"Thanks Marcus." Welp, one devious plan for 10 bucks down, only ninty to go! Though if she got closer to her goal and only had maybe 20 left, Ceres would probably shove the remainder out of her own pocket as well. She stared down at the tin can she was holding and before walking out of the gym she deposited it on one of the many tables lining the walls. She shoved the ten in her pocket, and decided she did not need to seem like some hobo to do this. Sighing she looked around and wandered towards the training fields. There was usually people out there, she even spotted another person she knew instantly. There were others of course, including a blond kid close by, but the dark skinned woman was whom really had her attention. "Hey candace?" She called out to announce her approach, no need to scare a hunter in training... could mean for startled projectiles. "I need a favor possibly? This hunter named Mark just sent me on a mission to basically collect money, i dont know if he expects me to whore myself out or what but Could i borrow some money? I can either pay you back when i have it or i could owe you a favor if you wished." Turning she squinted at the blond kid, actually needing to blink and stare for a moment. "Hey i know him.." She mumbled to herself, last time she saw him though he was not a full fledged hunter. Cupping her hands around her mouth, she called out to him as well. "HEY GALE IS THAT YOU?"

Her training period was finished but she couldn't slack off. A lazy hunter was a dead hunter, right? She had priorities to consider. She could go visit H, relax, have a good time...or she could train, work out, and keep herself ready for anything. She liked being alive, thanks. At least she wasn't just destroying the dummies in a violent fit of rage again, this time she wasn't even hitting it hard. Enough to work up a sweat, though. As Ceres arrived she was wiping her face off with a towel and considering going back to her room for a cold shower until she heard her name called. She blinked, peeking past the edge of the towel. Eh? Oh! Ceres~! "Hey! What's up?" The towel was draped across her shoulders behind her neck, gripping each end of it. "...Mark sent you on a mission?" She raised a brow. "Money, huh? How much do you need? I don't have any cash on me but I can get some...and you won't need to whore yourself out to me, either. Promise." Candace gave a soft chuckle, following Ceres' gaze to Gale. Her grin widened. "Didn't see you here, Gale~!" She called out cheerfully, unsummoning Atropos for now.

He was training - as usual - when he heard the voice. Gale, his hands wrapped in layers of bandages, and dressed in a short sleeved teeshirt and a pair of sweats, turned his head to find out who was calling him.
Ceres really was the last person he expected to see.
"Oh," he said, and blinked, mildly surprised, but he made his way across the field to where she was standing, Candace beside her. He gave her a nod and then looked over at Ceres, sliding his hands into the pockets of his pants.
"What's up?"

She smiled but waited until Gale was closer before continuing to talk, not exactly wanting to repeat herself too much. Her face was tinged with pink, a clear sign that she was blushing. "Mark apparently needs 100 dollars, he was in the library bawwing and being loud about something on his computer. I asked him to be quiet and in return he 'ordered me', as a superior, to go and collect money for him like some hobo." She sighed heavily, shaking her head at the both of them. "I would pay for it myself but i don't have that much right now. As i was asking Candace a second ago i was wondering if i could borrow some money from you both, I'd return the money when i could or even take favors or IOU's or... i don't even know." The huntress was clearly displeased, it showed on her face even as she spoke about the ridiculous mission to line Marks pockets. She felt like a beggar and she HATED asking for s**t like this. "Anything would be helpful, really."

As Gale approached Candace grinned, reaching out to playfully ruffle his hair. She was hot and sweaty from the time she'd spent attacking the dummy, she wasn't going to hug him like this. A hundred bucks? That wasn't terrible. Candace laughed, ruffling her hair a bit. "Wow, seriously? Mark is an idiot. The last time I saw him Aria, Caelius and I interrupted him while he was--" Oh, wait. Gale was here. Her cheeks flushed and she quickly moved on. "Uh...anywaaaaay. He's probably gonna spend it on alcohol anyway." Which meant Candace didn't want to give a lot of money to such a cause, but she didn't want to leave Ceres hanging. "How much have you gotten so far? Don't worry about paying me back if it's not a lot." It was clear Ceres wasn't enjoying this. Candace felt bad. Mark was an idiot.

Quirking an eyebrow at Candace Ceres decided, by her tone of voice, she really did not want to know what she had caught Mark doing. Knowing him? Nothing good. "Either way, i have to listen... you know how it is." She shrugged her shoulders, Candace had once been in her shoes. Being a called a 'trainee' was relevant sometimes in her opinion, other times she thought their title was more like 'slave' or 'b***h'. Candace was a hunter now, so she didn't get odd missions like this anymore right?
Instinctivly she shoved a hand into her pocket, feeling the bill which was crumpled up there. "I got 10 dollars from Marcus, im planning on forking over 20, its all i can afford right now. So, 30 dollars." She waved a hand at the girl as she said not to worry about it. "If you don't let me pay you back then at least let me owe you a favor, you can cash in later or something. Thats what Markus did."

So she had thirty bucks toward her goal, huh? Candace hummed. "Count me in for fifty, then. You'll have it by the end of the day.." But Ceres was quite insistent on getting a chance to repay her for this be it monetary or otherwise. Candace chuckled and shook her head. "No, it's fine. Really. I don't make pretty ladies pay me back~." Smooth, Candace. Real smooth.

"Wha- what!" Ceres all but gawked at the offer of the 50, that was..a LOT of money! "Nonono, Candace, Darl, i cant take that much without a IOU or even a favored owed." Her mouth was semi agape, and she eyes candace curiously with a laugh. "And i don't let pretty ladies get away from debts owed either!" Ceres crossed her arms, giving Candace her best 'try and stop me' look. "Even if you wont accept it you'll either A: some day find a fifty in your sock drawer, or B: Suddenly find a extra set of hands helping out." eight DETERMINED FACE IS DETERMINED

Damn, she was insistent. Candace pouted her lips and rest her hands on her hips, shaking her head. "While I'm flattered you think I'm pretty, if I find money in my sock drawer it's going to wind up in your pocket." She wasn't going to back down on this, Ceres. There was a pause. How to clear this debt... She smiled, a hand coming up to lightly tap a finger against her lips. "I want a kiss."

Ceres had been expecting anything... maybe help on a mission, guard duty, cleaning out the other girls room, SCRUBBING HER SHOES, grunt work, something, anything.
What she asked for on the other hand, now THAT was not something she would have expected in a million years from Candace. Granted, she should have. A kiss was what she traded Marcus for the money, not to marcus but more a ...IOU to get back at Mark. She owed Dakota a kiss.
Long story short, why was everyone requesting kisses from her? AHMG.
She stared at Candace for longer than a moment, quirking a brow to give her a 'really, your serious?' look. Was Candace bluffing? She had to be. The only bad thing about this all, was Ceres was competitive enough in spirit that she usually always called bluffs. Always. Plus, she in her past had kissed other woman before...though that was, usually, while intoxicated.
So what did she do? After glancing around, oh lord Gale was there...sigh. No one else? Okay. Fine, let him be witness then. "Fifty, and we call this even yes?" Leaning in, she paused briefly, before she closed the distance and kissed Candace, on the lips as required.
Ceres had told herself she would not be whoring herself for this 100 dollars, she was seriously questioning her judgement call on that now.

Yes, Candace was serious. No, she wasn't bluffing. She wanted a kiss. It meant Ceres would leave her alone about the stupid debt there didn't need to be. So when Ceres spoke she grinned and nodded. "Yup. You won't owe me anything." She quietly reached out to put a hand on Gale's shoulder and turn him so he wasn't watching. Sure, he'd probably look away out of embarrassment or politeness but she did it just to be absolutely sure.
The kiss was nice...it was nice though. Candace didn't just want nice. She pulled the girl closer, tipping Ceres' head back a bit with a hand against the underside of her chin and resting her other hand at Ceres' hip. If Candace was taking a kiss as 'payment' for giving someone fifty bucks, she was getting a fifty dollar kiss. It was more than just a peck on the lips, though it wasn't a savage or rough kiss by any means. It was sweet, gentle. She may have wanted a kiss from the girl but she didn't want to scare Ceres off!
After a few moments she released the girl, giving her a light kiss against her forehead before sighing contently and stretching her arms above her head much like a pleased cat. "Well, that was lovely! So you need twenty dollars now, right? That's hardly anything at all~. What's your room number again? I'll stop by with my share later."

For a brief moment she expected that to be it, just a simple peck but... she should have known better. Judging by her reaction, the other woman had not been bluffing at all. She had been serious about the kiss, and was serious about making it worth while. She was stiff at first, caught off guard, but after a few brief moments Ceres gave herself in to the kiss. Heck if she was doing this she might as well make sure it was enjoyable for them both at least. Thankfully for Candace, Ceres was no newbie to this. Not the best probably, but no where near the worst... she hoped. Candace was not bad at this herself. The kiss was, very nice.
By the time they broke apart, Ceres had also placed both her hands on the other womans hips in reaction. She ended up snorting softly, taking her hands back from the other as she stretched out her training wary muscles. "And here i thought you were bluffing, Candace." But yes, in a silent nod, she would agree. It had been a long while since Ceres really gave herself over to someone like that, too long. It did feel nice to let lose randomly, even if she really was not one to usually give affection out that way to just anyone. The only thing leaving her in that 'awkward duckling' phase was probably the fact that Ceres had never kissed another woman without some sort of alcohol in the blood, you own that right now Candace! "Though uhm, you can just drop the whole 50 back later if youd like? Mark can wait, he did not give me a real time limit after all." Mischievous grin, oh yeah mark can wait for his damn money. Maybe then he would appreciate her... probably not.
"Its room 131. And Candace? Thanks."

"Ah, darlin'. I never bluff when it comes to that." Candace teased with a purring voice, playfully tapping Ceres' nose with one finger. She gave a shrug at the suggestion to drop it off whenever, settling her weight into one leg with her hands on her hips. "Sure, whatever you want. There's also no rule that you have to give it to him right away even when you have it, riiiiight?" She grinned. She gave a nod when Ceres gave her room number and commit it to memory. She'd definitely be by there later. Hell, maybe she'd get more kisses from the girl before she left. Ceres wasn't bad! "No problem, sweetheart. I'll see you later." Candace leaned in to press a light kiss to the girl's forehead, reaching out to ruffle Gale's hair before she waved to the two of them and walked off to grab her stuff and head back to the dorms. [Exit!]

Gale wasn't even there anymore.
Gale was somewhere very far away by that point.
Like halfway across the island away.
