Looked like they were starting to get a bit closer now. Taith trumpted out another challenge before making a hairpin turn and continuing her upward ascent. Let's see how quickly these males could manage the turn...

Milnth felt a tug on his tail just as Gneisth pulled ahead and got closer, he turned his head and saw the blue that he'd lashed his tail at. He risked losing ground on the Green and turned to lash at the offending male before turning back to the chase. He didn't even bother checking if his claws his their target.

Troiseth should of known better than to grab a tail during a flight, but it actually helped him. He felt the graze of claws as he shot forward, past the brown. The blue feeling a bit impish, flicked his tail at Minith as a thanks for the boost. His eyes now on the green and her antics.

Seemed they'd managed to make the turn without falling too far behind. In fact, that one blue was catching up with the lead brown. Taith dove down into another series of rolls, gaining a fair amount of speed in the process. The Flight definitely wasn't over just yet.

NO!.. nononono .. this wasn't how it was supposed to go.... a BLUE?!!! was in front of him ... of all the dastardly things..... Milnth roared his frustration and strove after the Green, determined to gain the ground he'd lost. Taith would be HIS .. he knew it.
YES... see he showed them, he snapped at the Blue's tail as he passed both him and Gneisth, claws reaching for the Green but just falling short.... but he was closer than the other two now.

His eyes on Taith, the blue just barely pulled his tail from the brown he just passed. Growling, Troiseth put forth a surge. Not this time. He would get the green!

No! He'd lost his lead when the other brown surged ahead. And now the blue was neck in neck? The sight of tail tweaking was amusing but - no! Gneisth, focus! He would fly his best, or be disappointed later.

Hey! She never told them they could get closer yet! The green swirved off to the side, trying to put some more distance between herself and her pursuers. She would be the one to decide when it was time!

Gneisth swerved to follow her, but his large size worked against him on the agility factor. He needed to catch up, somehow...

Troiseth was embarrassed that the prank did not work in his favor, falling back to watch the browns getting closer. He swerved to follow Taith and put distance between him and the browns.

So close, so close! In an attempt to once again shake off her pursuers Taith pulled another hairpin turn, ducking under the chasing dragons in the process. It was a risky move, but if she was to be caught then she would go out fighting.

Gneisth knew one thing: he was definitely going to have to practice these turns and twists far more carefully in wing drills in the future! He was nowhere near the limit of his endurance, but unfortunately agility was mattering much more at the moment...

He was right behind her, Taith's tail so close to tweaking and she went under him. NO! It was a blue's turn to get the girl and Troiseth would be that blue! He diverted his course to go under the browns, right behind the green. Even the time in the drills wasn't make him lack in endurance right now.
