 "It makes sense, yes." Glyph responded with a nod, sitting forward as the other shifted and hooked an arm around Xun, tugging him closer, so bury his face in the fluffy hair, "Ah, that's better. I think we're all figuring ourselves out, really... there's a lot I still don't know but my path here has been different from yours too. There are times when I feel so close to answers to questions, so close I just need to close my eyes and see them but when I do it flits away back into the murk. Names, places, faces.... important pieces that have been lost."
He smiled into the azure hair as he took a moment to think before continuing, "That desert reminded me that I do have limits... that strong as we are, we're still vulnerable. Makes me want to pick up the pieces, find the little hints and ruins of our lives before... to hold in my hands the results of our arrogance or our benevolence." Glyph tilted his head to look at the other and smiled, "But I'm speaking of serious things... you brought me chocolate! That deserves a reward." Tickling one long ear, he winked, "But what should that be?"

 "I still cannot recall much of anything..." Xun Jiang admitted, expression pulled into a frown. "I get the feeling that I am missing some really obvious things... But I have no idea what they might even be. The personal memories..." He paused. "Nothing at all. I remember my brothers, but not what I have done with them. I remember Lord Harmodius, but now what I carried for him. I want to try to remember... What is there is something that I a cannot remember that would help us all if I did ?"
Artifacts, knowledge... Being a Dragon King, he might very well have known things that might not have been known by many others.
"I think, if I could find something that I made before the Fading... It might spark something ? If not rememberance... Then at least an hint as to what I need to look for."
Of course, he had no idea where to find such a thing. The Ancient Pantheon, maybe... But he had no idea how to actually get there.
"I did not remember failing once. When you first saw us, I had no idea. Neither of us had an idea." He admitted, the thought occurring to him quite suddenly. "Tian Yue had to tell me. It might be possible that Forge... might not remember, as well." He saw no need to mention how awkward that conversation had been.
The subject grew lighter, and he simply grinned. "Gee, I wonder... No idea. What did you have in store for me ?"
Xun Jiang was not exactly the best liar.

Nodding, Forest simply sighed, "I cannot help with that, sadly. I don't remember anything of the Dragon Kings, or indeed of the divine courts in that 'not there' way rather then 'obscured' way. It makes me wonder if I was not often among the other gods..." Which likely meant some things didn't change that much if his current incarnation was any indication.
He chuckled at the question and nibbled on an ear, knowing it sensitive, "A little of this, a little of that. Have you tried meditating? Or maybe perusing the library? Even going through what you know from the Night Elves? They've been alive for an age or two... some memories have to be there." Glyph continued to kiss his way to a shoulder and shifted his position to they were cuddling. The tree they were currently lounging in seemed to shift its branches to support the pair without much effort from Glyph.
"Maybe remember symbols? Places? You're Lifewater... I'm sure there's something around that can inspire you."

"Hnnn..." That ear twitched in reaction. For all that Glyph was trying to be helpful, he was also doing a fine job being utterly and completely distracting.
"An age or two will not-" There was a shiver as the kisses and nibbles started to slide down his ear. "Not be enough to remember that far... But there might be something. Old ruins. Remains."
And, well, the more Glyph reached downward, the less Xun Jiang seemed interested in the topic at hand.
