Willow's tail curled as she sat down with her legs tucked under her. "They seem to exist from my experience. Of course without actual humans we wouldn't exist, they're more worried about the hunters."
She paused, "The hunters are what's dangerous." She answered, "I don't know how they manage to always ruin our field trips." Her nose wrinkled a bit as she thought, "Kinda horrible what they do to us when they catch us."
She seemed to be watching in case someone was walking around she didn't want to hear her speak.

Right, so far she didn't have a problem with normal humans. Just Hunters. Obviously, since they needed to scare normals in order to exist. The idea made his skin crawl. Creatures like her made his life Hell! He tried to swallow his hate, quelling the urge to yell and lash out. So badly he wanted to tell her they all got what they deserved. Deserved to have field trips ruined, deserved to be scared shitless.
He held back. It was hard to do, but he held back.
"I guess it'd be nice to have the power to fight back?"

She paused, looking at him, "Power to fight back?"
She seemed to consider this, "It might be useful, handy even. However, the power to be able to live in balance and not have to fight would be nice." She paused looking at the ghoul.
"I'm not sure which is worse the hunters taking over or the horsemen killing all the humans..." She shook her head slightly. "It's natural to fear somethings right? Even if we're made of fear...."

Live in peace? Feh, as if he could ever allow that to happen. Not that it was within his ability to control, it just wasn't on his wish list.
Still, her stance was on a peaceful way to end things. It looked as thought she may not quite be a candidate. Perhaps.
Ah, so this one understood why the Horsemen were dangerous. That was somewhat good to know. Still, as a 'new student', Otto didn't want to assume that everyone knew this. "Anyone'd be scared if their whole existence was in danger of being wiped out. Specially if it seems totally outta yer hands.." He said, almost bitterly. He had to hold his tongue a moment longer before speaking again. Those Horsemen got what they deserved.
"If I was given an opportunity to fight back, I'd take it.... considering the alternative is genocide." So, these Horsemen almost destroyed the source of these creatures existence, right? That had to account for something. They needed humans. Tis might help the Hunters find candidates. Maybe.

Willow's tail flickered almost irritably, though she looked at the zombie for a second. Unsure if she really expected it to believe such a thing as being wiped out. Brow lofting a bit, before she went back to thinking.
"Conflicting visions..." She paused, "On one hand if the horsemen didn't exist we wouldn't either, on the other hand if the hunters no longer existed, we wouldn't exist either."
She started laughing as if it was some weird cosmic joke. "Unless we can find a way to stop both the horsemen and the humans, we no longer exist. It's a losing battle either way, and that's probably why the boogeymen try to keep anyone from knowing it."
She paused, "What do you think that opportunity would be?" Her tail twitched she seemed to be questioning something. Was it in her head or was it the ghoul sitting in front of her? Willow couldn't quite figure it out.

And she asked it. Even Otto wasn't sure how to answer. There was no easy way without giving away that he was a hunter. "A way to change things from the inside. Maybe. None would be the wiser if you worked from the inside. Like.. a spy or something. You'd be a step ahead."
Otto fidgeted with the skirt again, feeling horribly uncomfortable in it. "If you had that opportunity, would you take it?"

Willow paused, there was a moment of thought and then she shook her head, "It's already been tried." There was a pause, "They said Halloween cannot die, but she did." Willow fell silent for a few moments. "Being a spy won't work unless death is your goal."
She shook her head again, "I can befriend the horsemen there's no need to spy on them, the nicer you are, the more understanding and willing to learn their ways. I'm sure they'd see it as kindness, knowing they're important to this world."
She paused, "Humans don't accept that. You try to warn them, you try to help them the only thing they do is kick you back down. Even when we're working for the same cause, the same reasons at times. After, that few moments they go back hating us. I just don't understand why..."

She? Who died? To be honest, otto assumed these beasts didn't die either. Apparently they could? Those Horsemen got turned into a giant Phoenix, after all. What ever.
So, she would rather befriend the Horsemen than trust a human? Definitely not candidate material. Otto was ready to give up.
Her last words got under his skin something nasty. His mind blurred with rage. She didn't know why? Bull s**t.. didn't she know what torment her kind inflicted on him? Ignorance or not, he could barely let it slide. Tenya had to mentally hold him back as he fought the urge to lash out again.
The undead golem got to her feet suddenly, the angry expression faltering. "Right.." He said through gritted teeth. "Stupid humans, right?" His voice shook slightly, his bone hand clenching along with his fleshy one.
"I ain't feeling so good. I gotta go."

Willow paused, looking at Tenya. Noticing the tension. ".... they're not stupid.... I never said they were." Her eyes narrowed a bit, "Humans are every bit as intelligent as any one of us, otherwise they couldn't do some of the things they do."
She took a breath, "But I believe; like us, like our boogeymen; they can be lied to and lead astray by their authority figures."
The fact the other was clenching her fist and well instead of not looking like it felt good, it looked like it was mad. Willow stood and gave a bow; eyes ever watching the zombie ghoul, "If you must leave, though it's a shame you seem mad instead of not feeling well." It had perked her curiosity actually.
There was a moment where Willow considered her next question very heavily before asking, "I offended you didn't I?"

Her words held logic. Humans and Halloween, there were countless similarities. His hate blinded him to a good portion of them. Despite the fact she seemed to be making up for any slander or miscommunication, he could not bring himself to forgive her.
She also seemed to see through his lie. She new he was mad. He did not hide it well at all. His dead looking eyes flicked up to meet Willow's. "Yeah. You have. In ways I don't think you'll ever understand." He answered her, trying not to outright say why she'd offended him. Such a thing would give away who he was.
Otto turned, limping away from the student. He needed to cool down, and plan out a better way to do his job.

Willow watched him, as she leaned against the tree her arms crossed, watching Otto walking away. "Mmmhmm... you weren't that way until I spoke about humans..."
Willow had a feeling that maybe it was a human she let him get a good distance away before giving some advice. "Try not lying to me next time you come back." It sounded almost friendly. "If you have something important to say, sometimes it's better to come out and say it and not beat around the bush."
The tigress shook her head, if the zombie ghoul really was a human. Well.... maybe the boogeymen needed to start thinking about more logical things to do instead of hiding everything. She shifted back to her natural form and curled back up for a nap. Eh, they could bother her all the wanted as long as they didn't start fighting here.

Crap. She knew.
Otto almost hesitated, almost faltered, but he kept his pace as even as it had been when he left. If he said nothing, than it was neither truth nor lie.
