Attacking Utrin
Kala took the opportunity of Lorrono stumbling back to peek at Talakor's fight. He was on the defensive, which was unusual. That must not be going well and he would need a hand. She looked back at Lorrono as he spoke, making sure to make eye contact, and gave him a disappointed look and shake of her head.
Since it looked like Lorrono was still hesitating, Kala suddenly ran the few steps to the other fight and aimed a kick at Utrin's legs.

Defending from Utrin
Talakor blocked the next hit and grinned at Utrin cheekily. He was getting to him. Idiot. Then again, his body was starting to ache, so maybe Tal was the idiot here. "So I've been told."
He let out a sigh of relief as Kala came into the picture and drove a kick home on Utrin, leaving Talakor free to take a step back.

Attacking Kala
The girl came out of nowhere very suddenly and Utrin cursed as her kick caught him in the thigh. He lashed out with a punch in her direction as well, hoping to throw her back enough that he could find a better place than caught between two opponents. Where had the other Sharding apprentice gotten to! He needed another on his side!

Attacking Kala
Lorrono's eyes widened as Kala ran from him and helped Talakor gang up on Utrin. He hadn't expected her to run away when they weren't fighting!
Knowing Utrin would be angry if he didn't help, Lorrono hesitated only a second before barreling across the room and trying to tackle Kala, drive her away from Utrin.

Attacking Lorrono
The tackle caught Kala by surprise, and she staggered a few steps, grabbing onto her attacker at an attempt to get her balance back. She punched at his head several times, trying to force Lorrono to release her so she could return to helping Talakor.

Attacking Utrin
Taking advantage of the distraction Kala had afforded him, Talakor tried to punched the unsuspecting Utrin in the side of the face, but only succeeding in missing entirely. He frowned briefly, but when Utrin looked back at him, surprised, Talakor just smiled in a friendly manner.
"No chance of us working this out like reasonable folk, is there?"

Attacking Talakor
Utrin glared at Talakor. The boy had tried to hit him while he wasn't looking. Well, that shouldn't have been such a surprise, he supposed. Utrin had little sense of humor and he knew it, so it was no wonder Talakor's flippancy was irritating him.
He lashed out at the boy with his fists again, but this time Talakor managed to dance away from his strikes.

Lorrono made a small sound as Kala began beating at his head and hunched up his shoulders to try to protect himself. He finally dared to release her so that he could use his arms to protect himself as well, disliking the feeling of his head spinning.

Released, Kala glanced at Lorrono just once to make sure he wasn't going to immediately attack her again and put herself back into the fray with Utrin, shoving him roughly at the wall and following up with a stomp on his foot.
"Stop playing, Tal," Kala suggested, keeping her eyes on Utrin and Lorrono so that she wouldn't be taken unaware again.

"Oh ho ho ho, no," Talakor said, taking a few quick, bouncing steps away from Utrin's punch. "I don't think so. I'm also going to take that as a no."
Talakor saw Utrin start to snarl at him before Kala interfered by shoving him back into the wall. He shook his head as she stomped on Utrin's foot for good measure, and grinned broadly.
"Probably should have been reasonable, mate," Tal suggested, giving Utrin a love tap of his own.

Defending against Talakor
Utrin grunted as he hit the wall and then took a ringing blow to the head. He shoved at Kala, but then was forced to avoid Talakor's secondary hit as well. He was getting overwhelmed here, when things had been going so well for him before. Where was that boy!
"Get over here and get them off!" he bellowed at Lorrono, who wasn't doing much of anything as far as he could tell.

Attacking Talakor
Lorrono had noticed that Kala only hit him when he attacked her, for the most part. Whether that was because she didn't think of him as a worthy opponent or because she didn't want to fight him, Lorrono didn't know, but it made him hesitant to hit her again, especially when he didn't seem to be affecting her that much.
Lorrono winced as Utrin yelled again, and scrambled to obey. He tried another tackle, this time on Talakor. He just wanted to keep them occupied, not fight them. He would only try hitting them again if he had to.

Kala winced away from Lorrono's attack, feeling him rush by behind her.
"Tal!"
However, Utrin was her main concern right now. If she could get him down, knock him unconscious, maybe Lorrono would stop as well. With no partner, he wasn't likely to take both of them on, especially if she could convince him to rethink his decision.
"You've made a mistake. I hope you get punished for it," Kala said grimly, her usual amiability gone. She lashed out with her fist again, hoping to end the fight quickly.

Attacking Lorrono
Tal had turned when Utrin had shouted at Lorrono, prepared to take whatever hit was coming Kala's way. He didn't need the extra warning, since he was watching Lorrono approach, but he was surprised the boy was choosing him as his target. Tal frowned and as Lorrono reached him quickly sidestepped so that the boy fell into the door instead.
"Get the Shells away from me!" he snapped at Lorrono, kicking at the back of his knee so that he would end up on the floor. "You must be some kind of stupid, siding with this guy and his crazy friends. They're trying to kill people, or didn't you know that?"

Utrin dodged Kala's blow, incensed by her words. A mistake? Never. This was the best thing he could do for himself and his partner.
"Look again, girl," he replied briefly, trying to drive a knee up into her groin. Oh, it wouldn't hurt as much as on a man, but Utrin was sure it would hurt somewhat.
