Nice first post, though you threw me for a loop with the petticoat. The image I got was of your character wearing an underskirt, but I don't think that's what you meant because you mentioned pants after that. Were you perhaps thinking of a blazer or another kind of coat?Oh, is it not called a petticoat? gonk I should have known...is it like a trench coat or something? It's the image emotion_8c though... I sorreh.
Oh, don't be sorry, it's just a little mistake, and a perfectly understandable one.
I don't think so, unless you did mean a woman's underskirt. Maybe you were thinking of something like this blazer? Or a sports jacket? This is a double-breasted trench coat.
If you want the names of men's clothing articles while roleplaying, maybe you could open up a tab with some big clothing store's online catalog and browse the men's section.The thing was, I was fairly certain of my choice too! /sad laugh/

I've been up at my cousins, and their WIFI is broken. I tried their compooter but it was really really slow D: like a dinosaur. except not as cool... i'll post soon, let me gather my thoughts and read the other posts. I have a couple other RP's to post on, also.

So are the peoples going to go eat after this? Because John only has an apple left... And do they have a clubhouse or anything? Maybe a penthouse suite in Times Square? Yeh, that'd be cool. All i know is that John really wants a big tub of Mint ice cream topped in strawberries and a frickton of whip cream while watching the Science channel, super nerdy stuffs. Yeh. c:

yeah, they'll probably go out for dinner or something. i was thinking they'd head to the training/simulation room after everyone's made their initial introductions to see what the humans are made of, then head out for some food, and on their way there, encounter a vampire clan and BATTLE IT OUT WITH THEM. biggrin just an idea i was tossing around though. trying to find a way to transition into the team's first battle together. sound okay with you guys, or you'd rather it done differently?
raguel allows the whole team freedom most of the time to go about their daily lives, so whether or not you want your person to have a suite in the city is up to you. the 'clubhouse'/headquarters is the shabby "coffee shop" on the outskirts of the city, and there are a couple bedrooms in the hq for any magical creatures that need a place to stay for a day or two. so for those team members who like to get out there and socialize, valery or lenora for example, then they might want their own places. xander, on the other hand, doesn't care and just dorms in the hq.
or we could have everybody all stay at the hq (save the humans) and make them all one big family~ x)

I think i may just have John as homeless, except he comes in to the HQ for the food, and eats with the team when they go out to eat. Sometimes he'll even hang out in the HQ, but he'll NEVER sleep there. How about there always seems to be enough food, like magically restocked? Considering John eats more in a week than the entire team put together in a month. Hehe.... And a battle with the vampires sounds okay, but maybe they shouldn't spontaneously pop out, but like there's a small gang of them just hanging out and abusing some drunkards and street trash. And John will probably end up helping the drunkards and street trash for the first part of the battle instead of instantly going to claws and fangs. He doesn't usually participate in fights beyond the usual punches and flips, because he can't control himself very well once he becomes an animal... Yep, that sounds good. Also, he's kind of the pacifist of the group.

why won't he sleep there? it's practically the only home he has, isn't it? and there's as much mint ice cream as he wants there. x) and i'm good with that part about the food. no one's ever really inquired where the food comes from. some think it comes from Raguel, but no one knows for sure.
yeahh, i was thinking about just having the vampire gang saunter up and pick a fight with the team, but the drunkards and street trash idea sounds good. :3 and i wouldn't have expected less from john. we need somebody to balance out xander's RAAEG anyway.

Yep c: I kind of imagine John as Xander's balance. Yin and yang, etc. And I suppose he could crash there, yesh. That sounds fabulouuusussususs. His room will be a bit, strangeee though. Like, claw marks all over the wall of all sizes and such. And his bed shall be a water bed c: And there will be writing on the wall, not insane stuff, just equations and drawings when he gets bored. But how about the TV isn't in his room, because then he would never leave c: He'll always be either in his room, the kitchen, or the main room where the TV is... He's not antisocial, just awkward. And antisocial, hehehe.... Or just hang upside down in his room listening to classical music with his iPod, figuring a rubik's cube. Because he has that much swag. But feel free to attempt to socialize, i enjoy writing as John c:

I'm up for street trash vamp fighting. Val's not as much of a party animal as Lenora, she got that out of her system a hundred years ago, so she would live close to HQ in order to be on hand for emergencies.
