He nodded " im sure i can fix it, and if for some reason I can't then i know my father can, hes been working with clocks all his life." he said trying to reassure him " it's pretty far away so it'll be faster to use this" he said pulling out his zune. He fiddled with it a moment, trying to find the correct location, then pressed a button and everything went black, next thing they knew they were standing outside a huge clock-tower that stood in the middle of a vast forest. " here we are. This is my home and my Workshop"

Clockwork froze stiff as they were transported to the clock-tower, he never expected it but he was amazed afterwords. 'It's bigger than my house." He closed his mouth after it was open in awe for awhile and smiled. "Ah! I never got your name. I'm Clockwork, pleasure to meet you. I'd shake your paw but yeah, I rather not drop the pieces to my clock."

Tristan blinked " oh forgive me, i must have forgotten to introduce myself! I'm Tristan Monrey, the pleasure is mine Clockwork" he said with a smile. with a last look at the other zune he made his way inside and up several flights of stairs before the emerged into a room with two desks with various tools covering them, a small table, several bookshelves lining the walls and boxes upon boxes of clocks stacked against the back wall. Besides them, the room was vacant. " huh, guess dad went out somewhere. He's usually in here working" he shrugged and led Clockwork to one of the desks. He pulled an extra chair over so Clockwork could watch comfortably and sat down. " alright, now set everything down here, gently please."

Clockwork smiled. "It's nice meeting you, Mr. Monrey." He followed him upstairs, he loved books and seeing the tools and mechanics all around. It was interesting. Making his way over to the table he tripped and panicked, almost dropping the pieces to his clock and sighed with relief when he caught them, not loosing any. "I'm sorry." he laughed nervously before getting up and carefully placing them on the table. "You could say I have two left feet."

Tristan smiled slightly " no worries, no harm done so its good." once the clock and its pieces were placed on the table. he began separating the pieces, spreading them out. With that done, he pulled out a magnifying glass from one of the drawers and examined each piece carefully " a few of these pieces are too bent to use. But we have spare parts here that i can use. " he said, glancing at Clockwork to make sure it was ok to replace some of the parts

'What?" Clockwork looked worried, his necklace was one of a kind there wasn't another like it. "You have the same kind of materials for the repair? I've never had to repair my Clock before so I don't know if anything would fit or work right with it. Taking a small breather he gave a sigh. "I'll trust you to fix it, I guess I'm just over thinking things."

Tristan smiled reassuringly " stop worrying so much, i said I'd get it fixed and i always keep my word." he said then pulled out another drawer and pulled out several small boxes containing spare parts. He spent several minutes deciding which parts would work best with the clock in question. " there, that should do it for parts. Now all i have to do it put it all back together."

Clockwork gave a nod but it didn't stop his fidgeting as he watched. He kept his distance so not to bother Tristan's work, a bit amazed at his handy-work.

Tristan fell silent again as he pulled out various tools and set to work placing every part with utmost care. He didn't rush, but he tried to speed things up as much as possible without interfering with the quality of the repair, seeing as Clockwork still seemed nervous. A while later, he fitted the last piece into place, a satisfied smile on his face as he slid the back of the clock into place. " There! good as new!" he said handing the newly repaired clock to Clockwork " what do you think? did i do alright?"

Clockwork looked it over having the biggest smile on his face. "It looks better than it did before! How can I repay you?" He hooked it around his neck, so happy to have it fixed. "Oh, you said you could also help me with my wing. It is attached to my back though, but don't mind hurting it, I really don't feel much pain in my wings since they're mechanical."

Tristan waved his paw " don't worry about it, it's what i do. And allowing me to examine your wings is more than enough, to be honest, they fascinate me" he said sliding out of his chair. He nodded " don't worry, ill be careful"

"Are you sure? Do you need me to sit anywhere?" Clockwork was a bit curious why his old wings fascinated the Zune so much. "Um by the way, you mind explaining why?"

he shook his head " there is fine" he said and walked closer " sorry, i don't mean to sound creepy, its just, i love mechanical things. You could say its a passion, so whenever i come across a new bit of machinery, i get excited thinking about the possibility's." he said then began to examine the wing that was giving him trouble, trying to identify the problem. It only took him a moment to find that Clockwork had been right. The culprit, or rather culprits were several rusty screws " you were right about the rusty screws." he said and returned to his desk, rummaging around till he found a box containing screws of varying size

"Oh no, I don't think it's creepy. I find it rather reassuring." Clockwork smiled. "You can take you time examining and fixing them if you'd like. I Really don't mind. They're a real hassle though. Specially around water, they gears tent to rust easy, specially when I shower. You could imagine how hard it is to find ways to keep them from being wet, specially when i can't reach the base themselves. That's why I usually go to the town repairman. Appointments are rather hard to get though. If it makes it easier on you, the gold pieces can come off."

Tristan felt a bit relived " oh good, some people tend to find me a bit creepy or weird, so it's a relief to find someone that dosent." He nodded as Clockwork spoke about the hassles of having the wings while he tried to find the right screws " hm, that would be a problem huh? i... aha!" he said as he found the screws he needed. Carefully he removed the gold pieces and set them to the side. Returning to his desk, he grabbed a can of what looked to be some sort of rust remover and a screwdriver " ill have to spray this on the screws, or else ill have trouble getting the screws out."
