Arashi blinked curiously at Terra's explanation of her evolved form, trying to imagine sand that wouldn't ever come off something. Unfortunately, all he could come up with was something more like plastic... "Does the sand harden around you or something, in that case, to make it so you couldn't take it off?" he asked, perplexed. Burmy certainly were strange creatures, having two routes of evolutionary changes based on gender, but he supposed most people would consider eevees to be rather strange in similar regard. Strange or not, though, she was certainly interesting once she began to open up like this!
In all Arashi's time in town, he had never once run across a poison-type pokémon before. He knew they existed, but it wasn't until now that he noticed he'd never been around one to confirm or deny what sort of pungent odor they gave off, so he was going to have to take Terra's word on it. He wrinkled his nose briefly before perking up with a flick of the ears, "Garbage ones? Do they actually smell like trash?" Well if that were the case, at least he had a familiar smell to go by, in relation! Tugging at his collar a bit, he made a face, "Well... I'm glad I don't smell like that, at least!" He'd been around trash bins so often, after all -- as a stray, one got used to the smell. With a smirk, Arashi reinforced that Tackle was a good move, "But of course! Sure, it'd be best to learn both types of moves, but who would really expect a burmy to come charging at them? I think it's a great surprise strategy!" Terra did seem pretty meek, after all, so who better to use a move like that?
How to explain the taste of meat to someone who had never tried it before, though? His attention turned away in thought, considering how to respond, "Well... it's kind of hard to explain, since it's not really like anything else, and it really depends on how it's prepared. I suppose if you've never had any before, you're likely not built to metabolize it, though." It wouldn't do to make her sick, he was supposed to be helping her! As the small, sandy pokémon agreed with the posed suggestion, the eevee-boy watched her inch toward the upper embankment a bit before charging that way himself, only so far as to see a bit further in the distance. Once up, he stopped and turned back around, "It looks like there are bushes, but I'm not sure what kind." Huh, she wasn't the fastest pokémon, was she? With a deliberating frown, he made a different offer, "You want me to carry you over? Might go faster that way..." Unless she suddenly sprouted wings and started flying, that is.
