Hachi stood up, leaving the helpful books open to the pages of which have the most use to him. He made his way to the raised platform once more and retrieved a piece of parchment as well as a pencil. Upon arriving back at the table in which he has inhabited for the last day or so, he sat down.
He began to inscribe, with the pencil, onto the paper with incredible speed, copying down every bit of useful information that he found in the books, permanently inking the information into his mind with every stroke of the graphite. In only moments, Hachi moved past his first page of information, mindlessly copying down everything that was written in the marked pages of the books that he had paid unbelievable attention to in the previous hours in the academy.

Hachi finally finished his writing, dropping the pencil in his cramped hand. He shook out his wrist, violently sending his hand through the air in every which way, until blood fully returned to his muscles. He stood up, closing each book that sat open on the table, stacking them all together. He then made his way back to the shelves, slowly shifting through each section, returning every book he had previously found helpful, but had fully served their purpose.
Hachi returned to his table with haste, picking up a fairly thick stack of handwritten papers as well as a now short graphite pencil. He set the pencil onto the stack of papers which he clutched between his arm and his chest, moving over to the table. Promptly after setting down his papers, he labeled them “A complete works of the composition of weapons, both common and unique.” Hachi turned around, continuing back to the bookshelves, this time he made his way to the far left, past every type of jutsu and chakra, and then to the complete biographical section.
In the section he found a vast variety of biographies, the largest being in relation to the ninja of Suna. He picked up books on the Sandaime and Yondaime Kazekage. After picking them up, he carried on his search, finding a large book on the biography of the Godaime hokage, and next to that, he found a complete documentation of the shukaku.

Hachi’s thoughts raced through his head as he thought of how each book could be helpful. His earlier readings on the composition of the weapons could both aid in manipulating the weapons as well as destroying them in order to produce iron dust.
The new books of which he picked up most recently would be helpful in studying the way that his ancestors did in order to create the very jutsu he now looks to use. Learning to use the jutsu in the most creative and helpful ways by finding and expanding upon how the Sandaime and Yondaime kazekage did as well as studying the Shukaku for basic uses and movements, what a better way to learn a jutsu then from the source. By studying Gaara, Hachi will have the ability to create new and useful jutsu through the same way that the godaime kazekage did.

Hachi set down the few books that he gathered this time, with a large clap, they landed on the table. He sat down and proceeded to open the first book. The many experiences of the Sandaime kazekage were interesting, but not well documented. The Jutsu he used were still mysterious at the time, and this was clearly show through the style of writing used in the book. The book was, however, thorough and honest in its implications of the third’s powers. While alive, the Third was hailed as the strongest Kazekage in the village's history, and even a very powerful shinobi like Sasori
claimed that he had trouble killing him. He also appeared to have
possessed a high level of intelligence as he was able to comprehend One-Tail's unique powers and produce his own version of the same.
The Third possessed the kekkei genkai Magnet Release which allowed him to convert his chakra into magnetic forces and magnetise an object.
Combined with his research of Shukaku's powers, he crafted his own version of "sand-manipulation", the Iron Sand,
by combining his magnetic force control with iron powder; this was the main reason why he was considered the strongest Kazekage there was. His magnetic control also granted him immunity from all metallic weapons, as well as the ability to nullify opposing puppets by clogging their joints with sand. With this "sand", he could make any
weapon to fit any occasion, thereby making this a very versatile technique, which Chiyo considered to be the "most feared weapon in the history of Sunagakure.” Such information would be most helpful in Hachi’s experimenting with his own abilities.

Hachi continued to the second book over the Yondaime hokage, though much of it would be frivolous information to Hachi’s cause, it was still interesting as well as helpful. The fact he was the Kazekage implies that he himself is a very powerful shinobi. He was shown to be quite
observant, pinpointing Gaara's Third Eye that was spying on them after Mū sensed his chakra. He also has the same stationary type fighting style as his son.
The Fourth Kazekage possesses the kekkei genkai Magnet Release. When using his kekkei genkai, dark rings appear around the Kazekage's eyes, similar to those around Gaara's.
He uses this ability to manipulate Gold Dust as his weapon in a similar manner to that of Gaara's sand, being capable of summoning large quantities of these
particles as necessary seemingly from the immediate vicinity around him, over relativity short spans of time. This dust can also be used as defensive wall. He is also able to use the Third Eye technique.
Due to the fact that gold is heavier than sand, he was able to use this additional weight to subdue even Shukaku the last time it went on a rampage and later
stopped a massive amount of sand during his battle with his son, simply by mixing the two substances together. The fourth kazekage has massive power, and that power would help to allude to the massive power that more advanced techniques, such as gold dust manipulation can lead to.

Hachi opened the last to books in unison comparing the facts and abilities of both Gaara of the desert, and the deadly Shukaku. Studying these techniques, Hachi would gain insight on the same information that his Ancestors found so long ago.
As the host of Shukaku, Gaara possesses the ability to manipulate sand, typically moving it through the air to serve various purposes. Being a jinchūriki, Gaara has a large amount of stamina and huge levels of chakra as noted by Kiba and thus is able to use many chakra-taxing sand-based techniques, sometimes in quick succession, before becoming exhausted. The amount of sand he can control at one time is immense: he could use a massive amount of sand to fully transform into Shukaku, as well as create a tsunami of sand to fight Kimimaro. In Part II he is able to gather enough sand to shield the entire village of Sunagakure from Deidara's C3, as well as assist in stopping a giant meteorite, albeit, at great physical exertion. If sand is lacking in abundance, Gaara can break down the earth minerals in the ground to create more sand. While he can control any dry sand, ordinary sand requires more chakra to manipulate, tiring him at a rapid rate. As a result, Gaara keeps his own chakra-infused sand with him at all times, in a calabash gourd also made out of sand on his back. Because this sand is already infused with his chakra, Gaara has a great deal more control over it, enabling stronger and faster attacks with it.
During battle, Gaara rarely moves, attacking with his sand from a single location, and rarely uses taijutsu. When first introduced, his basic means of attacks is to first use Sand Binding Coffin to capture, immobilise, and potentially suffocate an opponent with sand. Once the opponent is subdued, he uses Sand Waterfall Funeral to cause the sand to implode crush the opponent with varying intensities. Though he comes up with other means of attack throughout the series, the "catch and crush" tactic remains at the centre of his fighting style. Gaara attempted to use it four times on Kimimaro, but Kimimaro's sturdy bone structure made him a frustrating target. As the second element of his combat style, Gaara has a number of sand-based defences to be used in case an opponent gets too close. His primary defence is his Shield of Sand, an automatic sand shield that surrounds and protects him from damage whether he wants it to or not. Gaara can control the shield to some degree, strengthening it to steel-like quality or calling upon it to completely encase himself. While an effective defence, the shield can be overcome with high-speed attacks, or simply be broken through with incredibly forceful strikes. Should this happen, Gaara has a layer of sand covering his body called the Armour of Sand. Although it's a useful secondary defence, the armour requires large amounts of chakra to remain active, and also has the side-effect of weighting Gaara down. Despite this, the defences offered by his sand are so powerful, they have been named the "Absolute Defence" (絶対防御, Zettai Bōgyo). During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Gaara's Absolute Defence was so great, Naruto expressed belief that Gaara retain the best defence of anyone. Furthermore, Gaara can crush the hardest minerals in the ground together to create a shield in shape of Shukaku's body or, in the anime, a spear in the shape of its arm for combat.
In addition to these basic methods of offence and defence, Gaara also has a number of miscellaneous techniques that, while capable of being used as attacks or defences of sorts, are not limited to such purposes. By making a sand clone of himself, Gaara can have an ally to be used in battle, or as a mere distraction to be used to buy him time. Unlike most other clone techniques in the series, the Sand Clone can retain its shape after more than one attack, and can even reform itself or capture an opponent upon being dispersed. With Desert Suspension, Gaara can use sand as a platform, to allow himself and others to float in the air. His Third Eye also allows him to create a floating eyeball of sand in any location, which he can see through as a means of spying, or to guide his attacks while completely enclosed by his defences. He also claimed that he can ride his sand to reach the Island Turtle, and would have been faster than if Ōnoki went there. His sand can also be used as sensing device: Gaara can detect when others come into contact with it, even from far away. The sensing of his sand is so great, it was able to find Mū on several occasions, as well as the Giant Clam. Despite the removal of Shukaku, Gaara can still use his sand like before. According to Sasuke at the Kage Summit, Gaara's Absolute Defence is still alive and well. Not only that, but the sand has also massively improved in speed, defence, and offence since the last time they met as it was not only able to protect him and others from a cave-in, but also block A, block Amaterasu several times without being burned through or into — a feat that impressed Sasuke Uchiha, as well as block Madara Uchiha's complete Susanoo's sword and still protect him even when it was barraged by four others right afterwards. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Gaara's sand powers were so strong that his father believed he had fully transformed into Shukaku and was later surprised to see that was not the case. Gaara was able to quickly manoeuvre his sand above his father's Gold Dust, despite its superior weight. Gaara was also able to use sand to stop an enormousmeteorite. He is able to manipulate the sand even when it's saturated with water. He can even block powerful explosions the instant they explode despite the enormous power these techniques held, protecting his village and the division respectively. He was able to integrate gold dust into his sand so that he can use the former - noting that gold was approximately twenty times heavier than water- in order to counter the Steaming Danger Tyranny clone.
It was unknown at first whether or not Gaara's sand defence was still automatic as it was believed that Shukaku was the source of the defence. However, the Fourth Kazekage states that Gaara's mother, Karura, was the true source of the defence, as she truly did love him and vowed to always protect him.

Hachi stood up, almost dizzy from having taken in all of the information that he just did. He reached into the pouch that sat just above his butt, strapped to his waste. He drew a shuriken, setting it down onto the table. He thought back to the reading that he did earlier, remembering the composition of it, as well as how it was created. Thus allowing him to come up with the strongest way to take it apart and form Iron dust.
Hachi began to focus his chakra as he formed a single hand sign. He then touched the shuriken, his chakra compressing itself through the iron throwing star. Almost immediately, it broke apart, falling onto the table as it became only half of its full form, and then there was only a pile of iron sand, left in the wake of his chakra. Making a pulling motion with his hand, he began manipulating the sand, allowing it to flow through the air, though it wasn’t much, it made good practice. The sand floated just above hachi’s hand in an orb shape. he clenched his fist, allowing the sand to compress itself and reform the shuriken. The weapon still hovered in the air, but this time Hachi flicked his wrist, and the shuriken reacted, flying at a shelf of books. Just before it reached the books, Hachi opened his hand, the shuriken thus losing its form once more, stopping flat against the bookcase, becoming a large grouping of iron sand.
He brought the iron back to his position, it flowed about the room, orbiting about Hachi’s body. Hachi allowed it to compact itself once more, become a shuriken and land gently into hachi’s hand at which point he slid it gently back into its place in the tan pouch. He gathered his books and moved over to the shelves, setting each one in its designated place, given to it by its individual number. The books on each of the Kazekage were numbered closely while the Shukaku information was placed in an area of its own. This gave a slight allusion to the way the books in this large library were organized.

Hachi walked back to the table, pacing about, trying to take in all of his increases in power that had come about in the several days that had only recently passed. He then turned around, suddenly remembering a lesser known cloud ninja with magnetic abilities that are some how related to the Jiton style, and, this being the largest library in the world, their must exist a book that includes information on his techniques. Hachi quickly made his way to the bookshelves, scanning across the area in relation to Kumo ninja. On the third shelf down, Hachi would find a rather thick book labeled Curious clans of Kumogakure. Hachi slowly slid it out from the large group of books, carrying it over to the table. With a large plop, he allowed it to fall onto the soft blue surface. Hachi sat down, flipping the book open to the table of contents, finding a chapter labeled Magnetic Mysteries. It appeared to have a full six pages to it. Hachi ripped the book open to the section, quickly skimming past the useless sections, Toroi's biography, personal life, weapons of choice, so on, so forth. Hachi finally arrived at a section about his Jutsu. He quickly learned about Toroi's ability to send waves of his Magnetic chakra into a weapon, and then transfer the magnetic chakra into his opponent, successfully magnetizing said person.
While magnetized, weapons thrown at the opponent are attracted to the opponent, increasing the chance of a successful hit tenfold. Hachi continued reading into specifics, learning about required hand seals, direct chakra patterns, etc.

Hachi slapped the book on Toroi closed, clipping his hand onto it and dragging it off of the desk and into his grasp. He carried it over to the bookshelf, finding the large gap in the shelf, he slowly slid it into the slot between two other large books. He carried on to his left, walking up the short distance onto the raised floor.
Turning swiftly, Hachi slid open the door to the secret Satetsu shrine. Hachiko walked over to the table, crouching downward, he lifted the cloth that sat beneath the shrine. He reached into the storage compartment and pulled out several scrolls for his coming training. He grabbed the small vile of sand as well as he ran from the room with great haste, making his way back to the table, while closing the door with his leg while mid-stride.
Hachi let the scrolls fall across the table. He quickly located the one he wanted. As he pulled it open, images illustrated the creation of an iron ball created at the tip of the user's fingers and shot outwards at high speeds. The images were fairly self-explanatory, and fallowing the simple instructions, Hachi began to replicate the jutsu at hand, holding out his finger, he gathered the iron sand from the vile that he obtained from the shrine, it quickly formed a small metallic ball. In an instant, the ball shot outwards, it hit the bare wall with great speeds, leaving a deep hole, despite the small circumference. Hachi released the rest of his fingers, the metal sand releasing itself and floating outwards from its previous position within the earthen wall.

Hachi made his way back to his table, carefully sitting down. He grabbed a new croll this one illustrating a person creating a clone of themselves with the iron sand that he had only recently become accustomed to using. He realized that he would need a much large supply of iron sand then he was included in the vile he found earlier. He returned the sand to the glass container with a mere beckoning motion of his hand. Running, he made his way to the platform that allowed him to return to the shack. Quickly, all light disappeared, but in the same instance that it left, it returned as he arrived to the surface. He opened the shack door, barely taking a step outside. Looking down to the dirt, he formed a single hand sign and pressed his hand down against its hard earthen form. The ground cracked in on itself, resulting in a fair amount of iron sand rising into the air. Twisting his hand, Hachi allowed it to take new form as a gourd, filled with their iron dust companions. The gourd was grey, with a pure black sash composed of more tightly compact sand. It was similar in size to the one the fifth kazekage carried in his days as a genin.
Hachiko quickly made his way back into the shack and into the dark shaft before arriving in the gigantic library. He motioned the iron sand from the gourd strapped to his back. This time forming a single hand sign that beckoned the sand into a new shape, forming a humanoid shape that eventually condensed into features the same as Hachi. He then pointed to the clone and it fell apart, slowly, the sand was individually lifted, separating the humanoid form eventually becoming unidentifiable. The sand then moved back to its place in the gourd.

Hachi looked back to the table where the mess of scrolls sat, sprawled about. He moved swiftly to the table, drawing forth a scroll of which was a continuation of the Hagane Bunshin no jutsu. As he carefully studied it, he found the key to the manipulation, being able to successfully manipulate the every aspect of the clone to change its appearance to anything of the approximate size. With this ability, Hachi could manage to infiltrate enemy buildings by manipulating the humanoid figure. The technique was fairly simple in nature as it really only requires a basic understanding and ability to manipulate iron sand to any given shape.

Hachi began moving to look for control of a new jutsu. As such, he moved on to a new scroll. The scroll was filled with unique images of how to manipulate the iron sand in order to properly using Satetsu Kesshuu.
The first picture illustrated the very basics of iron sand manipulation, revealing how to expand your chakra into the iron sand for manipulative purposes. It showed the images of a hand with the chakra focused into it, expanding outwards into the sand and moving upon the request of the user.
The second picture illustrated how to compact the sand in order to use the powerful technique that is Satetsu Kesshuu. The image depicts the hand of a young man clenched, and the sand, in reaction, compressing itself into the desired shape with an extreme density for maximum power.

Upon the realization that he would need more information in order to successfully master this technique, Hachi moved over to the bookshelves, escaping his place in the chair. As he ventured over to the bookshelf, he found two books rather quickly, one on the Sandaime kazekage, and the other on Sasori as well as his many puppets.
Hachi quickly moved back to the table, opening the first book on the Sandaime kazekage to learn about his many unique uses of his iron sand. Upon reaching the book on Sasori, Hachi quickly skipped to the pages which gave information on Sasori’s sandaime kazekage puppet which was well known for using the Satetsu Kesshuu skill. Though this research was fairly intensive, it wasn’t of much help in the expansion of Hachi’s techniques.

Hachi stood up from his seat, stretching outwards. He then walked casually over to the open place on the floor which had been pretty well claimed as his own. He sat down, his legs crossed, and began focusing his chakra into the sand that sat, stoic, within his gourd. By the power of his mind alone, he summoned the powerful torrents of iron sand that began to swirl around Hachi.
He began forming different shapes, doing his best to compress it into more dense forms of what they previously were. Hachi then allowed the shapes to join back into the furious torrent that were previously swirling about his person. Periodically the torrent would stop to form new shapes almost as though they were without any guidance at all, such fluid motions.

Hachiko Hokkaido ╔══════════════════════════╗ [Dual Jutsu/Medical] | [Sunagakure] | [Genin] | [Earth/Lightning] Satetsu Kesshuu Training
The torrent suddenly stopped as all of the iron sand was collected into a massive cube floating about the center of the library. Hachi carefully brought his open hand out in front of him, pointed towards the impressive cube. He clenched his hand into a fist, allowing the iron cube to compress itself into a smaller but more dense cube. The form now had massive crushing power as it was dense enough to crush the earth that inhabited the earth around him. The formerly gray shape was now a dark black color with only spots of grey where the light seemed to reflect.
Hachi opened his hand, allowing the sand to separate and take position in his gourd once more. He stood up carefully as he walked to the platform that began raising Hachi into the dark shaft nearly immediately. The light soon returned to Hachi as he came into the small shack. He quickly made his way to the door, forcing it open and his way outwards into the desert. The wind was strong, bringing pieces of sand upwards into the sky. The cloth garments that sat over Hachi’s mouth blew about in the wind.
