Heidla smiled. "You look nicely today, did I tell you that?" "As for the Halloweeners.... I used to despise them, but actually they are nice. Mostly nice. I mean, those I met are nice", she paused not sure whether to tell the other priestess about her revelations. "The strangest thing is that I somehow realized that our way of seeing it was not the only one possible". For a moment she thought that she might have said too much. She was not sure whether this was not heresy, after all, and she was even less sure that the other priestess would understand. So she hastened to add: "I mean they seem to have been going quite well without us.... And sometimes I wish I could have a part in this world... That is now, after our world is gone.... And it is sometimes easier for me to adapt to the new people here than to get in tune with other clansmen. They are so demanding! So blind! So full of themselves... As that Famine clanswoman with her water...", Heidla's smile was bitter. "Not that I have met many horsemen here. But I guess our loss is too heavy, and we're not ready to accept it".

Erintis nodded as she listened to Heidla speak. "Oh well thank you Heidla. You look exceptionally nice as well..."She looked at her when she made comment about the students. Did her companion think that the halloweeners could possibly function on their own? "Oh Heidla you cannot be serious...the halloweeners they would be lost without us...or what is left of us that is. We have always been apart of this place weither they knew or not..."She wondered if the reason Heilda was so keen to be apart of the town because they had lost so much. Looking at her from the side, "Heidla...have you not..mingled with our own people since being here?"Erintis had a thought that, that might be the case seeing how she had acted earlier but she didn't want to jump to conclusions.

"No, I haven't", Heidla answered tensely and as if in defiance. "Everyone was too busy, and I just didn't want to go out for a while. And then I came out, and the only burden I got was that they burdened me with various tasks! And I was running errands, and then got lost, and there were Halloween people who helped me out, not my kin! I actually have not seen my kin since the day..." her voice broke. She paused, staring nowhere, trying to get a better wording of what she was going to say, and then suddenly shot it out accusingly: " Our kin are more preoccupied with themselves, than with the ways of Death. I have not seen any horseman paying us our due, or praying with us, or following our paths. Haven't you noticed that?" Heidla was getting all too emotional, and her voice acquired a sharp edge to it. "I t would be easier to convert the Halloweeners than to make other clansmen hear us. Do they care? Do they want to know the truth?"Wyntre IceBlade It must be her soft spot, as she's getting all worked up smile

Erintis blinked a few times at the sudden outburst. She hadn't actually thought about it that much, considering that prior to their downfall she had not really paid any mind to anyone. Not even her fellow priestess' she was so preoccupied with the history and lore and ways of Death that she hadn't thought to make any friends even then. And now as she sat there with her robes in the water and hearing Heidla's words she wondered if she was doing the right thing by trying to help and teach and rebuild. Or would it have been better if the Priestess were revered and worshipped again. "I...uh...well maybe our own people are still grieving? We did lose so much when it happened."For once Erintis' normally calm and scholarly voice wavered. She actually wasn't sure of much anymore.

" We did", Heidla nodded. " And it hurts me most, that other clans do not realize it. Nor do they seem sympathetic to our loss. That is why I believe that Halloween dwellers might be more useful to us, if we want to get back what we lost". "But our knowledge is so limited here", she signed. "I guess, a library should be our first step. We might inquire whether they have a library here, and make them share the materials... Probably we'll be able to find a key..." She kept silence for a moment, but then smiled roguishly: "A fter all, we're still alive, and the best thing is never to stop learning and moving forward!" Wyntre IceBlade I guess we might be finishing it, as the month is almost over, what do you think? We can start a new one later - as they seem to get on well together.

Erintis nodded slowly, yes she could see that, but the thought of creating a new place a new library that would be something she could possibly help with smiling happily she rung out her robes one last time before standing, "Perhaps we should go back and speak with the head priestess about creating a library in our area...I know there was talk about creating structures, I am sure if two of us ask we might have better luck at getting it."She wasn't sure if that was entirely true but it was something to look forward to, even if it was just for now.
