"Isi !" She called out for her brother, pointing outside. Birdies ! Birdies !
The birds that had Caelia so excited was a duck that had taken to swimming into the fountain. Birrrdies~ ! Not like the Kyrie-looking birdies that were all over the balcony, no, but bright and colorful birdies !
Mid-way into her cheerful babbling, however, Augury seemed to go strangely silent, more or less staring at the duck as it flew off.

"I see..." muttered the god, as he reached up with his free hand to stroke his stubbled chin. Admittedly, it was already pretty apparent that Soto was a bit of a troublemaker -- otherwise the hit-and-run with him would never have happened. "At any rate, I just ran into him a few minutes ago, and he told me he was running away from the Pantheon. I... could not catch him... so he succeeded. I do not know how far he might have gone." His failure to do anything about the situation was somewhat shameful to admit. Hopefully Cosine would have some ideas about what (or what not) to do. Being child-handled by the little Crow was, admittedly, a little outside his comfort zone, but it was nothing he couldn't learn to tolerate. So at Cosine's question, he began to reply, "No, it's no trouble at a--" --but was quickly interrupted, as the god became less of a casual distraction and more of a jungle gym. Instead of saying more, he just sort of gasped helplessly as his lap became occupied and little feathered hands drew dangerously close to his hazardous wings.

Oooh! They were pretty birdies indeed. Isidore liked the colourful feathers and the way they were swimming around. He turned to his sister and grinned, though she looked a little funny, just staring. "Cae?" He gave her a light nudge to see what was up.
"Oh." Was Cosine's reply. She did not think that running away from the Pantheon was a good thing at all. Though Soto was a god, he was also young and would not be able to fully defend himself. "That is not good at all. I should tell Ankou, he will be able to ... Kyrie, get down! We don't just climb on people." Her green eyes went to his wings and an eyebrow raised slowly. "Kyrie, careful." Cosine stepped forwards and lifted her daughter from Judgement's lap to her hip. It seemed manners were something that had to be taught by perseverance. "I really am sorry Glaucon."

Kyrie paused in her exploration as she balanced precariously on Judgement's legs at her mother's admonishment. Blinking big blue eyes, she looked between Judgement's gold eyes to his fascinating wings. But before she could make another move, her mother had plucked her away from him. Cawing in frustration, she kicked her legs a bit before reluctantly settling on her mother's hip. Holding tightly to her robes, she looked back down at her new friend, then looked to her siblings. She didn't understand why they weren't over there trying to explore the new person, until she noticed their attention caught by something at the window. Wriggling a little, she tried to get her mother to let her back down to the floor. 'Down!' she thought to her mother.

Caelia remained silent for a little more, only blinking until the duck was finally out of sight... And then tilting her head slightly at the window as she seemed to ponder what she had just seen.
Really, she was too young to understand what she had just done, and what had just happened, or what she had just seen even meant. She just grinned back at Isidore after being poked - everything was fine !
She pointed at the now empty sky, and pouted a little. The birdie was gone... And she had no idea how to explain to her brother what had happened. It did not seem like he had seen what she had seen.

Glaucon fidgeted around the wooden armrests of his chair as the child stood on his lap, unsure of how to conduct himself. She was too young to be reprimanded by anyone but her own parents! Her eyes were vibrant with genuine curiosity, admirable and befitting a child of Number, but her inquisitiveness could have led her to a worsened first impression of the god if Cosine hadn't plucked her up and away from danger. It made Judgement breathe a sigh of relief to have the situation diffused, as domestic as it was. "It is fine," he replied, with a slow dismissive wave. "She has an active mind. Which, I'm not surprised..." A meaningful nod was given in Cosine's direction, along with a brief smirk. "And I hope you are able to track down Soto soon. I am sorry I could not do more to help, but I am confident you and the Spirit Guide will have the situation under control."Not that he'd seen or heard of Ankou in quite a long time. He remembered the god seeming quite diligent and determined, though.

"Yes, I will go and look for him perhaps. I am sure he will not wander too far. Echo probably keeps a pretty close watch on him." She knew she would do so if one of hers took to 'exploring' and running off.
Her attention was taken a moment by Kyrie and at the child's unspoken request she set her down on the floor.
"How have you been Glaucon? It has been a long time since I have seen you. Though, it has been busy here. Harmodius coming and going, the council formation, I have not long returned from a journey to find one of the Forge gods."
Isi noted the slight sadness in his sister's body language, no birdies. Smiling he moved closer and gave her a tight hug. It would be okay, there were lots more birdies out there somewhere. He was sure of it!

Kyrie toddled over to her siblings and held onto the windowsill as she peered up at the empty sky. Blinking a few times, she looked back to Caelia and Isidore and reached out to put her hand on Cae's shoulder. She didn't know what had caused her sister to be upset, but she didn't like it. 'Kay?' she asked silently, tilting her head to the side as she studied her sister.

Brother hug !
Yes, Caelia did quite like this, even if Isidore was cold-cold. She squeezed her brother tight, then looked sideways when she felt her sister's hand on her shoulder. "Kay." She nodded.
Through, now mommy seemed so busy with the shiny god... She eyed the library door, expression turning impish as she looked back at her siblings. Where they thinking the same thing that she did ?
Maybe if they got to that strange green world outside, maybe she could find the birdie again !
Yes... Yes. This was the perfect plan. Augury tugged on her brother's sleeve, and looked to her sister with a grin.
Then she would slip out the door, fully expecting her siblings to follow.
