Shaheen leaned back from the swing, though dodging was hardly even necessary. The punch he directed at her was sloppy, and she eyed him critically before reaching out to try and grab a hold of his wrist in an attempt to drag him towards her. "You'll have to do a lot better then that." She frowned, clearly disappointed with how this little exercise had turned out. But had she really expected better of him? Did she expect better of any of the students?

Oddly enough, she did. Though she had to give him some credit...He was at least spunky.

"One last chance to try and escape." She sounded only slightly hopeful.

He struggled, but she could tell that the fight just wasn't in him any more. With a sigh, she tightened her grip on his arm with one hand, then opened the other, allowing the pin to jump forward and clamp itself down on the demon's shirt before she let him go. Crossing her arms over her chest, she studied him with her amber eyes, a strange look on her face as though she were analyzing him.

"You put up a...decent fight, I suppose." She finally admitted with a shrug of her shoulders and a sigh, before turning her head slightly, her eyes staring off over his shoulder as though looking at something in the distance. So she could beat a student at a silly little game, but she seemed to struggle against her fellow clansmen when it came to sparring. Perhaps she was just more focused today, for some reason? That just might be the case. Her wings began to unfold behind her, stretching out slowly as though she were preparing herself to take flight.

She suddenly inhaled sharply, muttering something unintelligible underneath her breath as she turned her gaze back to the demon in front of her and gave him a hand motion as though to wave away whatever nonsense he had to say. That had been far too easy, and she had a feeling he could have done much better. But she'd had off days as well, so she could forgive him for it. Hopefully her next opponent would be a little more challenging, though.

She didn't really know what she was supposed to do next. Was she going to get a new target brought to her later in the lost clans area again as this one had been? She had no idea she was supposed to get whatever pin this student already had and take over his target.

Well, whatever, she was sure somebody would let her know, if it was really that important, and apparently somebody would be trying to pin her eventually as well, so she had that to look forward to as well. It would be interesting to find herself on the defending end of things, at least!

But for now, it was time to fly. "I...thank you, for your time." She didn't sound all that thankful, more grudging, though she did her best to give the demon a smile before she flapped her wings and departed back up into the skies. Too bad she still hadn't gotten the knack of looking friendly rather then cocky and arrogant.
