It was long, it was meaningful, and it lasted. That made her…happy. She held onto the kiss for as long as he did, and her lips reluctantly left his as her eyes slid open to stare back at him. “Oh?” She murmured back. “You do, huh?” She paused for a moment before her lips quirked into a small bittersweet smile.
“Because it does not feel like you do, usually.”

Mot smiled bashfully, closing his eyes a moment. "I'm bad for that, I realize. I'm terribly dishonest with myself." He looked to Hel again, brows knit together a little worriedly. "I run. I'm quite the coward. But I really do love you. You mean more to me than anyone I've ever known, and despite my aversions I do feel desire for you. I'm just.. a bit.." He hesitated, not wanting to admit he was shy and self conscience.
He blushed, red tinting his earlobes as he pulled away. "Sorry, I get nervous so easily."

Hel just quietly listened to the cowboil, and her smile fell. She seemed a bit saddened as he finally pulled away as well, and her hands dropped to her sides. The ghoul shifted her weight to one foot and rested her hands on her hips, staring at her door nearby idly.
She hummed a bit. “…Ah…I see. Your diversions…are stronger than your desire though…” She looked down at her feet for a long moment before she turned back to her door, and fished through a pocket for her key.

Mot used to be so good with words. But lately, all his words pushed Hel away.
The reaper visibly deflated, scratching his neck as the Valkyrie fumbled around for her key. "They were. But.. desire is becoming stronger. I promise it is." He shifted in place uncomfortably. "Would you believe that one year ago I could not hug a ghoul without fainting?"

Hel fumbled around for her key, brows furrowing.
“…I know words are important…and you are very good with them…but…I will always be an…’action’ kind of being.” She murmured. As in: actions speak louder than words. Hel paused at Mot’s statement, glancing over at him. “…I am not surprised but…that is sad, too.” She looked back at her door. “…That seems…awfully lonely as well…contact, I think, is a wonderful thing. It is another way to reaffirm a bond you share with another.” She found her key and unlocked her door.

Lonely. Had it been lonely? He couldn't remember anymore. His days before Amity were too far away now. As if they were no longer real.
Mot's heart panicked as her door unlocked. Was she still mad? Would she shut him out? The reaper's eyes darted about, a hand coming to his mouth, drumming his bottom lip as he worried. "It.. it is important.." He said in a small voice, watching the back of Hel's head worriedly.
In a move of panic, Mot reached forward and grasped Hel's hand that had the key. "U-um.." His face flushed, averting his eyes from his action. "Did.. did you want to spend the night.. in my room tonight?"
Unless she was still too mad...

What was she going to do now? That was a good question. Hel did seem to linger in front of her door after she unlocked it.
Her hand being suddenly enclosed by Mot’s though caught her off guard, and her head snapped up to stare at the grim, surprise crossing her features. That was a rather uh…bold move on his part. He rarely did anything to stop whatever she was doing. This meant a lot to her. She stared up at the cowboil, watching as he averted his eyes from her, and she smiled softly.
He took some initiative. He asked her to spend the night. That made her happy. “…Of course.”

Mot's eyes met Hel's once again, looking almost surprised that Hel had smiled and accepted. Surprised, but more so relieved. His insecurities often got the better of him more often than they should.
The reaper smiled softly, his features relaxing. He kept his hand around hers.
He nodded his head toward his door, waiting for her in case she needed anything before following after him.

Hel didn’t mind at all that Mot still held her hand. As he nodded to his door, she gave a small nod of her own and opened hers, leading him in to her room just to grab her sleep clothes. Once she was done, she softly squeezed his hand and nodded a bit to him. “…Alright, I am good.” She murmured.
If she needed anything else that bad, she was just across the hall.
