As Poke started gawking at Riyo's admittance to revenge, the feline finally took a bite out of her sandwich. Carefully, tactically.
And when Mitsu was mentioned, she not-so-carefully choked. "Uh... No. She didn't."
For the first time, a pang of guilt was visible on the demon's face. She had no qualms with hurting Shun, but the idea that it would hurt Mitsu too is what caused her to step in and help in the first place.
Folding her arms, Riyo pointed her nose to the air. "That's the only reason I let him live anyways. I know Mitsu likes him, though why I'll never understand."

It was probably a good thing she never found out about that, as Poke could see her getting very upset. Not that she was about to say anything either, especialy with the feline just admitting offing the boil. Listening to her talk about sparing his life though was a bit much; it was stupidly hard to kill anyone. Permanently that is.
Well...most of the time.
"She must have her reason for liking him" She replied to Riyo, not sure either as to the depths of Mitsu and Shun's relationship.

"Yeah? Well that reason is a complete mystery to me. He has the personality of a brick." As far as Riyo had seen, at the very least. She couldn't really talk about smiling, but her personality could be somewhat described as spicy some of the time. Shun just seemed... Neutral.
"I mean, think about it. When have you seen him look anything but neutral?"

"I haven't, but then I've only seem him a few times. I'm sure that, given the right circumstances, Shun might make a...slightly difference face." Poke said, trying to think of said circumstances.
In terms, of personality, the dragoness could be considered as...a bomb waiting to go off. Or at the very worst, she had been describe as "A fire dragon born in a water dragons body".
"Maybe Mitsu knows something that we don't?" She then suggested

Maybe she did. Though Riyo didn't look so convinced. The feline's brow furrowed as she took another small bite of her sandwich. "Well, let me put it to you this way. She likes hanging out with me."
That should've been enough to suggest that Mitsu was just an all-around good person, but just in case Riyo decided to continue. "I'm selfish. I don't care to make friends with people I don't like. I can be rude, and I get into fist fights with the people I DO like. I'm thinking the odds are against Shun hiding something good and more leaning towards the fact that Mitsu is like some kind of goddess of patience." Though.. they had broken her once. The image of the ghoul's angry face would never leave the back of Riyo's mind. Eeeugh..

Riyo had a amazing knack for describing herself as the worst person ever, at least that what Poke heard it as. But it was interesting to note how some of the qualities she listed, she herself could relate to. Especially the fist fight part.
"Mitsu does seem like a extremely friendly ghoul" She agreed, nodding her head. "She was keen to show me around when I first got here, and has always been friendly to me. It's...nice to have someone be so nice to you." And not have to consider if they want something out of you, or are doing it for some alternate means

Extremely friendly was a good word to describe the lupine nowadays. "She used to be really skittish. You couldn't talk to her without the ghoul being nervous as hell." Riyo mused, breaking open a carton of milk.
"Yeah, I guess so." It was indeed nice to know at least one person who wanted nothing from you but friendship. "I just worry that someday her unquestioning kindness will be the end of her. She's not the kind of person to question a friendly face." At least, it didn't seem so.

Thinking back to the florestival, Poke could remember Mitsu being very shy, and at some point even looking beaten up. (Although that was from the raptor minipet maze). "It's good to hear she's gotten over her nervousnesses" she said, taking the opportunity to shovel more food in her mouth.
"I...hope it doesn't come to that" The dragoness said, frowning at the thought of someone taking advantage of the lycan. "But then, hopefully Shun would be able to do something should someone try. I wouldn't want to mess with Mitsu justing knowing that boil is close by." Not to mention she would be happy to step in as well.

"Well, I suppose that's what he's good for." Protecting Mitsu. Thinking about it that way, Shun had been moved up a few pegs on the importance scale, if only for Mitsu's sake.
"Well, since I'm stuck here eating lunch with you, what brings you to Amityville? Surely you heard some of the terrible rumors spreading around before your enrollment was accepted." She would've thought that was enough to drive most of the new students away.

The question brought a toothy grin to Poke's face, and she even chuckled. "Rumors? About the disapearing students and those reapers? Doesn't scare me at all. Amityville still is the best school around education wise, plus it's a lot easier to get into brawls without being disciplined. My old school taught me nothing useful, and it was driving me nuts. The four clans, however..." She coughed, moving on to something more safe. "Besides, those rumors have spread to the whole of halloween. No place is safe."

"Well..." Riyo promptly finished her tuna sandwich and stacked the rest together with the milk cartons she'd grabbed. "You know the risks then. I guess the only other thing for me to say is good luck."
With a sigh, the ghoul stood with her hands full, ready to escape back to her dorm. "So uh. Good luck." Riyo gave Poke a nod of acknowledgement before starting the long walk back, hoping the dragon wouldn't be tempted to follow this time now that she got what she wanted.
