Damir nodded. "I see.. You are preparing for the war.." He said looking away. He should be back home with Kyri, helping her... but he had run off and had children, came back and ran off Thal's bonded.. That didn't seem to be helping the war efforts at all. "What about your mate?" Damir asked.

"Mate? What mate? I uh I don't have one." Sky blushed madly. "I have cousins that consume all my time. So yah no mate." Sky giggled. Trying to find mates it like them having to run a gauntlet through all the singles in the herd. Poor things."

"Well truth be told I was hiding from my cousins. It always hunt this, stalk that tick this or that parent off. Its a lot of work being friends with them and I was hoping not to get clobbered today." Sky grinned. "This is my first chance at piece in a while. Apparently the two found some insult in each other and are keeping themselves occupied."

Damir chuckled. "You are close to your cousins then, yes? I envy you.. I did not.. and still do not, have a large family. It was only me and my mother.. then my friend and then she and I both Chose... so.. that's the extent of my familial knowledge." He grinned softly.

Damir looked away, almost in shame but he pushed it down. "I just needed to get away for a bit.. My friend was upset at something I had done.. and ran off.. I guess I was kinda looking for her though not really." He answered. After a moment he smiled up at Skyfyre. "But lucky me, I met a gorgeous guy who gave me shelter from the rain." He flirted casually. There ya are.. get back on your game, Damir.. You used to be so good at this game. Get back in the saddle as Aila would say.

Sky blushed furiously. "Handsome me? Really? I guess I never really thought about it before. Of course my father was rather attractive and my mother was absolutely gorgeous so I guess I could be? Not like you, you are quite blatantly beautiful.

Sky thougth he was going to keel over. "A-an angel? Good heavens no. That would be my mother for sure. I'm sure there is enough of my father in me to discredit my angelic status. I'm more of a gentle rebel. And swirls arn't as common as you would think. The only on in our herd with swirls is cousin Schuyler."

"My mother had wings, though they were too small to fly. She loved them at times, and hated them at others. She said they always seemed to get in the way at the worst possible moment." "It is as long as you don't catch one of the really strong down currents. They slam you unceremoniusly into the ground with very little warning." Sky winced. "They hurt lots, but the rest is excellent, kinda like running top speed, cept with no ground beneath your hooves."
