Just as Shadow broke free, she was frozen yet again by another ice beam. On the plus side, being re-frozen bought her enough time to cool off-- pun intended. She regained her calm composure; she would wait for Zinnia's command before leaping recklessly into battle. But once she was free of her chilly prison...
Dreydonna merely grunted in her sleep, not paying any attention to Satori.
Zinnia could only wait and worry.

The duo turned their attention to the gengar, Gangrel shooting ice beams, and Satori prancing around it.

"Dreydonna!" Zinnia exclaimed as the ghost pokemon awoke only to get a face full of ice beam. Being stuck frozen while another pokemon danced just outside of her reach enraged her, making her confused on top of being unable to move.
Zyk thought that the battle was looking rather grim. Maybe it would be best if he simply poisoned Walpurgis himself, giving Zinnia the chance to run away... But he didn't want to risk leaving her side. What if Walpurgis decided to throw a knife? While Shadow and Dreydonna continued to be immobilized, there was only him left to protect Zin.

"Shadow! Use Captivate on the rattata!" Zinnia shouted as soon as the mew broke free and manage to dodge both of her enemies' attacks.
As embarrassing the attack was, Shadow acquiesed and approached Gangrel, fluttering her eyelashes at him coyly.

((Swagger [Normal] - Roll two 4-sided dice in order to try to confuse your opponent's pokemon. First dice determines if it hits or not; 1-2 = miss, 3-4 = hit. Second dice determines how long the condition lasts, 1 = 1 turn, 2 = 2 turns, etc. (count only your opponent's turns for the countdown) ))
Satori was enraged by the mew's advances, and Gangrel felt a bit terrified of her. Walpurgis noted that it would likely be pointless to continue the previous strategy. "Focus your attacks on the gengar again! Gangrel, shadow ball! Satori, night slash!"
Gangrel's eyes turned back to purple as he launched a shadow ball at the gengar. Satori felt an overwhelming urge to tear the mews throat out of it's neck, but she decided that waiting would make it all the sweeter. She swiped at the confused gengar.

Gangrel was struck by the attack, and felt his energy sapped away. "Alright, try disabling them again! Ice Beam the mew and Yawn at the gengar, go!"
Gangrel's eye faded back to blue as he launched another ice beam at the mew, while Satori yawned mockingly at the gengar.

Dreydonna was somehow able to thwack herself in the head with her own fist, and then promptly fell asleep, while above, Shadow was trapped yet again.
"No! Stop that!" Zinnia exclaimed as her pokemon were once again immobilized. She clenched her fists and glared at Walpurgis.

Gangrel's eye faded back into purple again, launching a blast of shadow energy while Satori sent ribbons of darkness at the gengar.

"No! Dreydonna!" Zinnia nearly screamed as the two Rocket pokemon ganged up on her gengar. Though the ghost shuddered and stirred in her sleep, even the heavy damage could not wake her.
Shadow glared down helplessly, unable to help her companion. If things kept going like they were, she would have a very hard time protecting Zinnia alone.
