Julie just didn't generally know the distinction between creatures that were and weren't creepy crawlies other than they seemed to creep her out and were 'crawling' around be it on land or water. She nodded to his question about jellyfish. "They're like squishy bubbles with long strings on them that hurt if you touch them."
Fluff cocked his head to the side and blinked. "DO? What do sentrets do? Um...they eat smaller things! Big sentrets are called furrets - they eat little rodents and chase ratatas. We spend time wherever and we do stuff!" he seemed a bit confused by this question and prattled on anyway.
"He's a normal type, they are in most mild habitats." Julie added cheerily.

Endymion thought of the description of jellyfish momentarily, finding the images he was getting in his head to be exceptionally bizarre. While by itself, the visualizations of 'bubbles with strings' wasn't all that strange, to think of something like that as being alive and capable of thought struck him as rather odd. Traveling underwater must be like traveling to some alien planet! "I hope you didn't touch any, then!" he prodded.
Yes, Endy realized his posed question was a bit of an odd one, but he had no idea how to phrase it any better. It seemed that Fluff was able to grab the basic concept of what he was trying to ask, at least, and that allowed him to forgo being self-conscious about his speech capabilities. He grinned, "So you like to eat and play, basically? Not a bad way to live, if I do say so myself." He couldn't help but feel a tad envious of the two's ability to act so carefree.
Ahh, normal type, that made some sense. That would be why he couldn't really tell what exactly Fluffernutter was. Diverse pokémon, that was for sure! "You catch him yourself?" he asked Julie. He was half-expecting the answer to be along the lines of 'no, he followed me home,' with how well the two got along. It had been the same for Endy, though his attachment hadn't been as great a one.

"Of course not silly! We'd be running to a hospital if we did!" she giggled a bit at that.
Fluff flicked his tail and nodded. "We can bounce around on our tails and look for danger too if we have to. We don't get along with snake pokemon." He explained and attempted to bounce some on his tail but mostly moved up and down on his feet.
Julie looked at Fluff for a moment before snickering. "No he showed up while I was on a picnic looking for food and I fed him and we decided we liked each other so I carried him home with me."

The scyther-boy was just slightly alarmed at that statement. He hesitated a moment, "They're... really that bad?" He took a quick glance around, making sure none of them had randomly appeared since the last time he looked... all of about five minutes ago.
When it was apparent that there still weren't any around (of course, they had been inside the cave), Endymion focused on trying to be less uptight. Tension always seemed to be the enemy. He hadn't really considered what it would be like to have a tail, though, and his demeanor turned more toward amused as he watched the sentret-boy attempt a demonstration, "Can you bounce on the tail just as easily as you could as a full pokémon?" While it wasn't inconceivable, the larger size of the poké-child could make it harder to. As it was, Endymion still hadn't really thought to test out how capable he still was at hovering with his wings, as it never came up.
Endymion could say that he was surprised, but... really, he wasn't surprised. They both seemed to act much like a pair of childhood friends, so the puzzle pieces fit quite well. "Much better way than beating the snot out of him before capturing, I think," he pointed out. 'The way to a pokémon's heart,' he mused.
