When her head tilted up to look into his face, he saw the unabashed hope and longing there. Just like that, she believed her fairytale had come. Some dashing prince, love at first sight...all of the lies the books told to make you believe in good things. When would they learn...there just wasn't many good things left.
"Yes, blessed..." He ducked his head, thinking an embarrassing thought to get his cheeks to colour up. "Blessed for this moment," his eyes looked deep into hers. "Do you really think it possible that all our lives were meant for this moment? For me to meet you? For me to...love you?"

His eyes caught hers and she almost literally froze on the spot. Time stopped. She couldn't breathe, she couldn't blink, she couldn't hear or see anything other than Horus. It was as if he had put her into a trance, or if she had been asked, she'd probably say that he actually stopped all of time for her for those few precious moments, just to make them perfect. For her.
Avia hazily stepped closer until she could press her muzzle against his. A bold move, but the perfect one for such a moment. There was no second thoughts, no asking if this was all going a little fast. She was just ready to be appreciated and loved.
Eyes locked, she whispered her first sweet nothing to him, "For us to love one another."
Oh, yes, she was a fly caught in a spider's web, but it was a fly that had no conception of it's imminent role for dinner, and a spider that had all the illusions and tools to create an impeccably innocent menu.
