Risath: Attack roll. Attacking Asoth Feeling his rider's growing discomfort with what they were doing Risath sent a feeling of reassurance. He didn't have to kill if he didn't want to, he could just disable him. Come to that he didn't really want to kill but he was less reviled by the idea than His. He urged as he slashed at the other brown again.

Asoth, defending M'lan.
When Asoth got slashed a second time he backed up even more, nursing a nasty gash on his shoulder. He'd backed up so far that he saw M'lan, he felt his rider's confusion from the first blow and knew that His couldn't take much more. They'd been unprepared, neither Asoth or M'lan knew why there were being attacked for simply defending their home. Asoth roared and charged towards His as the other rider swung the club again, lashing out clawed paw trying to get it between the Club and His rather than anything else. Asoth flinched when clawed by the other Brown, almost instantly the club came down on his paw and he hop-skipped backwards a little, paw raised as it felt numbed but His wasn't hit again so he was glad for that... or would be once he could think straight again, between his paw and M'lan's dizziness he wasn't thinking straight.

M'lan, attacking L'or
M'lan tried to move out of the way of the man's next blow, he didn't fancy being whacked by that club again but Asoth's paw was suddenly thrust in front of him, and just as quickly moved as the club hit it, instead of him. After a quick check to see if Asoth was alright through mental contact, M'lan tried to take advantage of the suddeness of his Dragon appearing and took a swing at the other rider.

L'or: Attacking M'lan with club The sudden appearence of a large paw was not what he had expected, and before he could recover from his surprise the enemy rider appeared from behind it and punched him squarely in the face. That was going to bruise. M'lan attacking L'or
There was no way M'lan was able to dodge the blow from the club but he moved and took the blow to his shoulder area, that was slightly padded due to him having flits, he'd had his riding jacket altered for padding in the shoulders and tops of his arms to avoid flit claws, thankfully. The blow still sent him reeling though but he wasn't dazed like the last time and swung back, still unsure as to what the shards was going on but he wasn't about to back off yet.

Asoth, No roll, Stunned.
Asoth waved his paw a little, the nerves deadened for the moment, he was glad that he had blocked the man from hitting His with it though, if it hurt Asoth so much it might have been enough to flatten M'lan. He was focused on his paw and had forgotten about the other Dragon for a moment, until fangs hit his shoulder that was. Asoth screamed in pain as the other dragon drove his teeth into the large Brown's shoulder.

L'or: Attacking M'lan
The boy's swing cracked him right on the cheekbone, and L'or staggered back a pace with a hissed oath. "Just run away," he snapped, "you can't beat me, so just run!" Gritting his teeth he swung the club again, this time at M'lan's gut.

the small brown snarled at the younger dragon, Sinking his foreclaws claws into Asoth's great bulk he tried to claw at his foe's belly with his hind.

M'lan and Asoth... running away
Asoth screeched again as the other brown released his jaws and replaced them with claws raking, M'lan was also down, the blow completly winding him, he'd already fallen to his hands and knees, trying to catch his breath.
Asoth skip-jumped over to M'lan, scooping his rider up. "We're going" he said, his 'voice' a slight whine, he still didn't understand what was going on, why him and His had been attacked for no real reason other than bad brown and His, wanting to take over the Weyr.... why? .... "Please.... let us just leave..." he sent to both Dragon and rider, doing a funny little 3 legged shuffle as he tried to protect His in case they carried on attacking.

"Go then." The brownrider lowered his club and jerked his head towards the edge of the Weyr. "Go, find a new home, or come back and join us. I know it's harsh boy, I don't want to see anyone die, but what we're doing is right. Pern has been broken since time remembers; the fixing of it wasn't going to come without a cost."
