"North it is then." Isabelle agreed quickly, glad that he wanted to go closer to the herd lands too. "I feel more comfortable in the herd lands anyway." It was also closer to her children...she thought to herself. But he didn't need to know that, Isa knew there were things everybody didn't tell everyone right off and that was one of them.

He nodded, glad that she agreed with him so easily. It was like if they would have such a simple flight, flying towards the lands of the Greater Herd, actually seeing them for the first time in his life. Would they actually be as grand as he dreamt they were?

Thinking of his former comment, about the herd lands and how the south was like going back in time for him. "Have you ever been to the Greater herd lands?" She asked as the began to fly over the river, heading north to the land she called home.

Regalia snorted, irritated of all the azrein who asked him that, like if they wanted to shatter his dreams. "No." he spoke, "Have you yourself, Isabelle?"

A smile appeared on the mare's face. "I have, actually." Her tone somewhat sharp to counter his snort. "It is the place that I call home, normally. Though no one particular place has taken my fancy, I spend my time up here in the herd lands."

He blinked, marveled. So she must have known most of the ones in the herd! "So you're a wandering one too, huh?" he asked, itching to meet her herd.

"I...I am. I don't have a heard of my own unfortunately. Though...my...son...was adopted into a herd, I have not seen them in awhile though." Isabelle said quietly, she halfway hoped he hadn't heard her. She was worried that he may not want to be around her when he found out that she had children.

Inside, the stallion would have mocked the mare for not knowing where her son was, but then too, that was like his story from the past. He flew away from home. "Why don't we try looking for him?" he suggested. He paused for a quick second. "Isabelle..." he began, not knowing what to say.

"I would like that...though we should look for my daughter first." Isabelle said, wincing as she waited for him to freak out but it didn't seem like he was going to. "I know...I'm a terrible mother..." She admitted, not only to the stallion, but to herself as well. And then when he said her name, it seemed like there was something else behind it. "Yes, Regalia? What is it?"

He remembered his mother telling him to help any mare in need, which he never did, but just watched as they lived through misery, but this mare's story was much more different and connected to his. "If you have been through this much alone, I'm sure that your children are just fine." he did not know what that would do to her, hate him or not, but it was said. Now her question. "Err... I don't know what they look like.."

With a sigh, Isabelle spotted a clearing ahead and said nothing as she started her descent. He didn't have to follow if he didn't want to. Maybe he was right, they were probably better off without her. Bhaskar's adopted family probably took way better care of him that she would have ever been able to and who knows where Hale ran off to. She was such a bad mother.
