Firith (with Ralla), Flying; Attacking Calanoth
The young green and her rider had never returned to the gathering of Malvren's resistance following their 'fight' with a revolutionist wherhandler; rather, they had been conspicuously absent. It was time now, though, to reappear and reveal their new allegiance - to prove to everyone once and for all what they were capable of. They would never be disregarded again!
Firith was silent as she swooped into the fray, choosing the most ambitious target on the field: Calanoth. Nevermind that he was already attacking and under attack, he was a metallic, and she was eager to have a piece of one.
She angled in, claws at the ready.

[Acriculeth: Attacking Mazamath]
Under attack by two dragons, Acriculeth was really starting to feel the pain. He wasn't about to give up though; there was still a fight to be fought, and the appearance of a new ally was encouraging. Straight for the bronze; spirited!
Acriculeth purred as he peeled away from Calanoth and on after the blue again. Sweeping his wings back the bronze tried to get underneath Mazamath to rake at his belly.
To the females fighting on his side, he dryly observed;

Mazamath (Flying), Attacking Acriculeth
Calanoth! Look to yourself now, I will finish him. The blue was deeply grateful for his wingleader's assistance, but with the appearance of the crimson and now the tiny green, the bronze had more pressing matters to deal with.
When his opponent flew beneath him, Mazamath dropped quickly, swiping at him.

Mercy/Aerith - Flying
Aerith
Attacking Acriculeth,bespeaking Firith
40/40 HP
Atk - 2d4+1 = 6
Accuracy - 6 = miss
Mercy and Aerith had arrived at this fight a little bit later then some of the other's and when they arrived from between and took stock of the situation they were both stunned...'Firith!' The little white cried 'What are you doing?' Aerith demanded, caught somewhere between horror and anger as she watched the green attack a fellow dragon.
It was equally disturbing for Mercy, she had become attached to her students during the time of training them and to see them fighting was bad enough, but to see them attacking their fellows was..heart wrenching to be honest. There was a bronze attacking his fellows as well. What was going on around here? Why would dragonrider turn on dragonrider? Who was going to protect Pern from thread if all the riders rent each other useless?
'What should we do mine?' Aerith asked, the white having come to term's with what was happening faster then her rider.
'We have to help those still loyal to the Wey' Mercy responded in a sad tone.
'And fight against those we know' The white stated in agreement before angling in to try and interfere on Mazamath's behalf. Spiraling down tightly towards the fight with claws ready. They weren't quite ready to attack one of their former students quite yet.

Calanoth Flying (w/ Z'fer): Defending against Firith
Two ladies? Calanoth's attention was drawn from his current target and bugled in surprise, almost knocking Z'fer loose when he reared back to avoid the sharp little claws of the green weyrling.
"What is that sharding girl doing?! We're on the same side!" Z'fer let loose a string of vehement swears, tightening his straps and once again hunkering down on his dragon's neck.
~ Firith?! I'm Calanoth! I fight for the Weyr! ~ There had to be a mistake, she must have thought him part of the Revolution! It was hard he knew to tell friend from foe when previously they were all from the same weyr. Maybe she'd meant to attack Acriculeth.
Calanoth couldn't believe a weyrling, a pretty little green like her who'd yet to fully grow, would turn on them. She must just be a little over excited. The appearance of Aerith was welcome. He worried for the small dragon but wouldn't go against his earlier words. She was another set of wings and claws and fighting spirit.

Opth: Attacking Aerith
Opth crooned to Firith as the little green chose her side and her target! She snorted at Acriculeth's comment. ~ I have fought the Blue before. Mine tried to talk them over but they are too close minded to hear reason. People like them are why this had to happen. ~
Calanoth, occupied finally by the little green, was distracted from attacking Acriculeth but he was immidiately replaced by the little white. She was in no mood to try to talk another dragon over though. Opth wheeled away from teh fight, swooping around to come down from behind Aerith. She snapped at the little white tail when she got within range. ~ Behind you... ~ She crooned coyly. Her bite just missed the little dragon, her small size proving more difficult to target at speed.

What I must, Firith replied to the white who had been their teacher, grimly resolute. For our future! She would never be just a green again, and now, presented with an alternative, she would not grow to be some menial wingrider or watchdragon. They would defy the limits once placed on them, and become everything they were meant to be!
Her answer to Calanoth was cold as she slashed at him again, encouraged by the croon from her new crimson ally. I know.

He was not enjoying this treatment, not in the least! Snarling in pain as the blue swiped him he had been about to strike back, when a mental exclamation of warning from his rider made him twist sharply aside. The white dragon was getting involved now, was it? Was there any Weyr loyalist in the sky that didn't want a slice of his hide today?
Growling deep in his chest the bronze pumped his powerful wings and surged after the blue that had been his initial target once more, but his injuries were beginning to tell on him and the blow was slower than his nitial strikes had been.

Mazamath (Flying), Attacking Acriculeth
Aerith! Mazamath called, glad to see his white clutchmate join them, although concern soon colored his voice as the crimson attacked her. Be careful! That one is vicious, and so is Hers.
The bronze was on his tail again, but for now, the blue's greater agility was serving him well. He banked hard to the left, meaning to come back around to attack from the side, but wasn't quite fast enough.

~ You must! Calanoth gave a traumatized keen, his eyes grey with the mental anguish. It was one thing fighting a fully grown dragon and rider who knew the import of their decisions. Or a Wher and their Handler who were beneath dragons to begin with. But the young Firith, daughter of Feynath? It would be harder on him than any of the battle's he'd already fought today.
The large bronze brought his claws down on the green, hesitant to avoid her rider.

Firith shrieked her indignation when the adult dragon's claws raked her hide. This had seemed like a slightly better idea when Calanoth's attention hadn't been focused on her, and the crimson had been attacking him as well. But no matter! She would defeat him, and in doing so show everyone that she was so much more than her color!
She lashed out again, noticing the color of his eyes and hoping his distress would give her an advantage.

Calanoth (w/ Z'fer): Flying, Attacking Firith
Calanoth grunted as her claws caught his nose. A little of his distress melted away. He batted at her again, still not going for the vicious strike's he'd used against others. If he could just hurt her enough to make her back off he'd be happy. He really didn't want to injure the weyrling, even if Z'fer insisted she was no longer a Malvren rider. She was still just barely out of her shell in his opinion...and he dearly loved hatchlings.

The young green avoided his half-hearted strike, her smaller size and greater agility making it easy to zip just out of range. Calanoth was clearly too sentimental for his own good, and Firith wouldn't hesitate to use it against him; while she hated to be underestimated, in this case, it was serving her well.
She dove back at him, this time aiming to slash at his wing.

At least the blue had missed him as well that time. Eyes gleaming with the red-orange of battle the beonze twisted in the air and - opening his jaws - tried to catch hold of the blue's nearest wing.
