While Marcus had never been on a mission with Allan, as he was shoved through the portal, he knew he never wanted to be. The scent made him gag, and the touch of people he didn't know made him want to reflexively shove them away. "This is ******** rancid." Grumbling, he followed the line, keeping his eyes on the other trainees. Him and Wilson were the only two intermediates, and from the description Allan gave them, this was more Wilson's field. Marcus was just there to be a body.
Still it was nice to be at a showing and briefly, he wished Cass was with him. She'd love to see a movie. Maybe on some off day they could- Light dimmed, the film started, and Marcus tensed up as he realized what he was seeing. A movie. A movie about hunters.
"Son of a b***h." While the crowd was cheering, Marcus was ready to face palm. The text said it all. As Ami seemed to take charge he resigned himself to it. But- "The trailer is what has the footage. The projector only shows whatever film is in the reel, so if we cant get the whole thing, the film itself is what we'll need. Not to mention the backup copy they will probably have. The second we go in to take it we'll probably be facing security. While yes, I can carry probably the whole projector, that leaves you as the only one on defense, Kat on offense, and Wilson to deal with the trailer. The guy said to be ninjas."
He sighed. "So rushing in is a bad idea in my opinion. Mark our exits. See who they have running the stuff, who we might have to by pass. Making a plan before we know anything is..." A shrug. "A little on the wild side you know?"

"Okay, okay.." She mumbled as Ami spoke. Her gaze landed on Wilson when he made the comment of her matching her name tag. Wasn't that..what they were supposed to do? Her expression, more perplexed than before, eased when she listened to Allan's debriefing. Though..she would have much preferred it if he didn't treat them like little kids while doing so.
With the debriefing said and done, they were each shoved into the portal. On the other side, they were welcomed by a smell so awful, Kat almost lost the coffee she had previously downed before coming. "Oh my gawd!" Holding her nose, she edged away from the worst of the crowd, hanging close to her own little group she arrived with.
And then..it happened. A movie..about, hunters?
"Oh come one! the effects are so cheesy!" She protested, folding her arms as she sneered up at the movie. Of course, she said this about practically every movie she had ever seen.
Receiving a text shortly after, Kat had to think on what the 'item of power' was, until she finally clued in that he was talking about the the film projector, thanks to the picture sent after.
Well..now she knew why they were here, and why they were in disguise. Showing up in their hunter uniforms would have been..bad. Though, why they had to dress in cosplays, was beyond her! They could have at least showed up in casual wear, and no one would be the wiser. Whatever, they had best deal with this, and fast.
The plan sounded like a good idea to her. Do-able, if they didn't screw it up. "Heh, better than my idea of torching the whole place." She joked. "Alright, I'll look to taking out the guard then." Though..she wasn't sure how stealthy she could be. If they had to be, uh..ninjas, then using her guns was out of the question. They were too bloody loud--not to mention, she might kill them. No, she would have to stick with melee attacks for this. She only hoped that her opponent wasn't huge.
Now they just needed to wait for their chance to strike.

Act like a ninja? Wilson could act like a ninja (hopefully). Act like a ninja in a butler suit? Hopefully. When they entered the other side of the portal, he gagged. A gloved hand reached up to wave any smells away from his nose, but it was everywhere. He took a look around the area. Furry tails and bright fabric, sure, but it appeared they were going to a movie showing. What was the cosplaying for? A lot of people didn’t cosplay at these conventions or whatever, anyways. Sigh. Allan.
The beginning of the trailer didn’t catch his eye, though he continued to patiently watch the monuments and historical sites flash by. It was the familiar splashes of white and gold that caught his attention. Wilson sat up straighter while cracking an amused smile. Pffffft. Why was it so funny to watch this trailer? They had to get rid of the trailer somehow. Hunters were supposed to be hush hush and all that, right? He raised an eyebrow at Allan’s text. “A picture would be helpful,” he murmured just as a second message arrived. There we go.
He shifted in his seat as he looked to the rest of the group. Wilson listened to Ami’s plan and then switched over to listen to Marcus’ two cents. While he had his own thoughts on what they should do, he also wanted to get out of this suit quickly. He pulled at the collar of his costume. “You guys can finalize the plan while I go scout, alright?” He briefly waved at the others before he slipped out of his seat and weaved through the sea of bodies and toward the projector room.

"That's why Wilson should-" He was already gone and off to scout. Well that was what you got with a Death hunter. It made sense.
Ami shrugged and said, "I'm fine with whatever plan. I just want to get out of this disgusting theater, yeah?" A thought dawned on her. If they took the projector, the people in the theater would freak out. Opposition.
"No, wait. Let's take the trailer first, like you said. If we take the projector, the disgusting theater-goers will freak out..." She was more saying this for herself to puzzle through it than anything else. "The trailer piece shouldn't be that big... I guess we'll just have to wait 'til Wilson is back."
Maybe if they were luck, Wilson would report that there was nobody in the booth and there was free popcorn for everyone. One could hope, okay?

"Alright guys, clear out, clear out, we gotta set up for the next showing in fifteen minutes."
Between the ending of the trailer and the speculation of the trainees, thankfully most of the oddly costumes civilians had left. A scruffy man with "STAFF" written on his badge was staring at the trainees with a cross expression, just as, from behind him, a small team of five was wheeling the whole projector out. Into the open doors to the left, the empty parking lot.

Ami watched the projector slowly move towards the parking lot, the gears in her mind clicking. "Well we have to follow it ... we can't risk them getting away from it. I think th e projector will have to come first."
"We need a way to distract the big one," she said, pointing to the man with "STAFF" on his badge. "Or at least get past him without being noticed. Ideas?"
Were they walking faster with that projector? "And let's be quick!"

I don't care how big a ... fan you are, this is not open for negotiation." A well-dressed man surrounded by two bodyguards was currently disputing with a very familiar Sun division leader. "My boss doen't just talk to anyone either and..."
The two conversation trailed away down the hall, as the STAFF member ushering the trainees out rolled their eyes. "******** fans man, every year." He looked extremely annoyed as he brandished a half-folded chair. "Look are you kids going to leave or not? The exit is that way." He pointed the other direction back into the main convention hall and away from the parking lot.

Wilson had made his way toward the projector room, but stopped when he found a group of five wheeling out the projector. He turned toward the others to call out to them, but zipped his lips when he noticed a tall security person between him and the rest of the group. Tugging at the sleeves of his suit, he switched between looking at the staff person and the group of five. Wilson rapidly stared between the two before he decided to go after the team wheeling the projector out. He rushed forward and placed himself in front of the projector to get the group to stop. “Hey! Uh. Do you happen to know any more information on this trailer? I’d like to know more about the movie. It seems really interesting!” Not really. .__.

Oh! Wilson you dumbass! Ami sighed as Wilson went for the group of five and the projector, since he was behind the man with the staff shirt ...
Wait ... that meant-
Ami stepped in front of the man with the staff shirt, not necessarily blocking his view of Wilson, but at least distracting him the best she could. She would've preferred something more tactful, but with Wilson already on the move there was nothing she could do except think on her feet. "Sorry, sorry, I was just wondering when that ah ... where can I find the nearest bathroom?"
Hopefully Marcus and Kat weren't as bad of ab-libbers as she was ...

The clean-cut man waved Wilson off rather dismissively as he continued to wheel the projector, obviously heading to their target destination: a truck that very clearly painted the Universal Studios logo on its side. "Dude, buzz of kid, and get your weird fanboy juices away from this sensitive equipment. You can watch the movie when it comes out properly next month." He turned around, rolling his eyes. "Freak."
Meanwhile, the STAFF t-shirt member was staring at Ami incredulously. He slowly, very surely, pointed the same direction he had been pointing this entire time at her question.
In the distance their goal was getting further and further away. They could always knock the man out but, then what? Maybe knock out all the other projector staff as well? The worst thing that could happen really, was jail and...

"AH, I see thanks ..." Ami looked around, and decided to just talk at the guy. Might as well since she had to keep him distracted long enough. "Listen, I'm new in town and looking for a job? I was wondering how you got hired here? I know economic times are tough, but working at a movie theater just sounds great! I mean you probably have tons of fun getting to watch movie trailers, and taking tickets and what not."
The last time Ami had a job was as a barista for a tiny coffee shop in New York. She had no idea what the ******** someone in the movie theaters did.
Whatever, that wasn't the point. She was just blabbing at the guy now.

While Ami was busy talking to the dude, Marcus had basically figured that they were going to get no where. A quick text sent to Kat and Wilson. Quote: Keep an eye on the wheels, I'm going to try something. The dude still busy with Ami, the moon trainee looked for the familiar red and white levers. It wasn't hard to find, a small group busy talking by one. He even had gloves to prevent prints. Walking by like he wasn't doing anything at all, Marcus pulled the fire alarm. Not the most subtle, but, hey might clear it out.

When the man looked away, Wilson shot the worker a glare. Fanboy? This costume was entirely Allan’s fault. His phone rang and he pulled it out. He shot Marcus a curious look just as the other hunter disappeared, but okay then. Wilson turned toward Kat and nodded his head toward the truck. There was no way he was going to let them get into that truck and leave. Now, how could he prevent that from happening?
There was a placid smile on his face when he pulled out a basic trapping gun out of nowhere just like Sebastian would. He aimed at the clean-cut man and fired. The net met its target. Man down! Wilson would have made a quip about the inaccuracies of the trailer, but that would imply hunters were real. Hahahahanolet’snotdothat.

Thanks to Marcus, there were shouts of panic as people went running all directions, including back into the auditorium, the parking lot slowly trickled with colourful costumes -
- And eventually became flooded. By sweaty, smelly civilians in costumes all gibbering around in panic. The good news was that thanks to both Marcus and Wilson, they had delayed the cart, which, while the net had missed, had still managed to distract the attendants around it, already overwhelmed by a massive crowd of costumed people.
Now was their chance!OOC - The parking lot is now very crowded thank to the pulled fire alarm, a great way to go for the projector and film set! - The projector is a little heavy and needs to be procured - which is great, but where are they going to take it afterwards? Hopefully Allan will tell them what to do after they've gotten it. - First, the trainees need to swim through the sea of people. Roll a 100-sided dice and match your dice roll to the results below. If you roll more than 3 times you auto find the projector. 1- 20: You try to make a grab for the stalled projector, but a giant plush wing smacks you right in the face, followed by a series of cardboard box wing extensions- all you can see is colour 21- 40: A whiff of something not so savory overwhelms your senses for a second as all you can think of is how people should really really shower more than once a month41 - 60: Someone pulls you aside, demanding that you take a photo for them. As you impatiently pose and smile, you feel a hand grabbing your butt... 61 - 80: Someone runs at you full force yelling the words "GLOMP". You never know what hit you. 81 - 100: Finally, FINALLY you manage you swim through the sea of bodies to the goal. Now you just need to push it away... maybe to the left a little. God this was gonna be hard.

It almost felt like the ground rumbled as soon as Marcus pulled the alarm. Bodies swarmed seemingly out of nowhere. She could SEE them running towards her. Sweaty, smelly.
Oh hell to the naw.
She wasn't touching that with a fifty foot pole. By some act of God, she pushed past the big staff member, and made a wild dash for the projector. There was no way she was getting stuck in that crowd. You just couldn't make her. Nope nope nope.
Surprisingly? She beat the crowd. Ami found herself standing next to the projector, smiling triumphantly. Yeah ******** you smelly unhygienic people!
Reality came back and she remembered she actually had something to do. Ami put one hand on the cart and started trying to push it, but it was heavy. She'd need help. "Wilson? Marcus? Kat!!" she shouted like a lost child into the mass of people, while still trying to keep an air of discreteness. Oh no. Had they gotten lost in the crowd?
