"Or me and you," Harrison smirked as Rep sauntered up and Rin pulled Sasha over. More power to her. Jordan already had his hammer out. "Heh, practical, all I figure is that we deserve more than the luxury of two minutes a month to ourselves."

They'd already stumbled over their first body, and something else was squealing in the fog.

Harrison readied his swords. "Let's give these fog monsters something to squeal about."

The misty freak smacked her from behind, and Madison stumbled, a curl of fog leaving improbable scrapes along both her skin and Kouki's shield. She whipped one blade back, but hit mostly nothing. Still, a small jolt indicated that she'd at least nicked what solidity the freak had, and it was enough for Kouki to gain a bit more charge.

Rep gave Harrison a smirk that was more confident than he felt. "Heh. Aye."

Hefting Tracey up he went for the most imminent threat close to hand, leaping into the air to swipe at the thing as hard as he could, but he felt the blade hit nothing but fog.

He narrowed his eyes and clenched his hands all the tighter around the hilt of the axe, embarrassed at missing but determined not to show it. "******** things." he spat, ready to attack all over again.

Aleister backed up a bit as he swung pookie around to hit the small mob watching it stager back from the attack. Haha! He managed to hit it. Now if he could keep that up it he might actually be useful to the others.

Well, it looked like they had some blockers, but it never could have hurt to have another set of helping hands, she figured. She was pretty OK at blocking things, after all.

"Well, looks like we've got a big one here, Jordan. How about I worry about it comin' after you for a bit?" she suggested, not even wasting time on stepping in to fend off any incoming strikes in the sun's direction.

Madison gave Cass a quick nod before pivoting on one foot and launching herself at the fog-thing again - a big Sun with a bigger weapon had taken a swipe, and as with Jordan's prior swing she leapt into the wake of his attack. Fog clutched at her, but she stabbed forward with both blades and was rewarded with the sense of impact.

Then she was gone again, darting out of reach with Kouki coming up into a defensive position. The runes on the swords were bright with FEAR now, her weapon hissing in her mind, ready to kill. If he could manage it, that is...

As others stepped in to get a hit in on larger monster, Jordan took a moment to grin and raise a hand in greeting to the people arriving. Then Cass was stepping up to defend him, and he nodded to her. "Thanks."

The things claws were deflected by her blade, and as it recoiled, Jordan swung Ferros into the center of its mass, a satisfying shock telling him that they'd made a dent. Ferros snarled gleefully.

"I wonder how many of these that we have left to take out." He looked around, hopefully there were only a few left. After all they had tried to work hard to get the dorms cleaned out, but it seemed things kept spawning on them. Of course, he wasn't paying attention to the creature when it got back up and he ended up getting snatched at, leaving some holes in his pants at his knee. "H-hey!"

Aleister frowned, "Those were my favorite pants." He told the thing.

Cass grinned. "Not a bad hit." She commented before she fended off another strike of the creature's claws - however, probably not as well as she should have.

"Thanks. You're doing pretty awesome yourself," Jordan answered, and dove in for another strike as Cass's blade once again fended off the monster's claws.

It was a glancing hit, barely a hit at all, but Jordan could feel Ferros drawing in a charge, simmering with heat just ready to explode.

Kouki hissed eagerly, and Madison chuckled. "Okay, okay... go get 'em," she said, and mentally released the serpent-sword. The swords glowed brightly as all four blades rose into the air, free of her hands and the scabbards - and then they whipped forward, snakelike, slicing at the beast before them-

We cannot find a place to bite! Kouki snarled in fury, but it was too late. The charge was expended, and the last bit of power went to returning the blades back to where they'd come from. Madison caught two of the swords by their hilts, squeezing them in what she hoped was a reassuring ******** a tricky one," she called out, narrowing her eyes at the damn thing. "Maybe you'll have better luck, Jordan..." She could see the gleam in Ferros' runes too.

Instead she needed to pay attention, frowning as it seemed either the insanity creature was hitting harder or she was doing worse at pushing it ********> 50/50

Sasha gave Rin a quick hug when the other woman approached - her own designated Moon. With a grin Sasha took her time debating on how to attack before finally deciding. And failing.

"My knees are still sore," Sasha grumbled as she cowered behind Rin once more.

The fog-thing struck out again, and Cass deflected it. "We'll set it on fire a little extra for you, Maddie," Jordan called, and moved in to swing at the creature.

Ferros burst into flame with a gleeful, grating howl as he passed through the monster, and it thrashed in pain. It wasn't yet gone, but Jordan thought it looked a bit thinner. Perhaps.
