They both sunk into the water, and she exhaled quietly as her body descended into the water. She loved the water, it was like her mate. Maybe that was why she was unable to keep Mkhai around, her heart was promised to this vast ocean.. and there was just no denying it.
The moon glittered around her, and she shot another look at Mkhai. Leaning in, she licked his cheek, and smiled.
"Bet ya can't catch me." She said whispering just high enough to be heard over the ocean. She couldn't be with him forever, but she certainly could be with him now.
