Jericho kind of hesitated and shifted in place a bit at Danny's suggestion.
"When she's here.. yes. But that wouldn't account for most of the time. We are usually on our own in this room," he stated. He didn't expect anyone to hang around here too often anyway. There wasn't much to do in here any more.

Oh my Jack this pronoun "we" was so difficult. Did he mean "we" as in Shehk and him, or "we" as in himself. TOO MANY PEOPLE.
"Well maybe you could just ..." She bit her thumb-claw trying not to show how difficult this was to find a proper solution for. "Hmmm."
Meanwhile, the kingyogiri had hopped out of the pool and wandered into Jericho's closet. It was making itself quite at home, actually.
Danny looked back over at the pit, realizing it wasn't there. "Huh? ... Where'd it go?" Whoops lost it already.

The dragon frowned as they seemed to have lost the cat. Moving over to what was left of his treasure, he sifted some of it away but there was no sign of the mini there.
"Maybe it wasn't as fireproof as you thought," he said, implying that it might have died.
Jericho didn't know what else it could be.

Danny pursed her lips for a moment, actually feeling kind of bad for the minipet, but said, "Ehh, I know it's not the lava. Mine swims around in it all the time!"
She threw her arms out beside her and said, "Buuut if it did die, oh well. I'm sure it's around here somewhere though. Probably just likes your room. It's neat!" She was a little confused why a dragon didn't have stuff, but maybe Jericho just liked his space?
"Anyways, that's all I had to ask." She put her hands together in front of her, squeezing them nervously. "And uhm. I don't really know how to say this, but sorry ... about Riley. I know she was your best friend and all." Danny couldn't even imagine losing Roch. She didn't want to imagine losing Roch. "But I'm sure they'll find a way to uhhh ... cure her? If that's how you'd say it ..."

Jericho's mood dipped down further at the mention of Riley. Danny had well intentions of it, but it still brought him down some.
"A cure... You can't cure what's dead and gone," he uttered quietly. Sure, he had heard that scream awhile back but... Well, he didn't want to get his hopes up. The dragon didn't know what could have caused it and Malodore was going to investigate, but he still did not want to get his hopes up at this point. The last thing he needed right now was to have something like that crushed to dust.

"Hm? Riley's not dead. Did no one tell you? She got turned to stone and-" The look on his face read enough that even Danny stopped.
She kicked at the ground, and said, "Uhh ... I think I'll go. Tell me if you crush the fishcat- I'll bring you another one! ... Or something!" Speaking of said fishcat, it poked its head out from the closet, not that Danny noticed.
"... You'll be okay yeah?"

"We used to bear her mark! It's gone now. What do you think that means?" Jericho snapped. There was also the bond bit but he doubted she'd be able to get that right now if he brought it up. Letting out a sigh, the anger faded as the topic changed once more.
"Sure. Whatever," he murmured. His back was to the closet, so he didn't notice the fishcat peeking its head out right now.
"About as alright as we've ever been lately."

Danny jumped a little when Jericho snapped, but didn't say anything to his question. It was just asking for more yelling. Last time she'd seen Jericho like this, she'd broken a gun and he'd breathed fire into the sky. Honestly? She'd kind of like to see that again, but Riley seemed to be a sore subject.
Yeah it was time to leave.
"Hey feel better okay? And cool wing dye!" she said, as the moved towards the door. "See you later... We'll roast ghost marshmallows or something!" Mmmm. Marshmallows.
With that, Danny was out the door and on to bothering someone else.

Jericho might have flinched a bit at the wing dye comment. It was one moment that.. it was a good thing Danny was kind of dense. He just let out a small huff while the fire demon retreated, then flopped down onto his small treasure pile, unknowing that he wasn't quite alone in his room any more.
