Eri looked at Karit and shrugged it would make sense that they had similar ideas from time to time, after all they were brothers and had been raised by their mother. Life was hard for Raz? That bothered Eri a bit. He wanted the lives of his brothers to be easy as his own. There were times when it was hard, but for the most part life was more enjoyable than difficult. He nodded his head and watched his brother take off toward the other Azrein then stop a ways distance from them and wait for the other Azrein to come to him. With Raz handling the other azrein Eri focused his conversation on Karit while keeping an eye on Raz in the distance. “I too have traveled. Though mostly alone. I have met a few very interesting Azrein though. You are right though. It is odd that we have all met up like this.” The moonlight must be playing tricks on him. It looked like their mother was coming toward them. Blinking he wracked his brain. Brother? Was this really Nasu? It might not be. Raz was too far away to hear what was going on. "Karit does that stallion look like mother to you?"

His gaze sooner or later was casted onto the azrein that Eri had questioned him about. Without looking, he spoke, "A stallion looking like mother? Most likely its Nasu!" Looking up, he squinted his eyes. The features looked the same as their mother's, even had the same colors and flowers. Walking forth a bit, he blinked. Raz seemed to be getting along with the stranger without giving any signs of aggression, so it had to be him, right?
"Do you think that that's him?" he whispered.

Just brought over from the other page.
He walked towards his brother. Now why wasn't he in trouble like what it sounded like? "I'm glad that you have won yet another battle brother!" the youngest congratulated. Noticing that there were no visible injuries, he blinked in wonder. "Or were the strangers just at the border by mistake? I'm certain that I have heard a cry from you."
Nasu was clearly confused and naive of what was happening this night. "Say, maybe we should just stray away from the herd tonight and search for Flighty and Savina? I'm sure that they wouldn't mind us barging in on whatever reason that they're meeting up." The simple fantasy of meeting his long lost mother once again was like the only thing that this fragile one wished for, other than having the family as one of course.

Raz shook his head at his youngest brother's statement. He knew his little brother looked up to him, but sometimes Raz found him bothersome. "Nasu, there has been no battle. Those are not strangers, and you did not hear a cry from me. Those are our brothers over there, and they have come south to visit us. Come, let us rejoin them. They have both asked after you." Raz turned and headed back to their brothers, who were staring at them as they approached.
"Fear not brothers! Our little brother has braved the wilds," he called, and snorted a laugh, "and come north thinking it might be a nice idea to go in search of Mother and Father."

"Oh." Feeling hot from embarassment, he flattened his ears and slowly followed Raz to his other brothers. Would they think of him foolish too? "I hope that they aren't looking for Daddy either..."
Just seeing the others made the stallion nervous. To come and see him? There was bound to be another purpose to this meeting! "I... I'm serious Raz." he muttered. He knew that his brother did not mean to make fun of him, but still.

Raz turned his head as he walked, to address his brother's concern. "They have indeed come to see Father, but I have already informed them that he has gone North to see Mother. Now come along. Let us not keep them waiting any longer." It didn't him long to rejoin the other two, and he gave them ample time to greet their youngest brother.
While they had their little reunion of sorts, he stood guard, and kept watch over them. They may have all been born on the same day, but Raz was still first-born of the four, and as such, he took great pride in making sure that they were all safe while in his company. Perhaps that was one of the reasons he was so reluctant to leave the herd, and his father. Being first-born, he felt he had an obligation to his father, and leaving would bring shame on his father that he didn't want to be responsible for.

Nasu nodded walking past his bother to meet Eri. He did always feel small around most of his herd, but right now he felt the same as the others. "Woah! You've grown to be so handsome Eri! And the way that your hair is shaped."
Feeling awkward, he looked at his two long lost brothers. "So how's Mommy? And now do you two want to join the herd?" Just asking those two questions brought hope and joy back into the curious son.
He watched as Raz stood guard. Always watching over the four of them like when they were far much more younger than when they remember. He wanted to watch with his brother, but he knew of the pride that many stallions carried when being a leader. It was as if Raz was the leader of this little herd. I hope that he would be able to take charge one day. He saw alot of potential for him.
Now Nasu, his most like mother brother spoke. Seemed like he was waiting for the question to spill out? "I haven't seen our Mother in a long time Nasu." he stated. He absolutely did not want to answer the latter question.

Eri chuckled at his brother’s reaction to him. “Brother I’ve been told that I look good before, but that was by a lovely mare. Most males don’t go calling others handsome. Still thank you brother. I have to admit you look so much like mother I’m shocked.” He felt a protective streak when he looked at Nasu. He noticed that Raz stood guard and understood the reason. They might be on the edge of the evil land, but even there if others saw he and Karit then Nasu and Raz could end up in trouble. “Nasu, mother was well last I saw her, but that was some time ago.”
Looking from Karit to Raz and then back to Nasu he cleared his throat not sure how to handle the later question. He thought for a moment. “Nasu I’m sorry I can’t join the herd right now. I like being able to travel freely and going to see mother and Guinevere Sue.” He had a slight blush on his cheeks when he mentioned the white mare’s name. Tossing his head back he changed the topic. “Besides where I live with the herd I would have to follow many rules that I do not even know. I prefer not to cross the stream unless I know it’s depth brother. ”

He understood his brothers' responses. So they haven't seen her either. How strange. "Is the beautiful mare uhh.." he cocked his head to the side trying to remember the name. "...Guinevere?" He felt awkward and out of place when he found out that 'handsome' was a term that was said by mares.
"But.. but Daddy's visiting Mommy and they're in different lands too?"
Karit flickered his ears in interest of hearing about the white mare. Has he even heard of her before? Or why else did it sound familiar to him? "It's different Nasu. Eri and I would rather follow our own rules than someone else's because our rules are our freedom. We can do what we want and you and Raz are sort of stuck here.."

Eri felt himself blushing but he didn’t attempt to hide his head at all. He nodded. “Yes that’s her.” He listen to how Karit summarized the situations. “He has it right Nasu. Well it’s true that you could travel into the neutral lands like father does from time to time. It would be harder for you to freely enter the king’s lands. It’s true that you have a herd and are safe and easily accepted, but to have to bow your head and listen to one whose policies you don’t always agree with would be very hard for me. ” He tried to think of something to equate it to and couldn’t. “Nasu has there ever been someone who you just could not stand, but you had to listen to what they said no matter how you felt about it?”

He frowned at Eri's last question. Yes, there was one certain Azrein that kept getting on his nerves. Voltaire. "But, if Daddy's visiting Mommy..." his head was spinning. "Oh, never mind. Oh wait! Don't never mind that! If Daddy's visiting Mommy, then doesn't that mean that they're planning something?"
Now to answer the question. "Er... yeah." he gently kicked a blade of grass. "His name's Voltaire and wants to train me to be strong and powerful like the others of the herd." Nasu found the blue stallion silly, wanting to toughen up the younger one, but hey, least he'd have something to do while trying to stay out of everyone's way.

Raz silently listened to his younger brothers conversation and wondered to himself exactly what it was about their mother, that drew their father away from the herd and into the neutral lands so often. Perhaps if he would simply give up his allegiance to the Six, they could all live together. He didn't really think that was ever going to happen, but it was nice to imagine. But they'd been standing around out here on the edge of the herd's territory for long enough, and it was time they made a decision on what to do.
"Brother's, this little impromptu reunion of ours brings joy to my heart, but if the two of you are discovered, I am not sure Nasu and I could cover for you. It seems none of us has seen mother in quite a long time, so may I suggest we take our leave of this place, and go see for ourselves exactly what it is that she and father are doing?"

Eri looked at Raz and nodded. He was right of course. “Yes of course Raz. I believe mother was in neutral lands last I saw her. I can take you to where she was.” Eri smiled and turned to Nasu. “Well then I suppose that’s the best way to put it. I wouldn’t want to join the six because to me it would be like having to deal with one or many Voltaire’s on a daily basis. It wouldn’t be fun or an easy way for me to live. You’re right though with what you said before. Mother and father may be planning something but father doesn’t have to go all the way into the king’s land to see her they meet in the neutral lands. So while it may not be the land they are most comfortable in it is easier than one of them traveling all the way to the other’s lands.” Eri started out into the neutral lands toward where he had last encountered their mother. He had no guarantee that his mother would be where he last saw her, but it would be a start for all of them.
(Question are we all actually going to see Flighty and Savina? If so it might be a good place for a time skip so they can meet up with their other family members. If not then at least they can move off the boarder of the six’s territory. )

[[Sure, I was thinking about either us travelling in another thread or simply begin with the new foals.(: And if you guys are up for it, we can bring Free and Guinereve too.]]
"Oh good!" he was already bouncing just at the idea of eeing his mother once again. Would she even care for him and his brothers or see them as threats? He shuddered getting that idea out of his head. That was foolish of him. Looking around to make sure that there was no one nearby, he nodded. "Yes, we should leave now since the sun's about to rise. That's when the next patrol comes out."
Karit was just standing there, lost in thought. Hearing Raz say "reunion" broke his train of thought though. Mother? Father? "Once we find our parents, we're going to have a super long talk with them." he snorted. Why would Flighty and Savina just leave them like this? After all, it was them who did not even tell them that they were going to meet up. What if.. what if.. nah. Father wouldn't dare to kill any of her kind. "I agree with Eri. That makes sense of them leaving their lands. It's the most safe for them and Eri and I know that lands quite well, don't we Brother?"
