Kesin, Attacking Z'en
"If you don't want to fight, you could just run away," Kesin suggested, clearly not buying any of the weyrling's arguments. She dodged his attempt to hit her again, and cracked the whip hard.

Kataith: Attacking Kesisk
Kataith hissed, claws raked down her muzzle though thankfully the Wher's claws just missed her eye. She tried to use the advantage of the Wher being attached to her face by slamming her head to the side and down, trying to crush the Gold's body beneath her head while raking out with her claw, bringing it up trying to shove down on the Wher.

Z'en: Defending Against Kesin
Z'en saw her move to crack the whip down again, he half turned and brought his arm up to try and block some of the hit, perhaps he could even grab the whip and take it from her. but the tip caught his eye, cutting him on his eyebrow, almost instantly his vision was blurred by blood from the cut, it wasn't deep or particularly but bled horribly

No way, Kesisk was not going to be crushed by a dragon a second time, even if it was a much smaller dragon. The little gold struggled to get away before she could be too badly hurt.

Well, that looked like it probably hurt! She couldn't tell how deep she'd cut him, but it was bleeding an awful lot, which meant he probably wasn't seeing very well. Good, it would be easier to hit him again. She lashed the whip at his face once more.

Kataith: Attacking Kesisk
She knew when Z'en's vision blurred. She knew he was sort of alright but she was busy trying to kill this little pest, she felt a little bad about it but a fight was a fight and Kataith wasn't one to back down. She curled a lip, exposing teeth as the Gold wriggled away from her head so she brought her claw down instead, trying to slam down on the Wher.

Z'en: Defending Against Kesin
Z'en tried to rub the blood from out of his eyes but the Wherhandler brought the whip down again. It was all he could do to avoid another hit to his face, as it was he stumbled backwards, catching a glancing blow.

Once she was out from under the green's head, Kesisk was quick to scurry away and avoid the second attempt to crush her. She mantled her crooked wings and hissed at the dragon before charging back in.

As the rider stumbled back, Kesin advanced on him, curling her whip back into her hand as she stepped forward. If she could get close while he couldn't see, it would be an easy thing to knock him out. When she was close enough, she struck hard at his temple with the solid handle of the whip.

Kataith and Z'en: Retreating
Z'en went down like a sack of potatoes, he'd been trying to get back up, furiously blinking to try and be able to see properly but he didn't see the handler advance, he didn't expect the handler to in fact, he would have thought she'd have left him alone once he was down. He felt the blow but only for a moment, and he blacked out.
The moment Z'en lost conciousness from the blow the handler gave him Kataith roared, something louder than her frame should have been able to manage. She hopped over to where Z'en was, slamming her feet either side of Hers and bared her teeth at the handler, furious that she couldn't hurt the woman. She grabbed Z'en in a claw and backed up, launching herself into the air. "This will not be forgotten Wherhandler, i shall remember your Gold" she said, her mental voice low and dangerous as she fled with Hers, not daring to Between just yet, instead she took him back to their Weyr.

Kesin and Kesisk
"Yeah, yeah," the goldhandler replied, waving her hand dismissively. Angry dragons couldn't hurt her, no matter how angry they were, and therefore they didn't scare her. Especially not a weyrling green, who was nothing compared to the full-grown bronze they'd faced.
Kesisk returned to her side, and she put out a hand to stroke her head, smiling down at her. "Good job, girl."
