Bane, while having no real desire to stare at her rear, padded forward once she allowed him to take the lead. He tilted his head left and right, scanning not the tops of the tree's but their roots at first. He was looking for any shed feathers, or signs that a bird might have been this way before letting his gaze flicker to the tops of tree's. "It wont be hard to find the nest, but if they are nocturnal, I shant not desire to awaken them now." he said rather bluntly, meaning he'd probably hang around all day with her until the bird woke up so he could chat to it properly.
A few nests caught his eye but he knew they weren't the ones he was looking for. He traveled a few feet onwards, stopping once he came to a rather large but old looking tree, a nest nestled into the split of two twigs from the same branch. A snoozing bird was inside and a soft smile crept over his muzzle, though it was hard to find. "Aah." he said softly. "There she is."

She sighed. Not knowing when the bird would wake up, Azuza had not idea how long Bane planned to stick around. She couldn't complain, though, since he was helping her. "Fine, then. Don't know what you've got planned while you wait, though." She said, picking her way down a narrow path, vanishing for a moment behind some overgrowth. Since she was going to move out of this thicket, she might as well see if there was anything here she wished to salvage. Even though she didn't have much in the thicket to begin with.
"Since you love feathers, I suppose I could show you a few I've spotted laying around..." She said, popping back through the overgrowth and shaking some of the leaves off.

As she emerged back from the overgrowth, shaking leaves off her, her offer sparked curiosity in him. He somehow managed what was supposed to be the beginnings of a smile as he gazed at her. "That would be quite splendid. I am always in need of more feathers to further my art. I should like to show it to you sometime." he said matter of factly, like an art scholar very much pleased with his work and wanting to show it off only to the select few he deemed worthy.
With a glance around ad her home, he tilted his head curiously. "So you sleep here? But you do seem to be moving... why is that?" he asked, seeing as he would love to live here simply for the birds but his massive art project required a certain amount of space and tools that he could only find where he currently resided.
