Recieving no attacks was almost as bad as being stuck in this block of ice. Kestrel continued to worm his way free while Lizzie tried to think of some way to turn this around.

Mephistopheles leapt into action as soon as the pidgeot was free. He sent a barrage of snow imbued with darkness at Kestrel.

Finally free from his icy prison, Kestrel flew into the air only to be assaulted by another Blizzard.
"Turn that against him! Mirror Move!" Lizzie shouted. Kestrel's winged glowed a bright blue as he fired an icy blast of his own. Let's see him get a taste of his own medicine!

((Mirror Move copies the roll as well. Mirror Move [Flying] - This move copies your opponent's last move (ie: If your opponent used TACKLE last, this move will also use the same dice rolls and have the same effects as a TACKLE attack). The move is not copied permanently - the next time you use this move, it will copy a different move that your opponent used the latest. So in this case, you would have used a damaging Blizzard with a roll of 4. Do you want to take it back?))

((Oh shoot I didn't know that. Strike that last post then.))
Kestrel, after being freed from his icy prison, flew in front of Mephisto and shook his tail feathers in a you-can't-touch-this sort of way. Unfortunately Lizzie knew that infuriating his opponent was his main strength, not battling.

Mephistopheles got a bit of down in his eye. Unable to see as well, he shot a blizzard at where he guessed the pidgeot was.

Lizzie was relieved that the deadly Blizzard attack didn't come to fruition but they still had a long way to go. "Kestrel, Featherdance."
The Pidgeot's feathers were already loose from repeated Blizzard attack so it was easy to shake some off to obscure Mephisto's vision even more. He still didn't like losing any of them though.

The duskull ignored the feathers, launching another blizzard. This fight was annoying.

"And now, Faint Attack." It took a little luck on their side for the confusion to work but now Kestrel could finish this. He swooped into the nearest shadow then flung himself at the Duskull.

Shadows burst from the duskull as he made his way back to Lenore, and the two left.

Kestrel would've said some final remarks but he was simply too tired. Lizzie saw how fatigued he was from the tough battle and recalled him back into the comfort of his Pokeball.
"Good match." She said before leaving herself.
