Alakin grunted as he hit the stalls and jabbed at Gauden's side, wanting to give the younger man something to think about other than pinning Alakin to the stall door. Helpless was not something he wanted to be.

Gauden tried to dodge the blow, sliding his body away without removing the hands that pinned one arm and Alakin's shoulder to the stalls behind him. The runners neighed nervously, the nearer ones panicking.
Gauden, unused to fighting, took the second blow in full as he attempted to elbow Alakin in the face, feeling the strain of the fight. He wished Jorge actually was here; he was beginning to think this man was a trained fighter. Gauden could use a hand, but who would help? If this wasn't the only place in the weyr being attacked, he was on his own.

Ca'mil and Cheryth had been at teh feeding grounds when the revolt began, the Crimson in the middle of her meal when she was interrupted by the chaos of the Weyr. Confused the pair had started back to see what was happening when a commotion in the stables had drawn their attention.
'Mine there is a fight in the stable' Cheryth had told her rider and Ca'mil still trying to figure out what was going on had rushed inside to see what was happening.
"What is going on in here?!?" The rider yelled as she came in to find two men in hand to hand combat. One of the men she recognized..the other..only vaguely..which was about the time Cheryth learned what was going on and informed her rider with a loud bellow of rage 'They are taking over Mine, help the beastcrafter!' The crimson roared which was all the urging Ca'mil needed to dart forward and try to clock the man. OF course she slipped on some runner dung and missed. Damn the stables!
Ca'mil HP - 30/30 Attack - 1 + 2 = 3 Accuracy - 3 = 0 Miss
Alakin took the elbow to the face and was almost sure that his nose, as it gushed blood, was broken.
There was a shout as a rider stuck her nose in and Alakin sneered through the blood. He couldn't handle two opponents. He was going to have to make this quick.
"Shardit," he grunted, stomping on Gauden's foot to try to get him to let go.
Thankfully, Gauden had good, sturdy boots of the kind a Beastcrafter needed when working in all sorts of outdoors conditions and the stomp did nothing to impede his stance.
He glanced over as the rider shouted and then slipped. At least she was a rider. If she knew what was going on, he had just found an ally.
"Could use a hand!" he called, even as he shoved Alakin back into the boards again, rattling the man's head on the edge of the stall.

Recovering from her slip and trying to look past the rage Cheryth was projecting on to her from outside Ca'mil returned to trying to help the beastcrafter she knew generally took care of the runners here. Looking around she found shovel and spinning it in her hands used it to try and jab the other man as hard as she could in the ribs. Maybe she'd break a rib - that would be nice, or maybe she'd just make him loose his breath either way she was hoping for a bit of a better result this time around.
Pinned as he was, Alakin couldn't move away from the shovel jab and felt the impact keenly. His vision swam as head and torso throbbed from the beating he was taking.
If he didn't do something quickly, he was going to lose this fight.
He couldn't reach the Sharding rider, but he could reach Gauden. In a last desperate attempt, he headbutted the other man, hoping to break his nose or at least force Gauden to release him enough that he could escape.
Gauden jerked back from the headbutt, but kept one hand holding on to Alakin's shoulder, though he had to release the hand he had so recently restrained. He was feeling the hits of the fight just as strongly as Alakin, he imagined, though he wasn't as in as bad of shape as Alakin was.

While the beastcrafter still seemed to be the focus of the man's attack Ca'mil used it to her advantage and wielded the shovel to attack again, this time taking a deadly swipe at the man's head. She was done fooling around - the images Cheryth was feeding her made her certain that this was not a time for mercy or second thoughts.
Alakin had no way to block that, but he did try to move his head away. It wasn't enough. He slumped as the shovel hit him in the head and Gauden released him. He turned over with a moan and tried to get back to his feet, facing his attackers. He just... needed to make it to the door to get out of there...
Gauden didn't like hitting a man while he was down, but if they didn't knock out and/or bind the man, he might get back to his friends and bring back help. Gauden didn't like the idea of facing more people, especially since he needed a moment to lick his wounds as well. He grabbed Alakin by the tunic and punched him in the gut, hoping it would be enough to knock the man out now that the rider had helped him finish the job.

Ca'mil Attacking Alakin HP - 30/30 Attack 3 +2 = 5 Accuracy 5 - 3 =2 Hit
Typically Ca'mil might have slowed down when faced with a moaning man on the floor but even as she considered that possibility Cheryth roared in fury outside and grimly Ca'mil used the shovel's handle to hit the attacker on the head again, a sharp crack filled the stable even above the sound of the panicking runners.
