Here goes: Introducing Kiki La Lark.
No air, it seemed. Air pushed it's way in her lungs, expanding them. Pushed air back out, making Kiki want to keel over. Following someone is one thing, having to and having the alternate route through series and series of back ways and tunnels, is another. Kiki had to draw more than three portals to keep up and it was beginning to take it's toll on her body. Though this did not give her the slightest inkling of regret, accepting the job given to her. When Kiki had a job to do, she saw it through. The fact that the job was an act of secrecy and rebellion only made it better in her eyes. Exhilarating was how she liked it. Except maybe the cardio was a little much.
She collided with a wall in front of her sloppily, her hands digging in her pocket for her pencil. A long, dainty, silver piece of what looked like wood played between her fingers. Closing her eyes, she summoned the energy swirling in her chest. Like another soul.. like a battery that fueled each artist. Except hers was rare, blue. She saw it behind her eyelids whenever she closed her eyes. A wisp, glowing, it existed in her chest cavity like a second heart. Her identity.. and it's light was dimming as she used it more and more. She needed rest, badly.
Dismissing her worries she pulled on the wisp and her hand began to draw on the wall. A large circle, round and big enough to fit a human. Such a simple shape, but a complicated meaning. Meaning.. more than that. Purpose. It was powerful.
She opened her eyes and saw the circle begin to illuminate. Beautiful, as always. Like a pond on the wall, it began rippling and taking shape. Becoming more and more transparent. All of this under a second, she saw it in slow motion every time. Fascinating it was.
A smile approached her lips as the image set, like polaroid. A new window in the wall, before her was a train station, a big old rusty train on the tracks and people. People.. those ones she was ordered to follow. Lovely, if there was a train ride involved, she could replenish her wisp and get some rest. Relief spread through her veins like water on thick blood.
She watched her charge like a lion watching prey, patiently waiting for them to board the train. One by one they disappeared through the door and Kiki's instincts pressed her forward. She jumped to her feet and stepped through the portal. The tunnels were dark where she was, thankfully. She sprinted to the train, ignoring the protests of her tired body. The way her bones were like metal, clashing against her tender muscles every time her foot touched the ground.
Kiki hoisted herself up onto the train, clutching onto a handle. She began to find a way to get inside.

And now it's your turn~
