Rain
She sighed inwardly, and prepared herself for another hellish period of Calculus. She Gritted her teeth and forced herself to do the imposable problems that she was faced with. She glanced at Vail, and sighed when she saw her sleeping. Consider yourself lucky that you can sleep through this.

~Vail~ The shrill shound of the bell woke her from the same nightmare she always had. Gathering her books she looked at Rain and waved, then turned away from her. ' Thank God for free period.. Vail walked to her favorite place right under the willow tree and began to talk to the spirits again, one of the only times she was truly ever happy.

heart Enelya heart
Enelya still laid there near the school. Blood running down her brow. She only wished that she could grow the healing herbs that would help her but she was too weak and had almost no energy left.

Rain
She was wandering around the school grounds, enjoying her free period outside, the only place she felt comfortable. She reached the gate, and turned to circle back around the lake when something caught her eye. It was a girl around her age, laying in the grass. She stepped forward, "Are you ok?" It took her a second for her to see the blood. She knelt by he side and, checking that no one was around to see, she pulled a few small seeds from her bag. She gently placed them in the ground, she hovered her hand over them and pushed with her power, felling them grow. She plucked the herbs, her own special hybrid, and popped them in her mouth, chewing them until they were mush. She then carefully spread them over the girl's wounds, watching as they healed. The girl stirred, and slowly sat up.

Enelya looked around and saw someone next to her. "W....W....Where am I....." She had a scared look on her face. She wanted to go home but did not know how to get back.

"It's ok, your as safe, as you're going to get." She lightly touched her shoulder, "You're at the School. I understand what you must be thinking, but there's no way out of here. What's your name?" she asked softly.

"...E....En.....Enelya." Enelya looked down. She could not go home this really upset her. She pulled her knees into her chest. "Why did those people come to my house? I did nothing wrong. They came and beat me and that was all I can really remember."

~Vail~ Vail walked towards Rain, "That's Enelya. As soon as a spirit told me they saw her I came. How is she?" Vail wondered over to where Enelya was sitting.

"Enelya," she said softly, "You did nothing wrong, we all end up here eventually. My name is Rain, and this is my friend Vail, she new like you are." she motioned for Vail to kneel down. "Can you tell me what you can do Enelya?"

"I....I can control light and...and.....and nature....." Enelya pushed some hair behind her pointed ear. She continued to hug her knees and look down. She was not use to all this attention. She lived alone in her house and rarely had left her house.

"Nature," she smiled, "me too." She motioned to the herbs she had grow. "If you'd like i could teach you some, I've been here," she paused, as a sadness welled up inside her, "A long time."

~Vail~ Vail looked at both of them and nodded and began to turn away and leave. She's never really understood living people, only the dead. ' I just hope Enelya likes this place better than I do... I hope she's happy here.

"Can.....Can....Can you communicate....with.....with animals...to.....too?" Enelya looked up hearing that the other girl could grow plants like her.

She watched her friend go, "Don't mind her, she's better with the dead than the living." She smiled, "Yes i can. Do you always feel more comfortable outside, and feel trapped inside?"

"I don't mind either...so....so....so long as there is light......." Enelya hated the dark and never wanted to be in a place where their was no light. Darkness was her weakness. She was what one would call a light elf she could die if encased in darkness and kept there for a long time.
