Coa looked at him and then at Percy and blushed. "who would want to go someplace with us? and i...didn't think it was a date really i mean..." she didn't know how to finish that cause she knew Hess wouldn't get nor understand it and then she didn't know who would be dating right now that would want to spend time with her. She knew she was taking Fang with either way cause he needed experience outside. She hadn't been sure what Hess's look had been about when talking about Viral. She was not sure she liked the idea of him talking with her. She was ruthless and she was sure that Viral would kill Hess just as soon as she would blink. "Where did you want to go Hess?" she asked softly.

"Anyplace is fine." He knew he needed to keep his mind off his projects for once specially since his mom insisted, but it was hard for him. He debated bringing his phone with him since this was going to be an outing where he's suppose to be away from his work. Shaking his head he offered her his hand to help her up. "You said you were hungry for hamburgers, so why not get some. I'll drive."

Coa looked at him and then his hand and then took it and stood up and smiled a little. "Yeah that sounds great. And ok." she said softly as she called Fang along. "We have to stop by my lap so i can get my money and Fangs leash first though. Hes good at coming when i call him but im worried that he will be like any dog and get too interested in other things out there to listen." she said. she hadn't let go of his hand yet and she blushed and took it back before he got weirded out that she was still holding it or something.

"You don't need to bring any money, It will be my treat." He offered. "I'll meet you at my car though." He moved away once she released his hand. He wasn't to keen on the dog still, for some reason he felt odd having it around, but if it was her project he would understand. In the garage he took the cover off his car and placed it in the trunk. Quietly waiting for her he looked down at his hand. He held her hand before so why did this time seem any different. Pushing it a side he opened the passengers side allowing her to get in first before making his way around and getting in himself. "Any specific place you'd like?"

Coa walked to her office and took a deep breath. She didn't know what to do now that she was actually going out someplace with just her and Hess. Curse Percy. She didn't know what to do now that he wanted to be out some place with her. She bit her lip softly and put on Fangs leash and collar and walked out to the garage to Hess's car. Getting in after putting Fang in the back seat and rolling the window a bit she sat and put on her seat belt. "Um theres this real good place in town thats near a nice park and it has out door seating so I'll be able to bring Fang with me." she looked at him in the back and smiled when he put his head out the window. "At least he wont shed all over the back."

Hess was sure to keep his eyes on the road like any good driver would when he answered her. He was sure to take here where she asked, opening the door for her as he offered his hand to help her get out once they were there. "So what are you planning to do after the competition?" He was a tad curious about it. wondering if she'd sell or manufacture the dog for the good of others.

Coa watched things go by as they drove and took his hand and got out as she took Fangs leash and he went with them. There was a window outside for orders so you didn't have to go in. "Oh well i want to patent his blueprints and sell them to a good company so that more can be made like him for people with allergies or as guard dogs or police dogs. Their more sturdy and wont die when shot, they can be fixed and repaired better and every night their personalities would be backed up on a computer so if something happened to the brain and chip it could be down loaded onto a new chip and dog and you would have the same one just with a different body. It could be made into different sizes, small and larger and middle sizes." she said as she looked at him sniffing everything.

"Sounds like a good idea, but you have a flaw in your plan. A.I. chips are not easy to produce and can be quite dangerous if in the wrong hands." He didn't want to upset her but it was best for her to know now than later. He waited for her to take her order before taking his and paying. "I've had offers on it myself but I refuse to leak any information about it. I don't want to see it in the wrong hands and I've heard from my Mother how things have gone terribly wrong after the Cons got a hold of a number of his creations."

She frowned and thought about it. "What if i made a like...uplink where you have to log in and upload your dogs personality to the robot. With updates and then not every dog would have a chip. But it would all still be saved on the computer incase something happens to the robot?" she asked as she chose a table with an umbrella so they were out of the direct sun. Others stopped and looked at Fang and kids laughed and pointed and he tried to say hi to everyone. She smiled and let him wander a bit as she held his leash. "I'll set up a whole site and every person who buys a dog has to make a log in and pay a onetime fee for their dogs personality. Does that sound reasonable and like a good way to keep it out of bad hands?"

"Then have you found an idea on how you'd get the dogs to learn. I doubt it'll be able to pull off a personality correctly without the chip. It would be considered another mindless machine then." He turned only to thank the person who brought them their food. "I'm probably making things more complicated for you."

She took a fry and put it in her mouth as she thought about his words and tried to think of something. he was right and she hated that she hadn't thought of this her self. She frowned and her ears lowered as she thought it over. "I suppose..." she said softly as she ate another fry. "What about stages of down load...like there would be a learning stage to down load where it would have the programming to know about learning how to sit, or come or down and you can work on it till your happy with teaching it and then you down load the full knowledge for it. Special police dogs would come fully down loaded and ready for work. Just would have to get used to their team and partners. is it possible to have just a learning chip in so he can learn feelings with out it being a real AI chip? Something...less advanced so it wont be mindless?"

"Mindless would still be mindless. It's just programs placed into a machine. It won't get it's own personality it will be as if they're all the same. Like drones." Hess sighed as he drank some of his tea. "Seems like you have a lot more bugs to work out. I know all to well on that prospect."

She frowned and ate as she thought about it. She lowered her ears as she watched him lay down and pant and look around. She knew it would be hard but she wanted to find a way to make it work...she wanted to share this with others. But it seemed useless now. "Maybe i shouldn't even try to enter. Others will just want to steal him if i don't make more or sell him or his prints....I shouldn't bother showing him off..." she said softly as she sighed. She had done something good, too good, and who knew who would come after her to get him and his chip just to take him apart and make something evil or bad.

"It's a shame there's so much evil out in the universe." He watched Coa as he took a bite of his salad."here I have most likely ruined you project to. I'm sorry." He gave a small frown. He really didn't mean to upset her, he just had the bad habit of finding the facts and problems in things. He figured he'd try to change the subject at least. "Coa, I'm sure your parents have been teaching other things besides working in a lab. What about fighting. Have they taught you to defend yourself?"

She looked over at him and nodded as she ate. "Yeah all the time. Mom likes us to know what to do, so that we would be able to fend off Megatron if he came for us, or anyone else, and dad likes to keep us well educated. After the long story on the fight that happened the day we were born i know he wants us as safe as possible and us knowing how to defend our selves is one way for that." she said ignoring that he had found a giant flaw in her making the dog. She sighed and figured she would turn him off at home and not worry about him anymore. She didn't want people coming after him or her.
