This had not turned into a promising endeavor. It was safe to say Titus was probably not going to try this again. His only problem was letting go of Riyo's ear would guaranteed his quick trip to the nurse's office. So....he held on.
"Hey I wasn't the one getting all cozy here and chewing on my shirt." He grimaced trying to edge his way out from under her without letting go of the only meager leverage he had.

She couldn't lift her head up, so instead she removed a hand from his shirt to place it over the one that had ahold of her ear. Riyo could barely even squeeze it. "W-what did I do to make you hate me so much?" She squeaked, her eyes tightly shutting.
And why can't I hate you back?

"I didn't know you were going to go as mad as a Hatter on me. I figured it was cat n**, cats like cat n**!" Not the complete truth but it was there. "And I didn't even bring up sex this time! No, all I get is mauled by a wave of cats for bringing you s**t."
The hand around his wrist wasn't much but the grip he had started to slack at her last question. "I don't hate you....but if you haven't noticed I'm not that friendly with anyone. In a way you could think of it as I treat everyone equally." Though that wasn't necessarily true. He had already gone to more effort here than he would have normally deemed worth the trouble.

He was an idiot.
The boil was a complete idiot, and the more she listened to him, the more she realized all of this terrible s**t was in some backwards effort to be something resembling nice. Wait, didn't bring up sex this time? That meant... AUGH.
When Titus's grip loosened, so did hers around the boil's wrist. It was so hard to step back from this and try to see it from his point of view, because in a sense she still didn't know that much about him. Just that he was terrible and all of his gestures generally went misinterpreted as far as she went. This wasn't fair. Though, what in her life really was?
She let out a frustrated sigh as she tried. TRIED to subdue her anger. Stuff it back inside the crevices from whence it came. Kinda like trying to deal with a child, reminding herself that he didn't know any better.
Of course, that didn't meant she wasn't going to hit him when he released her.
"Here..." The ghoul's hand gingerly cupped his in an attempt to guide his fingers. She'd never had anybody purposefully touch her ears before, much less rub them. "Y-you have to be gentle with them." If he was going to know her weakness, she might as well make the most of it... Right?

There was silence...lots of silence. Titus didn't know if this was a good or bad sign. It looked like Riyo was calming down but she could also be storing her energy for a moment to strike. To say it was unexpected when she started to guide his hand was an understatement.
"A-alright..." He tried to keep that in mind as he started to rub her ear with a gentle touch instead of the firm hold he had a second ago. Maybe if he could just...defuse her anger he could just....
No...no Titus would just be happy to leave her room alive at this point.

The ghoul started off looking both disgruntled and embarrassed to even be caught in such a situation. Had she expected him to cooperate like he did? Well he ******** better if he wanted to leave in anything resembling one piece.
Though, as Titus seemed to get the hang of it, something happened. All the anger and stress on the ghoul's face slowly started to melt away. Riyo's hand slowly released his and reclaimed the boil's shirt.
And then...=w= The feline couldn't make a more content face if she'd been trying. Every negative thought and desire just... Sort of took a road trip straight out of her mind. Thoughts? What were thoughts? Riyo didn't know because there was no room for thoughts right now. Only good feels. Lots and lots of good feels. Was she purring? Oh Hell yes she was purring. Probably enough to shake the whole room.
Riyo took in a deep breath and let out a soft sigh as she stretched her body out, one of her legs giving a little twitch shortly after. She was officially okay with this.

As Titus continued to work at her ear he noticed a change. It was subtle at first the way her expression was softening and slowly she began to relax. Before long she was stretched out seemingly enjoying herself as he continued to stroke her ear.
Well then. Mentally noted.
But what should he do now? Would he be able to ease her back into the purpose of his visit? He thought on his situation carefully. It was a long and intense moment of mental thought before he finally spoke.
"So....now what?" Yep that was the best he had come up with.

Now what was that sound? Kinda sounded like a fly buzzing around, though compared to the field of daisies she was walking in, it really didn't seem like a big deal.
Oh wait. The ear scritcher was talking. Maybe she should listen.
What now, he said? Couldn't they just... Do this forever? Riyo would certainly be okay with that. Maybe Titus was getting bored because he wasn't getting anything out of it. The feline supposed she could fix that.
Shifting a little so she could reach, her hands crept up the boil's sides, past his neck, and grabbed his ears.
"... Yours aren't very soft." She mumbled softly, running her fingernails around the curves and creases. Riyo had never really paid much attention to other people's ears. Fascinating.

And now she was touching his ears. He made a face as she traced along the rim, feeling her fingers graze across the multiple earrings he had. While his might not have been fuzzy they still ended in a slight point, almost elfish but not nearly as pronounced.
"Excuse me for not having satellite dishes on my head." The ear petting wasn't really doing much for him either, more like it was making him leery she was going to grab an earring and yank. Not that he hadn't had them pulled out before but he liked to avoid it if possible.
"So what is it about this that is appealing?" He continued to rub her ears, scratching behind one lightly like one might scratch behind a cat's ear.

"I don't know how you do this to yourself." The ghoul mumbled as her fingers ran across the metal, curiously twisting one of them as if expecting it to do something. She supposed it looked alright, but the thought of doing such a thing to herself made the ghoul shiver. The satellite dish comment went ignored. If there was one thing she was confident about, it was the fact that her ears were cute and he could say nothing to change that.
Getting bored of Titus's ears, Riyo's fingers moved up to touch his horns. "It's not rocket s-fffffff" Oh Jack, right there. That was the spot. Her ear gave a twitch as the nightmare demon gave it a little scratch from behind. "... Science." She coughed and finished her sentence. "They're sensitive and nobody really touches them." It wasn't like she could just do this herself. It didn't feel nearly as good.
"... And they shouldn't!" She quickly followed up, trying to sound serious and failing miserably. "B-because... I don't need that kind of attention." It certainly didn't look that way. The ghoul wasn't begging him to stop or anything.
"Shame your ears aren't like that. I guess you'll never know how nice it feels."

"Its decoraaaaaAAaaah! Don't twist them, Jack!" Titus snapped, pinching her ear lightly in retaliation.
Thankfully she pulled away messing with his horns instead. That he didn't mind so much, she could bang on those all day and he would never know. They served as a helmet most of the time anyway.
"Oh? You don't seem to mind this kind of attention." Titus mused, continuing to rub her ears. "And I'm sure you can do something for me that would feel just as nice." The key note in Titus' mind was that he still hadn't mentioned sex. He was easing into it. This would totally work.

Riyo let out a whine when Titus pinched her ear, hands retreating back to his still unbuttoned shirt. She hadn't realized doing such a thing would hurt. The ghoul figured he was numb after putting all that metal in his ears.
"Y-yeah well..." The feline's voice trailed off, her tail tapping the hardwood floor nervously.
Then he said it.
Riyo squeezed the fabric in her hands, glancing away from the boil. Was he really that stupid? Okay, he was that stupid, but maybe he meant something else. "... And... What's that?" Time to think of a plan B to escape the awkward situation if he did admit that was what he meant.

"Hey I'm just sayin' you brought it up," Titus shrugged like it was no big deal. Maybe this wasn't so bad, he could get used to it couldn't he? He hadn't had a nose bleed yet that was always a good sign.
Though as Titus looked around and saw the numerous cats lounging around and rolling in the remains of the catnip he realized what a buzz kill that was. Especially since there was cat butt right by his head...gross.
"I don't see what the big deal about it is anyway. It's just sex." Super. Romantic.

Yeah. There he went again.
Riyo sighed, her arms moving for the hard wood floor to try and carefully push herself up, lest she yank away from him and hurt herself. "You wouldn't." It was hard to be mad like this. Maybe he would actually get a rational answer out of her. "It's obvious you don't think about things other than how it's going to effect you, so let me lay down a couple of things to clarify my answer." Riyo attempted to sit up, her head remaining close so that she didn't accidentally get her ears pulled. "First things first, All you do is take. I never get anything from you, not even when I ask." And she had, the last time he was around. All he did was call her crazy. That had felt five kinds of wonderful for sure. "Second, you're expecting me to do everything when I really wouldn't even know where to start."
Sure. She had read books.... But as Riyo had found out reading about something didn't automatically make you a master at it. Moreover... She really didn't want to become a master at that anyways.
"And last but not least, have you even thought of the repercussions? That maybe doing such a thing with me would be... I don't know... BAD?" She was an emotional basket case. There was no telling what... Intimacy would do to her.
Hey, that came out clearer than she thought it would. Relaxation for the win. Of course, there were other reasons she hadn't listed, but three was sufficient enough, right? He would leave her alone after this. Surely he would. The whole 'it's just sex' thing did irk her, but she had already discovered today how remarkably stupid he was.

Titus smirked as Riyo pushed herself up a little, being sure to keep a firm hold on her ear. It was the only leverage he had at the moment honestly. "You know that's what I enjoy about you Riyo." Enjoy, not so much like but was entertained by. "You're straight forward and don't spout bullshit. We are very much alike you and I, in it for ourselves and nobody else."
He pushed himself up a little to rest on his elbow. "I think you put too much thought into a simple act. It's not like we're trying to have scarelings, like I'll wisk you away to get married. Its simply another way to have fun. Where's the Riyo from Prom anyway? The one who didn't seem to give a s**t about the world?"
