Zar rolled his eyes at Israfel. "Now is exactly the time for you to wave around how fantastically experienced you are in my face, entirely the right moment to gloat in that manner. I didn't presume to know who you are either, possibly I didn't think that fame had any real bearing on the merit of one's opinions. I'll be sure to bear that in mind in future." his tone seemed serious but it was more than likely it was undercut with sarcasm.
"Nor, in fact - did I say I spoke to a single hunter, or a single horseman for that matter, but please, continue to speculate as you say you are so entirely accomplished at doing so. It at the very least is a distraction from this confinement and mildly entertaining. I merely offered my thoughts as possibly interesting, I did not anticipate being one-upped in my dealings instantaneously."
His tail flicked irritably at being called a fool by a boil who had already claimed to know nothing whatsoever about him. But he refused to rise to it, anger generally wasn't something he dabbled in, it was irrational, just as sentimentalism was. "I dare." he said "I shall continue to say whatever I like, regardless of whatever threats or moral lectures I might receive." He wrapped his paper wings a little more firmly around him, he missed having Nuru present, his ever supporting attitude was a warm relief from the contrary tone of strangers.
"Some individuals are born to suffer." he stated coldly.
Yin got a nod however for his question, the Incubus looking tired and anxious. "I am a student, unfortunately."

Amphi nodded and understood that she wasn't alone in this whole thing, 5 other students were with her, and what would happen to them...she didn't know either.
"Hard to know what we are surviving against." She rubbed her eyes and sighed. This was a horrible HORRIBLE predicament to be in. "But yes all arguments aside, My main focus is getting out of here before something...suffering happens." She smiled at Zar, "Are you a first year? Second year?" She was at least attempting to better understand the group she was with.
"And Yin?" She looked over at the weremantis, "Aren't you Danny's friend?"

That went well...or not. Amrita finally seemed to have enough of pacing and took a seat on the floor, pressing the soles of her backward feet together and holding them with both hands. Amphi's attempt to get to know everyone received a very supporting smile, and the Patchwork eagerly turned her gaze towards both boils as they were singled out.
"Oh, yes! And what's your name?" It was a welcome distraction; something that wasn't arguing or pain to focus on, instead of the thoughts in her head. It held back all the worries, all the thoughts on her friends and where they were - were they safe in Amity again? Or were there more rooms like this one? She wanted to go hug Amphi for this distraction, but she couldn't bring herself to stand.

Yin looked at the ghoul's hand, obviously momentarily torn before he took it and brought to to his lips to brush the barest kiss across the back of it. Handshaking 101, Yin had not had it.
Zar on the other hand, despite his question, was getting a bit of a look. It was clear that he disagrees with Miss Israfel, and Yin more or less agreed with the ghoul a bit more, though he was not positive who was correct. "We should not turning on each other, for all we know we could be together for quite some time."
Amphi got a small bow as he turned to her. "Indeed, Miss Danny is a close friend of mine. My first friend. If you are a friend of hers..." well, Roch was also her friend..."it is good to meet you, though I would have preferred different circumstances."

Zar nodded politely, a little relieved that at least some of the students present seemed friendly. He was sure he'd seen individuals around but had never dared to speak to them, a fact he regretted now he found himself in the clutches of whatever faction currently held them captive - he had woefully failed at networking it seemed.
"I'm a second year." he offered helpfully. "And I agree, escape is the most useful thing to concentrate on most of all."
He eyed the bunks fleetingly and thought to himself he'd be lucky if anyone noticed he was gone, he'd been arguing with Nuru since the prom and it was saddening to think that if this was a serious long term confinement, he might never get to make up with the Barghest boil.
"As clean and neat as it is in here, I do so prefer my own dormitory."

Resting her head against her hand, Mei watched the group in silence. Arguing was getting them nowhere it all. Thankfully, things had started to calm down a little bit. Tensions were still high, but at least they were all starting to have a more civilized conversation now. She was at least happy to know the names of who all was taken captive with her. It was a pity it wasn't under better circumstances though..
Half smirking at Zar's remark about the dorms, and preferring his own, she had to agree. Her dorm could be a stye at times, but she would take it over this anytime. This place that smelled of a lab..she hated this smell. "Agreed."

"I'm Amrita, a third year." She introduced herself more formally for the Demon. "Ah, I'm sorry, what's your name?" Amrita repeated shortly after, staring at Zar expectantly. It was all well and good to know years, but she hadn't the faintest idea who this boil was; she liked to address people by name, too. The comment on the dorms made him chuckle, and she shook her head.
"I'm with ya there; but I think I'd take Jericho's room over this." And Jericho's room had fire in it. The ghoul sucked in an unnecessary breath, gnawing on what was left of her lower lip in thought.
"Did any of you go to Prom?" Yes, she was going to make small talk.

"I do miss the waters of my dorm as well." The mermaid smiled again, settling herself down as she addressed both Zar and Yin, her gaze lingering on Amrita as well.
"A pleasure to meet you as well Yin." She flushed, "and yes Danny is one of my best friends. I miss her right now." She shrugged and then looked around, "It's a shame they couldn't even give us a window to pretend to think of an escape out of..." She sighed, "But knowing the hunters, we're probably knee deep in their lair." Escape would be futile if they happened to get out without even knowing the lay out of the place.
The ghoul might be a ditz, but she spent many years in the seas escaping things.
"Ah a second year..." Her smile beamed even more at Zar, "I am a second year as well! Although I am close to moving up to third year..." You know...if they made it out. "And I believe Amrita?-" hope she got the name perfect, "Is a third year." Except Amrita just announced it too..."Mei is a third year too...and Israfel?" So they were a combination of students who should have a lot exprience. Getting up the mermaid went to the incubus first and blinked.
"I know this might seem like a silly question but...are you hurt anywhere? I can heal somewhat, and would rather have everyone alright in case...we get attacked again..." The invintation was sent to anyone in the group, as she looked over them. Since you know, the mermaid could either sing for them or heal them.
Yeah she was good at that.

Mei would have introduced herself, but thanks to Amphi, she didn't have to. She nodded in response, confirming that she was indeed a third year student. So three of them were third years, and the other three second years..none of them were first years. Well, if it came down to them having to fight their way out, at least their chances were better..? Yeah..that was wishful thinking.
Shaking her head at Rita's question, the doll leaned back against the side of one of the beds. "Not me. I'm not one for, uh..formal wear. The dresses don't end well when I wear them." This was true, as she had torn just about every formal dress she had ever worn. She was more of a..casual wear kind of ghoul. She despised having to dress up. Though, she had and would on occasion before for Bul.
"Same." She dittoed Amphi's words. "In fact, that's about all I'm good at." She sighed, stretching out her legs in front of her. She had gotten a little better at the fighting part now that she was a third year, but she was an even better healer now. "Though, I wonder if our fear is any good here.."

Zar was a little more heartened by the positivity of the others, usually so very deeply mired in pessimism that it was hard to imagine anything else. He noted everyone's respective names and years as best he could before raising a brow at Amphi. He wasn't sure if he'd been hurt, injury rarely counted as a concern for him unless it involved damage to his paperwork.
He finally unfolded his wings, first eyeing one then the other before patting his suit, there were no tell tale patches of ink coloured blood anywhere to indicate he'd been harmed and not noticed. It was a good thing. "I appear to be fully intact, if a little shaken." He gave her a genuine smile. "I am grateful for your concern."
He mentally scolded his own manners at neglecting his name."I am Zar by the way."
He nodded, normally finding small talk tedious and a time waster on his schedule, but there was no schedule here, no real handle on his future. "I attended prom because my boilfriend insisted."

"Second year," he confirmed. Talk was of...prom? His thoughts flew back, a pleasant evening that had...ended less than perfect. He tried not to focus on that, but his thoughts were flying toward a specific zomboil. Maybe...if he was here maybe that meant Alexander was safe. He had somehow managed to accomplish what he had sworn to do. Maybe. He had to believe that. He had to.
"Greetings Miss Mei, Zar." He was beginning to pace, trying both to warm up and toget rid of excess energy. Waiting. Confined. He hated this. He needed some sort of option. "We are decided that it is useless to attempt an escape?"

Amphi blinked and smiled at the Incubus again. "That's good!" She sat back down and crossed her legs, at ease with small talk rather then mentioning their current situation. "No problem, I'm really only good at healing after all." She shrugged and turned over to Yin.
"Even if we attempted it now Yin, the only thing we would be met with us is more hunters and a land we do not know." She bit her lip nervously, "I hate to say we need to bid on time but....with how we are now, we are at their whim until we can gain information..."
"Oh Prom!" Amphi was immediately distracted by the talk of something normal and smiled. "Prom was fun. Except Lou. Lou was there." Okay she made a face at the mention of Lou. "And Dancing was fun..." She looked over at Zar again, "Did you not like it?"

"It's nice to meet you, Zar. Officially." His answer about Prom made her grin, though; she could already picture someone dragging mister sternface along, and the mental image was adorable.
"Aww, that was nice of you!" Amrita chirped to Zar, still smiling away. "I went too! Coulda done without a few things~" Like seeing a friend back from the dead without warning, that was not a nice surprise. "-But I thought it was fun. Can't wait for the next event!" Because they were getting out of here, she was sure of it.
"As for escaping...I tried the door, it's locked. I don't think my bones can take trying to bash the window in...but if someone wants to try you're more than welcome." A seething glance was passed to the door as if it betrayed her, "I think for now all we can do is sit here and conserve our energy, though. Just...keep on guard for when that door opens." They didn't know what was on the other end, after all. Thankfully Amphi stole away the conversation again; it was nice to pass the time in an uncomfortable place with pleasant talk, even if she did have to keep holding herself to stop from shaking in panic.
"Who is Lou? Do we have to string him up by his toes?"

There was a clipped laugh that bubbled up. "You're the worst." Picking at the dirt under his nails, Israfel earwings held back. "Born to suffer-" The tone dropped to something much lower and masculine. "I was supposedly born to die, yet I refused and I live. Suffering is without purpose and no one is without purpose. Do not speak to me of suffering." A deep breath the siren's nails raked along the bed, drawing up a high pitched scratching sound.
"The hunters have the habit of playing off of our weaknesses and if possible contain us in clusters." His voice had returned to the neutral tone it held more often than not. "Philosophical disagreements aside, every encounter they have held us using some kind of electrical current that will drain us of our power. Thus, the suggestion that since we are contained, trying to fight the window or door would yield little result. It's in theory a good notion, but we don't know where we are. If we're in halloween that's not so bad. In the Human world we'd be stuck and needing to find a way home. If on the island...."
The siren looked to the older students. "It's anyone's bet on that. But yes. Resting, waiting, is our safest option at this time. A better question might be does anyone feel ill or drained? It doesn't take a hunter's trap to make us go weak from lack of FEAR."

"Nice to meet you both." She nodded to Zar and Yin.
So they couldn't break out, they couldn't fight their way out..what was it they could do? Nothing? It was amazing how useless one could feel while in captivity. If she could have it her way, she would damn well fight them every chance she got. But, since she wasn't the only one here, she had to consider the others lives as well. And as Israfel had pointed it out, there was literally no point to it. Loosing a sigh, the doll pulled herself up off the ground and sat on one of the lower beds.
Shaking her head, she didn't feel ill or drained from anything that had happened. "Unless headaches count, then no. Nothing."
