Ark leaped back missing most of the Rock Smash. Some bigger rocks hit her this time and she staggered a bit. She quickly caught her footing and darted forward, paws out for another Counter.

Leto shook herself to relieve the effects of Ark's latest counters. They may have been simple blows, but they hit hard due to Leto's small size.
Realizing she wouldn't be able to keep up for long, she shot a quick beam of ice at the Zorua.

Ark was in the process of leaping back when hit with the beam of ice. She fell with a thud that cracked the already weak ice. She would soon be out of it and ready to attack.

Leto twitched her whiskers, surprised to see her attack had struck. Hoping to take advantage of the still-recovering Zorua, she aimed another, longer Ice Beam at her.

Ark quickly shattered the ice and dodged the other beam of ice by a hair. She then was all over Leto striking out with another Counter.

Again Ark was hit with a weak beam of ice. The ice chunk slid back several feet and began to crack. One good hit and she would be out, breaking through to the outside.

Leto scampered around the slightly-frozen Ark, smashing her teeth in display, as if to try and frighten the female into staying frozen. When that didn't work, she directed another Ice Beam towards the Zorua.

Breaking free like some super muscled maniac, Ark quickly scampered out of the way of the Ice Beam. Clearly Leto has not learned her lesson and the only way she would was to bring the beat down. She lunged forward striking with another Counter.

Ark was in the process of lunging forward to strike again when she was frozen. This ice felt much thicker than the last couple of times and she inwardly cursed not being able to move.

Leto crowed atop the solid block of Arkcicle, glad finally for her success. But after a moment, she realized victory was not yet hers, and struck the ice beneath her paws.

Somehow Ark was managing to chip away at the ice inside as her own body heat was melting the ice enough for her to move a bit. When Leto struck the ice more broke off which meant that she would be able to break free soon.
