcade, instead of just dropping off a shipment.
"Boone!" The squirtgun was fired in the air in excitement, sending a shower of water droplets down on everyone's head. Apparently that was a hello.
Quinn would find herself completely lifted off her feet as Kess tightened her grip and did a half spin, to face Zac, blocking the view of a certain bluenette as she took off toward the beach. "Hey, buddy!" The cheerful greeting was accompanied by a gun point toward the cooler area. "You can drop the stuff over there. Daph's busy gettin' a lesson in badassery."
A pause, and her dark eyes trailed Daphne toward the water. "I suggest you arm yourself before she gets back." Her gaze found Zac's pale eyes, and she raised a brow. "With a supersoaker, that is."

"Well I like you too!," she said with a laugh, her attention stolen for a moment as she watched Ari disappear into the ocean with Daphne. When Kess introduced her, she turned back to Uuni. "Nice t'meet you! You have a whole lotta awfully pretty friends, Kess!" She grinned up at her blonde friend. Her nose wrinkled as the cold water rained down on her head from Kess' ridiculous greeting of the new-comers. And then she squealed much louder than she had intended to as Kess gripped her around the waist and turned her. "Can't you see we were having a super intimate moment? Most definitely interrupting," she said with a grin and a wink as she squirt this ridiculous new guy wearing a black t-shirt to the beach with her giant supersoaker. Laughing, she added, "No worries dude, you can totes join us ladies." She squirt him a second time, purposefully wetting his t-shirt. If he was at this party, he was fair game. "Hey dude, you do realize you're at the beach right?" She stuck her tongue out at him.
