Sky rolled her eyes. She didn't like expensive items. "He's probably better off buying me a soccer ball.... that I wont be able to use." Sky was an active person and she hated the idea that she would have to stop running around for miles and miles like she used to do every single morning. She couldn't play softball or soccer. "Oh well." The woman commented be snuggling closer. "So what is it? A boy or a girl?" She was curious.

Show Me How To Lie....
Flashing a grin, he looked very amused for a moment. "Diamond encrusted soccer ball it is. I'll be sure to tell him." he wondered that, even if he made the suggestion, his brother would do it. He knew the bassist could afford it, especially considering he knew he'd hardly spent any of the money he had made. Most of what he'd spent had been on gifts for Ephraim, and expensive things for birthdays and Christmas for his brothers and Mizuki. For food, he mooched off of his older brother while home and probably relied on his bandmates to make sure he actually ate. Feeling her snuggled closer, he made an executive decision to lay back on the bed and drag her with him. It would be more comfortable and he was still rather weary. At her question, he chuckled. "Now where would the fun be in giving away the surprise?" he questioned, teasing her. "It's definitely my kid, though. A true Sol." he hinted, not wanting to just give everything away. She would probably push, though, and he wouldn't mind telling her. At least then they could spend the next months arguing over a name.

Sky really hoped that Cam would get her something that wasn't covered in diamonds. It wasn't practical. Maybe he would get smart and use the money go get something like clothes and things for the baby. She gave Adney a playful glare to her boyfriend as they laid down. "So it'll have the same hair color as you." Really all that said was that green was something they could slip on when it came to clothing. "Well it doesn't matter I already thought of a name that would work for the baby anyways. Storm." The name was a unisex name just like her name was and so was the name of her brother and sister. There of course was one way to get her to change her mind. Sky was just that stubborn.

Show Me How To Lie....
Still very amused at the thought of Sky receiving something ridiculously expensive, they could always just sell it anyway, he broke from his thoughts as she spoke again. "Indeed they will." he answered smoothly, still not giving away the gender. In all seriousness, the gender wasn't quite absolute just yet; things like diet could still make a difference, and he didn't want to give a definite answer when he wasn't positive. As she spoke of a name, he was a bit surprised at the one she chose. "You want to name our kid after an X-Man?" he questioned, sounding very sceptical. "Why not something less affiliated with a pop culture figure?" especially when the child would be absolutely nothing like said figure. "Why not something like... Parker?" he liked that name, and it was definitely suitable for either a boy or girl.

Sky looked at him like he was crazy. Yes strong was an X-men, but that was not the reason she thought up that name. "Peter Parker is Spiderman." She answered him why she didn't like the idea of Parker as a name. "What about Alexis. That's a good gender neutral name? It's even cute." She suggested a slightly girly name. Then again her brother was named Ashley. The woman stopped. "Well traditionally the first son is named after his paternal grandfather." She commented looking at Adney if he liked that idea.

Conceding that point, he hadn't thought of Spiderman, he shrugged. "You're right. Logan, then. Wolverine is way better than Spiderman." he was joking again, though he did like the name Logan. It was a slightly more masculine name, but it would still work well for a girl. Alexis, however, he wasn't quite sure that he liked, especially considering it was a son they were currently looking at. Unfortunately, he couldn't think of an Alexis in comic books; the only Alexis that came to mind was the Ancient Greek comedy writer, but he didn't think that would work well enough. This train of thought was stopped, however, at the mention of the paternal grandfather. His jaw clenched, and he glared at the ceiling. "That... man is the last person anyone should be named after." his voice was tight, and it was obvious he was very much opposed to the idea. He took a shaky breath, attempting to calm himself. "There are some things I have not told you. Things that I probably should tell you... But they are far from pleasant, and are not the sort of things most people want to know."

Sky wrinkled her nose at the same. It was too masculine for a girl. Not that she didn't want her daughter to like playing softball. what if she was a girly girl. "Charlie." She commented trying to see what Adney thought of that name. He then changed the subject about needing to talk about things. "Yeah. I guess we do need to talk a bit." The woman agreed.

Ignoring the name Charlie, there were more pressing matters at hand, he continued to stare at the ceiling. 'Charlie' made him think of Charlie Chaplin, so that was a no-go. His mind wandered back fifteen years, images coming back that he had been avoiding all those years. "I think, that if we are to be married, then you should know what happened." he closed his eyes, letting out a small sigh. "I think I mentioned that my father was aware of the Veil. The company he worked for was highly secret, and only people on the inside know of it. There are rumors, of course, but none that anyone actually believes. In the facility he was involved with, they worked to discover what made witches and wizards different from normal humans, among other things. They were experimenting with magic and trying to find the raw element of it." he didn't know how terrible it was, he didn't even know if the test subjects were volunteers or not. It had been extremely difficult to gather that much information alone. "Something... happened at work one day. I have no idea what, but he came home acting almost like he was drunk." he stopped, not sure how to continue. Not sure if he should continue. "I think... I think he was trying to do to my sister what he did to us, but my mother wouldn't let him near her. He..." he stopped again, choking on the words. "He killed them. I was sleeping, but all the screaming woke me up. I heard Cam screaming like a banshee, and I ran to his room. My dad threw some.. liquid at me. Whatever it was, it's what caused the visions. I didn't know what happened, but suddenly all I could see was fire and my family dead." his voice was quiet now, but he spoke faster as if he wanted to get it over with. "He must have injected Cam with something while I was busy with a vision, but he couldn't handle it, and set the house on fire. By the time I was awake, my dad was looming over my brother laughing and yelling about how he'd done it. So I attacked him and he stabbed me with a needle. When he stopped moving, I grabbed Cam and got out of there." the account became less and less detailed, as if he just wanted to be done. He lay quietly then, eyes still closed, waiting for how his future wife would take it.

Sky cuddled and hugged Cam. She didn't want him to think that he didn't have a family. He still had her, Cam, and the baby along with Mizuki, Ephraim, and Pyry. "I don't know what it would be like to lose everything you know." She commented. She thought about something. "I wonder if that makes you a wizard too at the same time." she added in a calm voice. She smile gently and looked into his eyes. "Even with all the bad stuff there is always light some where. It didn't kill you, it made you stronger, and if it did happen I wouldn't have you, nor would my first child have a strong father. My father once told me that with the bad comes the good and blessings in hiding." Sky told him. She placed her hands on both sides of his checks and kissed him on the lips. "If it's a girl would you rather we named it after your mother?" She asked him. It was a bad idea to do his father's name, but they still call her by his mother's name.

Listening carefully as Sky spoke, an attempt at a smile appearing one his face. "I didn't lose everything. I still had Cam." he pointed out, though it was a halfhearted statement. He loved his brother, more than anything, but he had still lost a lot that day. He didn't know about being a wizard, he had never really tried, but he supposed it was a possibility. He had no idea how the lose of most of his family, which had led to being cold and starving for years, was a blessing. But, he supposed, it had led him to Pyry and, eventually, Reed's and Sky. He opened his eyes as he felt her hands on his cheeks, feeling the kiss. He raised his bad hand very gently, his other arm had been under Sky cradling her, and he touched her cheek gently. "It's a nice gesture, love, but it's not a daughter." he answered, a smile of amusement appearing at his lips. "And no son of mine will be named Kathleen."

Sky smiled as he had finally got Cam to tell her what the baby was. She was going to have to ask for a lot of blue things. Sky was kind of excited because she escaped shopping for pink this time. "I guess Parker is a nice name." The woman commented with a blush on her cheeks. "Parker something Sol." She said everything, but the middle name they didn't agree on. The woman like the idea of Parker Justin Sol, but she was going to have Adney help in the process.

The teacher could tell that Sky was pleased to finally be in on the secret of the the baby's gender. "Oh, so now you agree to it? I thought you didn't want a baby named after Spiderman." he teased, laying his bad hand to the side and out of he way. "Something? That's an odd middle name." he commented, doing his best to try and lighten the mood. There was no need to keep the depressing air he had caused with his story. He didn't have any good ideas left, and since he had gotten his way with the first name, he wanted Sky to have more input on the middle name. "Any other ideas?"

Sky guessed she was an odd ball when it came to names. She looked Adney up and down while she was trying to think of a name. "Well we could pay homage to a name that can be related to our heritage." Sky herself was Japanese and French mix. She spoke much better in French though. "We also can make his name into a bit of a fun joke, like calling him Red for a middle name or something." She added thinking of something else that she could give as a middle name.

Heritage? He supposed that had some merit, though he didn't know how easy that would be considering the mix they had. "So... Japanese, French, Irish, and Scottish?" he questioned, though it was rhetoric. His own heritage wasn't hard to mix, and even the French might be possible, but the Japanese just came out of nowhere and didn't seem to fit with the other three. A joke seemed sort of fun, and he chuckled at the suggestion of 'Red'. "Makes me think of Pokemon." the original protagonist of the Pokemon games was named Red, this he remembered from his childhood. "I used to love Pokemon." he added, to assure her that he wasn't criticizing the name."We could also make a play on my last name. It's Spanish for sun." he pointed out, though he wasn't sure how he ended up with a Spanish last name.

Sky was about to yell out that Adney was a nerd, but she stopped herself. She had no right to say anything when she enjoyed X-men comics and a good round of Halo. She then rolled her eyes at the sun comment. "A son with a name like Sun Sun. Sounds Chinese." She joked. "Well if that's the case we may as well give him the middle name of Apollo or Helios or Ra." She said starting to list off a few gods of the sun. A giggle came out of her mouth before she stopped. "Or we could give him Camrion as a middle name." She half joked. "Parker Camrion Sol..." Her face twisted a bit. "Park your soul." Yup their kid would be made fun of.
